Friend number two is Austin Williams.

They've been tight since they were both in diapers.

Austin was his assistant

till Craig could no longer afford to pay him.

He's now working as a plumber.

Well, he probably clears more as a plumber

than he did as Craig's assistant.

And the third one?

Vester Lee, seasoned comic.

He used to be Craig's mentor

until Craig's success eclipsed his own a few years ago.

All right, so the student - becomes the teacher. - Yeah, but

he's landed on his feet.

He's writing copy for commercials now.

Okay, so none of them have

glaring financial problems, but we still think one of them

tried to kill Craig for money?

We need to talk to Craig's friends.

Yeah, I'm familiar with it.

Markesha was a totally successful relationship guru

until she became better known as the butt of Craig's jokes.

But lately, right, it seems like she's doing better.

She's been out doing readings and signings.
