My life has been nonstop work lately.

So, this summer, I'm going to Fire Island to relax.

I've worked with all the biggest names in the game.

I've toured with Pink, Katy Perry,

JLo, Beyoncé, Rihanna.

And recently, I've started to cross over

to the world of choreography.

I hustle, I do my jobs and I keep it moving.

I've been dating this guy, Jason, for about a year now.

It's hard 'cause we're doing it long distance.

I'm in LA, he's in New York.

This looks so good! I know.

It's our situation-ship.

I know that we both want to take it to the next level,

but we don't live in the same place.

So, this summer, for the first time,

we are gonna be on the same coast.

Who knows if that's gonna be a good thing or a bad thing.

Summer shares are when a lot of guys will get together

and they decide to split a house.

Jason works a lot, so he won't be able to come out

to Fire Island every weekend.

But I was able to find a huge house on the beach

and I invited my friends to join me.

Some of the guys know each other, some don't.

But all six of us will be out on the island

every weekend together.

My Jorge... I love my Jorge.

We're like soul mates.

He is hands down the craziest person I've ever met.

I'm free this afternoon!

I actually met Jorge when I was on tour with JLo in Venezuela.

He rolls up to my hotel in five Escaldes

to take the whole crew out to this amazing party.

He had me out until 9:00 a.m.

and I knew from there on we were gonna be good friends.

You're gonna die, it's so hot.

You should change quick 'cause we have to go

to the train station.

(Jorge) I study medicine.

I was working in Venezuela as a doctor,

and I came to New York for the first time.

It was a combination of everything that I wanted.

The people, the streets, the buildings.

I promised myself to come back to New York and to live here.

When I move from Venezuela,

I had to leave behind my family, my friends,

my boyfriend and my career.

It wasn't easy at all.

But I wanted to have a better lifestyle.

To be able to be me without being judged.

To be able to walk in the streets

holding hands with a person that I love,

which, in my country, like is forbidden.

Growing up, I never imagine a place like Fire Island.

And now I'm gonna spend the whole summer

there with Khasan.

We have this like very unique relationship, you know?

We hug each other, we sleep together, we love each other.

But there is nothing sexual between us.

Everyone thinks that Khasan and I, we're sleeping together.

But I would be terrified to be Khasan naked.

He's basically my family.

I'm studying marketing right now at NYU.

It's my last year in school,

so I'm able to go to Fire Island every weekend

'cause I don't have so much responsibility.

But I know that I won't be able to do this ever again.

I'm currently single.

I do have the array of people that I'm talking to,

uh, whether it be one guy or ten guys.

I just wanna have fun.

to go to Fire Island for the summer.

The idea of being out there every weekend

kind of made me a little nervous.

Fire Island, to me, represents a certain look and body image,

and I don't feel like I fit into that mold.

Growing up, I was constantly teased about how I look

and it prevented me from doing a lot of things

that I wanted to do and really be me.

But that all changed.

A few years ago, I was diagnosed

with the possibility of having colon cancer.

And it was months and months

of testing and surgery and masses removed.

But I came out of it on the other side,

and began to appreciate who I am.

What that experience taught me was that I live once,

and I wanted to do all the things

that I was too scared to do before.

I'm trying to be more open,

so I started dating a guy named Austin.

In addition to going to Fire Island for the first time

in a long time, I really wanna pursue

my career and dream of being an illustrator.

I'm hoping that Fire Island gives me creative inspiration,

but also makes me comfortable

in my own beautiful, Italian, olive skin.

Which will get tan.

and I just fell in love with it.

at this amazing oceanfront house,

I jumped on that opportunity.
