Where is Meth Kim? Where is he?

Who was it? Who took him?

Who took Kim Choong Sup?

Doctor's... Son...

What?

Meth Kim called him... the Doctor's Son.

Doctor's Son? Who's that?

I... really don't know. I don't know anything.

I wonder why he took Kim Choong Sup?

Scale... Scale is his target.

It isn't an organization.

He's in a war with Scale.

It's a coup.

Episode 2 Shi Hyun... I really don't know anything!

You know I can't lie.

I think I'm about to fall!

Doc! Help me!

Cut it off.

Doc! You shouldn't do this.

I told you I really don't know.

Don't cry. There will be no presents for kids who cry.

Because Santa knows everything...

tears are lies and good kids won't have anything to cry about.

Wa... Wait minute!

Soo... I'll tell you. I'll tell you. Pull me up!

I can't hear you.

The Renaissance... Renaissance Hotel! He's there!

It's the truth so pull me up!

Bring him up.

You are the best, Dad!

It's been a long time.

- I'm sorry, Scale. - You stupid fool...

Did you enjoy the singing?

You bastard!

Dad, who are they?

We're your dad's friends. We need to talk about business with your dad.

You're definitely making a mistake now.

I'll continue with what I couldn't finish the other day. Have a seat.

Sit down... before I make you a cripple.

I'll make it simple. Your status and position will remain the same.

But from now on, I'll be handling all the businesses.

You can sit back and comfortably receive your salary at home.

You want me to...

You want this Scale...to be a puppet?

You'll have to accept my condition.

It was a difficult labor when he was born.

His mother died but we were able to save him.

But... I wasn't there when he was born.

I'd just met a woman that was really my style!

So, I feel that much sorry for him and he's been the apple of my eye.

But even if you say you'd kill him...

I won't change my mind. You get what I'm saying?

Why kill an innocent when I have sinner right in front of me?

I'm going to strip you down naked in front of your son.

And I'm going to make you kneel down before me.

I'm going to drag you around and won't stop until you die.

At the end, you'd be given the choice of your tool.

A metal pipe, a hammer, or an ax...

You must know since you've been doing this for a while.

You'd be begging me to save you...

Begging me to stop...

A father's horrid scream... Blood splashing everywhere...

It'll be a good memory for your son.

Bring him out.

Stop!

Stop, you bastards!

How much... will you give me?

Where is the drug factory?

Wow... Who's this? It's 'Yisul'.

It's been a long time.

I don't want to smell like an old man.

And... if you call me by that name one more time...

you'd have to say good bye to your tongue forever.

You insolent bitch...

This old man was just teasing. No need to ruffle your feathers, President Lee.

It's 'Chairman Lee'. President sounds so unfashionable.

Do I look like a president? I look more like a CEO.

Did you call me... a bitch earlier?

I'll see you later.

What's going on? You want to see me at a place like this.

- You're here. - Yeah.

- Looks good on you. - Huh?

Oh my! It's really pretty.

What's going on? You're being sensible like this.

I had nothing else to spend my money on.

In a moment like this, rather than giving me an insincere reply...

you should just kiss me.

Hi, you are here.

- Yeah... I've been here. - Have a seat.

Wow... long time no see.

Wow... you're becoming more and more beautiful.

Looks like you're aging backward.

Everyone says that but...

I don't want a compliment from you, who thinks anything with a skirt is good looking.

It's well-meaning advice to be careful of women. Understand?

I hear the sound of blade sharpening in your speech.

So... they couldn't perform plastic surgery on that ugly tongue of yours, huh?

Would you like to get jaw surgery from me?

Auntie.

I told you to call me 'Big sister'.

By the way... is it true that you've got Scale?

Yes.

I found out the location of the drug factory.

The problem is, we have about two months worth of supply left at most.

I thought Scale was directly involved in the production?

No... Pusan is behind Scale.

He's been getting crude stuff from Pusan and refining it for the market.

From now on, we need to negotiate with Pusan in Scale's name.

To cut to the chase... you have to tell me everything... and anything you know about Pusan.

I'm here, Chairman.

Oh, 'Safari Moon' is here.

How have you been?

Because of your care and concern, I've been doing well.

- Sit down. - I'm okay.

This is more comfortable for me.

Still... sit down.

Okay, then.

Recently...

something unpleasant happened.

Doctor's Son... do you know him?

- You do know him well. - Yes, I do know him.

How do you know him?

It wasn't such a great acquaintance.

You should... sever that tie now.

Nice and clean.

- Hey. - How have you been?

- Long time no see. - Yeah.

Hi, there.

- Did you eat? - Yeah, I did.

It'll be over after this round.

I shook it up.

- Shi Hyun. - What?

Do you want to have a date with Auntie this weekend?

How about we go to an amusement park?

How about we go see a movie? Let's go see 'The General's Son'.

Okay, then I'm off the hook this round.

- Okay. - Okay.

Wow, this little one sure knows how to play cards.

Are you a high roller?

Shi Hyun isn't just good at playing cards.

He mastered the multiplication table even before he started school.

Wait a minute... the one who spread his seeds and left...

Perhaps he was a doctor. That's right! A doctor.

Then... are you a doctor's son?

Doctor's son.

Doctor's son.

Okay, then should we play one more round?

Okay.

Make sure you beat him.

I'll go.

It could really be a trap.

So, that's why I'm going.

I can go because you're the only one I can trust with Scale.

- Really? - Really.

I'm going in blindly.

Okay, here is a 100.

And I'll raise you by 3000.

Oh, Hye Soo.

Really? Where are you?

Is that right? You guys go ahead and continue.

Where are you? I don't see you.

You got a room?

What's this?

Excuse me?

It's been a long time.

How has your life been?

With the blessings from Buddha, I'm still alive and kicking.

It's such a good time now.

It could come in on ships and flights...

During my days...

we had to swim all the way to the Tsushima Island and pick up the goods from the Yakuzas.

If you think about it...

Tsushima Island should definitely be our territory.

If I could get a bag full of Meth on my back...

I'd never have to feel tired and keep going back and forth.

It's easier now because our predecessors have worked hard to make the ways.

That's fine if you know that.

So... let me get to the point.

I heard you're holding Scale.

Have a mouthful?

Let him go.

Do you understand?

I can't do that.

Then die.

Considering our friendship from the past, I'll just come by and say hello this time.

You don't need to be grateful or anything.

I'll see you later.

- Turn the car around. - Excuse me?

Hurry up and turn the car around!

Hye Soo. I'm here.

Hye Soo.

Where is she?

What's this? Let me go!

You damn bastard...

Are you okay?

There is a person in the car.

What are you doing?

I did everything you ordered me to do.

It'd be more natural for the bitch and the bastard to go together.

Where is Soo?

Hey, where is Soo?

Help me.

Doctor!

Come this way.

Treat his life... as though it's yours.

This bastard is...

Soon, Safari will be here.

You can just pick anywhere you like to sit.

Look at this.

Now that I look at it, I don't think there's seat for you here.

Are you threatening Scale?

Call the Chairman right now so I can talk to him directly.

Do you think this is just my idea?

Chairman Jo has the same idea.

If I had to move...

you should know that means there was an order from the above.

How long are you going to just stand there!

It's hurting my neck.

Hey, Safari... Please let me live.

- Then what can you do for me? - Huh? What?

Oh man, have you become so slow already?

When you're begging for your life...

you need to offer something precious in order for the deal to happen.

The way for you to live?

I'll let you know how you can live.

You understand?

Yes.

Is this Team Leader Ji Hyung Min?

Who's calling please?

This is... Scale calling.

Yes.

Is this Team Leader Ji Hyung Min?

Who's calling please?

This is... Scale calling.

Why don't you sit down?

Let's talk after we've eaten.

Actually, we're all doing this shit so that we could eat and live.

I'm going to miss this the most.

I won't be able to have it for a while.

What are you trying to pull here?

- Would you like a drink? - I asked what you were doing.

So... you want me to become the bait for Doctor's Son.

That won't be the only thing.

From now on... the owner of Donghae Construction is going to be Doctor's Son.

You understand?

Everything is in here.

All the sins that I've committed.

What's the real reason for doing this?

Hey, brother. You don't need to think it's complicated.

The world is a lot simpler than you think.

Who is it?

Don't act like you don't know.

You and I both know...

the reason why you turned yourself in...

the reason why the jail is a lot safer.

Is it because of the Doctor's Son?

So, you knew already.

You're right.

The reason why I turned myself in is... to live.

Because I don't want to die in his hands...

I'm running away.

The USB drive Scale, Kim Gyung Shik, turned in...

only had information about his investments from the profit gained from his drug deals.

In his personal account, we didn't find anything that traced back to the Donghae Construction.

It's never been easy to locate the flow of funds in the narcotics world.

Since they only deal in cash.

We're talking about Scale here. We're completely at a loss on this one.

The only thing we can do now is... arrest the Doctor's son.

As of now, Doctor's Son is the only thing that is closest to the truth.

It's a fact that he was the one who threatened Scale.

Ask for assistance from every division and department...

and bring back any information related to the Doctor's Son.

If he secured such a position in that world...

I'm sure he's left a trace somewhere. I'm sure of it.

Okay, let's get going.

Lieutenant Suh, Detective Lee.

As of today, Detective Lee will be working in the information team.

I hope Lieutenant Suh will show her the ropes.

Why? What's the reason?

I should have done this a long time ago. I'm sorry it's so late.

Are you saying you're doing this for me?

That's right.

Why do you have to decide my things all on your own?

Have you ever thought about what I really wanted?

I'll remain in the investigation team.

Have you ever... thought about me at least once?

Can't you try to understand me?

I'm a policeman.

The information team members are also investigators and the police.

You don't have to work outside on the field to be part of the police.

This is the best way I can protect you.

Doctor, we need to get back at them.

Doctor.

You agreed that you won't come here.

At least, I should see you being successful, right?

If you have seen it, get lost.

It's been a long time. Should we have a drink together?

I detect some regret on your face.

In this field, you don't last long if you keep any regret.

Did you come here to give me a lecture?

You know how Chairman Jo is.

You'd have to spread the Doctor's ashes.

Don't touch Shi Hyun.

Promise me.

That is...

entirely up to you.

What is it?

He's here.

Okay.

Doctor's here. Get the hell out.

Then I'll see you again, soon.

Shi Hyun, what brings you here without even a call?

Why did you call me by my real name all of a sudden?

So what? It's just the two of us.

Still... don't do that again.

Okay, Doctor. Happy now?

By the way, I heard Soo was hurt.

Is he dead?

Scale turned himself in.

What the hell is he trying to do?

But he's still too young to have Alzheimer's.

He's been shoving down too much sashimi. Maybe he's got mad cow disease?

It's the communication from Pusan that he doesn't want me to acknowledge.

He doesn't want to do business with me.

But Scale has cut off his own limbs.

In order to expose me to the police... Pusan made Scale turn himself in.

So, you are saying...

he's using the police to get you?

Well... roughly, that's the story.

Don't you worry. The police will never be able to catch me.

Okay, that's enough. You need to leave the scene for now.

Do you want to go to Japan or something?

That's a good idea. I'll take care of the things here. Okay?

- Have you heard from him? - Who?

Mister Safari.

Once Scale is gone from the scene in Seoul...

Safari is the only character who could come on stage.

It was ages ago when I severed my ties with uncle Safari.

What are you talking about?

As soon as I left, he took Scale. It couldn't have happened unless he's been watching.

That means Safari's spy is among us.

It's probably the one who was the closest to uncle Safari.

Are you doubting me now? Is that it?

You didn't?

My god! Why would I do that?

I told you I severed all my ties with him long ago.

I know. You couldn't have done that.

I guess no one could have known it so easily.

The one who made Soo like that...

whoever it was, I'm not going to leave him alone.

- Watch her carefully. - Yes.

In 2009, the port development rights. In 2010, Gunsung Univ. library.

The same year, the library for women.

In 2011, the nest housing development.

In 2012, the silver town resort.

In 2013... the drug rehabilitation center.

Just looking at the most recent records...

they all show clear evidence of money-laundering of over several hundred billion won.

Hey brother... what I'm saying is all the money has gone straight to Doctor's Son.

I've lost everything. I'm left with just an empty shell.

Donghae Construction?

Explain this to me.

Ah... I do remember him now.

I've met him only once.

The Doctor's Son asked me to... so I entertained him once playing golf.

Money-laundering?

I don't even do my own laundry.

Go and ask Chairman Park Choong Mo. Then, you'll know.

Ah... I guess Chairman Park is under an investigation by the Prosecutor's Office.

You have a phone call.

[Director Min Hong Gi]

Yes, Director.

Chairman Park Choong Mo of the Donghae Construction...

was discovered after he committed suicide in his hospital room this morning.

The NSS hasn't even released their autopsy results...

is there any reason why you've concluded that it was a suicide?

We discovered his suicide note.

Where did you find the suicide note that the family of the deceased isn't even aware of?

It was in Chairman Park's tablet.

Once the investigation has been finalized...

we'll decide whether to release the content of the letter after discussing it with the family.

That'd be all.

The pressure from the public opinion that...

Chairman Park Choong Mo's suicide has...

in fact, stopped the investigation of illegal money-laundering...

the Prosecutor's Office has requested a search warrant...

for the Donghae Construction's accounting firm, Chungrok.

Park Choong Mo is dead and...

there's no dirt on Scale.

Do you really believe Park Choong Mo committed suicide?

Scale turned himself in and he's been blaming everything on the Doctor's Son.

Then Chairman Park Choong Mo, who could have proved Doctor's guilt commits suicide.

Someone is definitely writing this scenario.

Someone powerful enough to kill Park Choong Mo and make Scale turn himself in.

If not, Scale would have been caught long ago by the Prosecutor's Office.

I've lost weight.

Did you come to get attention from your son?

You had all the information on Scale... why didn't you get him... Commissioner?

I can talk about it to my son but I won't talk about it to a cop.

If you come back to me as my son, then you'll know the reason why.

If not, you'll never find out.

I'm not going to the Prosecutors Office.

As long as the Commissioner is there.

You really do believe that the Prosecutors Office is everything.

Fine... I'll make you believe otherwise.

Was this what you wanted?

Now that you've returned to the police, you want to go against your own father?

So what? Do you want to make me like my brother?

That guy... that guy chose his own path. No one pushed him into things.

Of course.

You're someone who calls his son 'that guy'.

Did you call my mother that way, too?

I'll tell you one thing and go.

I'm... just doing what I think is right just as you taught me in the past.

Then...

We'll take Scale.

And... this will be the end of helping you save your face using Prosecutor Ahn.

Why did you catch Scale?

Why didn't you catch Scale?

You and I can never have pleasant words...

Honestly speaking, the brain dysfunctioned due to a drug overdose...

so it can't be rehabilitated that quickly.

I know it's difficult but you need to hang in there.

You need to be patient and give it some time.

You are the one who introduced me to booze and adult movies.

But there isn't anything that I've done for you.

I'm sorry.

I'm sorry, Kang Min.

But, I can promise one thing.

I'm going to kill all the druggies who made you like this.

I'm going to find them all...

and make them pay for what they've done.

Where is the drug?

Can you give me a syringe?

Pl... Please.

Please... just one.

Oh my god! Wonderful!

Finally, this Tooth has come to Seoul.

Was it your first time in Seoul? I thought you were the Abgujeong Tooth.

Was it just a bluff again?

I was living in Abgujeong before I went to New York.

New York my ass... You came from Pusan.

Why are you being like this? Taking all the fun out of things...

You shouldn't tackle me like this unless you've see the White House in New York.

Hey, there!

It's Tooth... Tooth!

Oh, look at the pool. Looking good.

Should I show you my tricks now?

Oh, strike.

Even though the Doctor has the distribution lines...

unfortunately, he doesn't have the supply.

I'm sure the wholesalers are going crazy wanting the goods.

Lee Ji Sook is also aware of that desperate situation.

Have you looked into it?

By tonight, you'll have something lined up. Hurry! Hurry!

She'll try to find a new route and earn some brownie points.

Because Scale has laid out the foundation...

- Tell me about the Doctor's Son. - Hey, brother...

When Ji Hyung Min hears the Doctor's Son's name, he'd wake up in the middle of the night.

Don't move!

So, you want me to nudge Lee Jin Sook to come to the deal.

And I'm supposed to make things stinky for Ji Hyung Min.

Is that it?

With this, we'll save the police force's reputation, and we won't need to shed a drop of blood.

You got it?

It'll be a piece of cake. We're all set.

Then what about the goods?

Who's going to transport it?

So... you want me to be the bait and...

take the madam to the site where the deal takes place with the police watching like hawks.

Isn't that right?

Come out after you've circled around a few times.

Then Scale's chair will be yours.

You understand?

As long as you can promise Scale's chair, then...

Have you looked into it?

As I get to know more, it's truly amazing.

Of course, I've looked into it.

I've looked into it and...

this broker is famous for being good-natured in this field.

Then, let me see him.

Come in.

Oh, nice to meet you, Chairman Lee.

Think of it as a real deal.

The moment you think it's an act, all your techniques will fail.

And I look very trustworthy anyway.

You know that North Korea has the world's best stuff.

You know those Mexican bastards who annihilated the police because they messed with them?

Even those bastards acknowledged them.

North Korea, very good! Tequila! They just got it.

But then there is this one small problem.

I think we're talking too much about business.

We should dance a blues together and...

Do you want to lose a hand so you can't even wipe yourself?

Just continue talking.

So... the problem is we don't have a market.

Why? Because they got caught by the Triad who deals with the North Korean Labor Party.

So... they want to deal with me?

That's right.

- And the price is? - Cheap. Very affordable.

A big one for a pack?

Let's take out two small ones.

They can either go with that price or continue being loyal to the Party.

Okay. Okay. Okay.

Then, I'm going to schedule a visit right away.

Then, let's have a drink to celebrate.

I'm going to put you with a student so do some studying before you go.

But I think I prefer to study with you.

Come in.

If this is the case, then...

Then what should I study?

What would be your name?

Good morning.

You're late this morning.

I'm sorry.

In each division, department, and precinct...

you need to monitor all cases in progress in the narcotics groups.

There are phone numbers for the detectives working in narcotics groups.

If you find anything suspicious, you can call them to confirm.

All you need to do is just check them and report them to the Team Leader.

You got it?

Yes.

Yes, hi. This is Detective Lee Gyung Mi from the Special Unit.

We got a tip so we raided a house.

We found the three kilograms of methamphetamine in this woman's purse.

Age 28, the name is Kim Eun Soo.

She claims that she is Scale's woman and the stuff belongs to Scale.

She said she was supposed to deliver this to someone.

The Doctor's Son?

It's a funny nickname but he must be a big shot.

Detective Lee is going to escort Kim Eun Soo into the Special Unit.

Okay, I got it.

I'm counting on the actress Kim's awesome performance.

Which style?

Go with the innocent and pitiful.

Ah!

So... you received a phone call from this guy claiming to be the Doctor's Son?

Yes.

He said there must be some stuff Scale has hidden.

He told me to find it and get ready to hand it over.

Where is the stuff?

I submitted it to the evidence room.

What should I do?

I know because I heard it from Scale.

The Doctor's Son... I heard he's a monster.

What do I do now? Huh?

When did he say he'd call back?

Today.

Let me see you for a second.

Can we just talk here?

I told you to stay in the information team. Why are you acting on your own?

Well, it was an urgent matter and...

I thought I could figure it out once I see things in person..

There is it is. It's him.

You're all set if you could make the police come to the deal. Got that?

That's okay. Just answer it calmly.

Answer it.

I don't think I can.

I can't answer this.

Yes.

Is it this madam?

- Who is this? - Me?

I'm the younger brother of Doctor's Son.

I heard you have Scale's inheritance.

We need to see each other, don't we?

Why do you always decide things on your own?

I'll do this. I'm the only one who could do this.

No way.

We can let Kim Eun Soo out and tail her.

It's too dangerous. What can she possibly do in that state?

She's never met him and doesn't even know what he looks like.

It's Doctor's Son. The one who made Scale like that.

I know that my Team Leader will watch out for me.

How did such a young, beautiful girl get mixed up in this?

You're feeling sorry for anybody and everybody. They all do this for the money.

Excuse me.

Are you okay?

I'll bring you a new one.

Hey, hey, what's up now?

- Chief. - Yes.

Take Kim Eun Soo's picture and send it to the Special Forces Unit.

Tell them to select someone similar to Kim Eun Soo.

I'm going to meet with Scale to see whether Kim Eun Soo is indeed his woman.

Until I come back, keep an eye on Kim Eun Soo.

Understood.

Your world is so complicated.

It must have been difficult getting to that position.

I'll give you that.

Well... I think I was born with it.

Let me ask you one thing.

I heard you left some of your stuff at your lover's place.

From now on, your lover's name is Kim Eun Soo.

Kim Eun Soo. Got that?

Keep that name in mind.

Wow, when I look at Eun Soo in a picture, she looks real pretty.

Don't you think so?

It must have been fun... with a woman that could be your daughter...

You'll never know... what that feels like.

Don't touch my Eun Soo.

She's a pretty and nice girl.

I've temporarily left my stuff with her for now.

A pretty and nice girl, huh?

Kim Eun Soo will have to do at least two years for the possession of illegal substances.

My my, this brother... doesn't have much sympathy, does he?

- You're pretty heartless. - I'll take that as a compliment.

Why don't you leave the picture here?

You can just imagine her.

Don't take your eye off of Kim Eun Soo.

I'm going to go and interrogate her myself so don't let anybody near her.

Yeah, this is Scale.

Ji Hyung Min brought me a picture.

Ji Hyung Min brought Eun Soo's picture?

- Did you see a mole on her chin? - A mole? What mole?

I got it.

Ji Hyung Min...

Who's order was it?

- What do you mean? - I mean who the hell sent you here?

What are you talking about?

The one who killed Park Choong Mo...

and made Scale turn himself in to get Doctor's Son.

I'm asking you who that is.

You thought you could fool us?

Is that right?

Did you really think you could manipulate the police the way you want?

Who's the bastard who can throw three kilograms of drugs like that?

I'm not sure... what you are talking about....

Who gave you the order?

Tell me! Who is it?

Do you really think the Doctor's Son will come?

By now, I'm sure he's heard the sound of us playing tricks.

He'll definitely come to save his Auntie.

If I were Safari, I'll definitely be watching this now.

Now, we have no choice but to go through with this operation.

I'm a policeman. Just because it's dangerous, I can't let someone else be in danger.

Is it an undercover operation or something?

Maybe with this operation, not only Doctor's Son...

but we may be able to discover who's behind Scale.

Safari... where is he, now?

This is Detective Lee Gyung Mi from the Special Unit!

Don't move!

Are you Doctor's Son?
