Dance of the sky Empire

Episode 18

Prince Mu.

Are you so close now?

Do you forget

that you're still my wife?

The marriage thing is just acting.

Why do you entangle me?

Getting married with me is just acting?

Is the kiss under the lake,

also acting for you?

Answer my question.

Yes.

It's just acting.

It's not real.

You're lying.

Li Xuan,

Cui Pianran is the one who has engaged with you.

Now that you've already been a couple,

you shouldn't come to me anymore.

What do you mean she and I are a real couple?

The marriage of her and me is not real.

How could we be a real couple?

You yourself know the truth in your mind.

You should make yourself clear.

Cui Pianran stayed in your room

overnight that day.

All the people in the Academy have known it.

Tell me the truth.

Why you're so close to Yu Fengmu

is that you're jealous of what happened between Cui Pianran and me, isn't it?

You're saying nonsense.

I'm saying nonsense?

Then why are you blushing?

I swear to God

there's no romance between her and me.

Nothing has happened.

Xuanxuan.

Schoolmate Bian, ease up.

Why should I?

You talk to him in person.

I'm sorry, Schoolmate Li.

I'm sorry.

Why do you have my token?

I have no idea.

Maybe I took it unconsciously

when I was sleepwalking yesterday night.

You know I will always do something strange

when I'm sleepwalking.

I can't control myself.

I think you covet

the esoterica of magic arts in the mysterious lands.

I do wanna read the esoterica, but…

See.

You've admitted.

Hurry and tell the truth.

I…

Who on earth was the girl with you yesterday night?

I do have no idea.

I mean it.

It's fine.

I won't look into it anymore.

But If you come to steal my stuff

when you're sleepwalking next time,

I'll definitely teach you a lesson. Are you clear?

Yes. Yes.

I'm clear. I'm clear. I'm clear.

Yanxi Hall

Your Highness II,

His Highness has held a feast specially for you

to celebrate your triumphant return.

He invites you to the Eastern Palace.

Our prince was injured when he wiped out the Clan of Kunwu.

He hasn't been cured.

He's gonna head for the Academy to ask Lord Zi to heal him.

I'm afraid he wouldn't…

What?

His Highness wants to

reward Your Highness II with the feast sincerely.

Will Your Highness II refuse the kindness of His Highness

due to your military merits?

How dare you?

Now that brother is so kind to me,

I'll definitely attend the feast.

Lead the way.

Please.

Your Highness, you're injured.

Attending a feast won't take long.

Xuan'an Hall

Your Highness II, please.

Now that brother invites me to the feast,

why isn't he here?

His Highness is changing clothes in his bedroom.

Your Highness II, please wait for him patiently.

If you don't have any other question, I'll leave first.

In my opinion,

the Crown Prince tries to flatter you for no reason.

He must have some bad intentions.

Your Highness, the liquor…

Don't worry.

Although my lame brother is pretty silly,

he won't dare to poison me

in his palace.

I'm just worrying about your health.

Go check

how soon the Crown Prince will come.

Yes.

His Highness has ordered that

no one is allowed to leave here

without his permission.

Your Highness II, please wait for His Highness here.

What do you mean?

Why hasn't the Crown Prince come yet?

His Highness is changing his clothes.

He'll come soon.

What if my prince doesn't wanna wait any longer?

Please don't hassle us, Your Highness II.

Now that His Highness makes us wait,

we'll wait in patience.

I don't get it.

Nowadays, His Majesty values you so much.

Why do you have to suffer this here?

The son His Majesty wants is someone

who could solve problems for him.

Today, I'm the one

he wants

while the Crown Prince could be the one tomorrow.

How could the talent and morality of the Crown Prince

be compared with yours?

How could father not know

what we've known?

But why hasn't he abolished the Crown Prince and appointed a new one?

Your Highness, what do you mean?

We don't have to come into a conflict with him.

He's still the Crown Prince

entitled by father anyhow.

I get it.

Your Highness.

His Highness II is waiting for you, as arranged.

I do wanna make him wait in the partial palace.

I'll see how he could be that arrogant anymore.

Yes.

His Highness II is extremely arrogant

and domineering due to his military merits.

He forgets you're the Crown Prince

who's the owner of the state in the future.

Without my permission,

he's not allowed to leave the partial palace.

Yes.

Su Youlian.

Su Youlian.

Youlian.

The class is over.

The class is over.

Let's go. Go. Go.

Li Xuan, you're finding me.

I'm not.

Let's

go back to our mansion.

When do I tell you I wanna go to your place?

You have to go with me.

Today, my mother has found the best dressmaker in the Qingtian City

to make the wedding clothes for us.

So you have to go to my place.

What are you gonna do?

Li Xuan.

Do you hear me?

I won't marry you.

It's what His Majesty has assigned.

Do you wanna disobey the imperial instruction?

Li Xuan.

Xuanxuan doesn't have a thing for you.

You won't be happy even if you force him to marry you.

Let it go. Let it go.

You'd better change your mind as soon as possible.

To be honest,

I'm tired of a sweet relationship.

I do wanna force him.

Your Highness.

As long as you order us, we'll break through the palace.

The guards outside the door

won't be able to stop us.

It seems His Highness

has made up his mind to hassle me.

Stand still. Stand still.

Stop.

Move away.

What are you doing?

Do you wanna stage a revolt?

Do you know what the place it is?

Put your spears away.

Second Brother,

your subordinates don't follow the rules, do they?

How dare they hurt my guards?

Brother,

you finally appear.

What…

what do you mean?

Do you mean

I haven't treated you well?

Nope.

Brother holds a feast for me,

so I have to attend.

But you've made me wait for quite a long time without showing up

and you don't allow me to leave.

What do you wanna do?

Do I?

How could it happen?

Who of you dares to discourage Second Prince?

I'm reporting to you, Your Highness.

Some persons must have acted on their own.

I'll teach them a lesson later.

But it's Second Prince who picked up the fight first.

What are you saying?

Are you trying to drive a wedge

between Second Prince and me?

No, I'm not.

Back off.

Second Brother,

have you heard him?

It's my subordinates who acted absurdly.

It's not what I intended to do.

So,

it's I who misunderstand you.

I'll leave first.

Since you're here,

why do you hurry to go back?

Our discussion hasn't been over yet.

Back off.

You should back off too.

Do you wanna go against my instruction?

Bainian,

back off.

Second Brother,

I won't blame you

for misunderstanding me.

But I'm the Crown Prince,

and I'm also your elder brother.

How could you pick up a fight in my palace?

Do you know superiors and inferiors?

If what happens today spreads,

how will the public regard me?

Then what

do you wanna do?

You think?

It's I who fail to discipline my subordinates well.

So they offended you.

Please forgive me.

What did you say?

I can't hear you.

Don't go too far.

What's your attitude?

Guards.

Catch him.

Yes.

What are you doing?

You're staging a revolt, aren't you?

Come back.

Stand up.

Why do I raise you all?

You can't even fight against one person.

He's so awesome, isn't he?

It's great that we've broken through the palace.

Otherwise,

if the Crown Prince found you're a woman,

we would have a big trouble.

It's he who should feel lucky.

If he finds out

I've been disguised myself as a man

for so many years,

do you think

I'll allow him to keep alive to see the sunshine of tomorrow?

You're right, Your Highness.

Hold my hand.

It's so hard for you

to suffer from

soaking in the medicated bath on your birthday.

Compared with being hated by my father

as a daughter,

suffering from soaking in the medicated bath

isn't a big deal.

It's His Majesty who is so silly.

He even believed the word of the fortuneteller.

He believed that a princess would do harm to the fortune of a state,

so he intended to send all the princesses into exile.

Stop it.

Don't mention

the history anymore.

You can leave first.

I'll do the following part

by myself.

Yes.

I'm leaving.

Xuanxuan,

I saw Loong Wei'er come back to the Academy just now.

He finally shows up.

Let's go.

Loong Wei'er,

you look decent at ordinary times.

I haven't expected you're so uninhibited privately.

You even brought a woman to the Academy.

Since I've found out your secret,

you'll have to do

whatever I say later.

But

it's not the proper time for me to go inside.

Wei'er,

who allowed you to wear a flower?

Hold out your hand.

Your hand.

I've told you

not to touch girls' accessories.

Don't touch girls' accessories.

Why don't you follow what I said?

Why?

How could you disobey my word?

Why?

Why don't you follow what I said?

Why?

I get it.

Wei'er.

Mother, I'm so scared.

I don't wanna have the shower.

It must be painful.

Poor Wei'er.

I'm forced to do it.

Why are you a woman?

Only the Toxic Bath

can let you become a man temporarily in the world.

It can help deceive the public.

Mother, I feel painful.

Mother, it's too painful.

Mother.

Who's it?

It's me. Li Xuan.

Li Xuan.

Why does he come to me?

You're inside. I'm coming in.

Don't come in. Wait.

I'll open the door for you.

What took you so long?

Why do you come to me?

Visit you.

Who allows you to come in?

Come out.

Get out.

Li Xuan.

Don't you hear me?

I said get out.

What are you looking for?

Don't you hear me?

I said get out.

It's impossible.

I did see a woman in your room.

I said get out.

You brat.

Tell me the truth.

Are you hiding a woman in your place?

Who allows you to touch me?

Why not?

Why can't I touch a man?

I don't like it.

You wanna argue over it, don't you?

Ouch. Ouch. Ouch.

I won't touch you anymore. Okay?

I'll count three numbers. If you don't loosen your hand,

I won't be nice to you.

One.

Two.

You suck.

You wake up.

Your loud snore

awoke me.

It's impossible.

I've never snored.

How do you feel?

Much better.

Why do you

come to me so urgently tonight?

Listen to what you're saying.

We're so close, aren't we?

We fought against the Kylin together.

We fought against the Clan of Kunwu.

We're close friends who have gone through fire and water.

Can't I visit you when I don't have anything urgent?

Come to the point.

I'm sorry. I wanna ask you a favor.

Say it.

You know the wedding day of Cui Pianran and me

is coming soon.

I want you to send a message to His Majesty for me

to call off the engagement.

You have the military merits, don't you?

Why don't you beg my father in person?

Well,

I can do it by myself.

The time when I'll be awarded according to my contributions isn't coming

while my wedding day is coming.

Listen.

We're so close, aren't we?

Besides, I've been nursing you for quite long.

Could you do me a favor?

I can promise to beg my father for you.

But

I have one condition.

Please say it.

It's my birthday today.

Are you kidding me?

Why haven't you told me earlier?

I wish you can have the happiness as immense as the Eastern Sea and live as long as the southern mountain.

That's it?

It's almost dawn.

Your birthday is almost past.

Then you can still celebrate it for me.

Show me your sincerity.

Show me whether it's worthwhile

to beg my father for you

to withdraw his order.

No problem.

Wait a sec.

I don't want…

I get it.

To keep a low profile.

To keep a low profile.

What?

Celebrate a birthday?

Keep your voice down.

Loong Wei'er didn't want others to know.

Xuanxuan,

I mean, does Loong Wei'er have a …?

You idiot.

He's a man.

So am I.

What do you think?

How will you celebrate the birthday for him?

That's why I come to discuss it with you.

You know this kind of thing the most.

Help me figure out something.

It will work for girls

but for boys,

it's not proper.

I don't care.

Whatever can do.

The most important thing is to show my sincerity.

Allow me.

You should keep the secret for me.

Don't you know who I am?

Don't worry.

I heard from Bian Lingcheng

that Li Xuan spent a lot on fireworks and lanterns

all over the city today.

Are the fireworks he bought

used on the wedding day of Cui Pianran and him?

Think about it. On the wedding day,

the whole city will be lit up by the flaring fireworks and lanterns.

Then the people in the city can see it.

How enviable it is!

Su Youlian must have been so regretful.

You guys,

what are you talking about?

We're not talking about you.

Youlian,

don't take their word seriously.

Exactly.

You haven't had a thing for Li Xuan anymore.

Don't care about him.

She's leaving.

Why does she act so strange?

Please, Childe Li.

Have a look.

Fireworks are not enough. Send ten times of them here.

Okay. Okay.

This one is pretty good.

Okay. Okay.

And send more lanterns

here.

Sure. Sure. Sure.

Give me the map.

This place.

Here.

And here.

Get the three places into a line.

I'll let the people all over the city

see the fireworks when they look up.

Nation-protecting Master, don't worry.

We promise we'll make the full preparation.

Besides,

the way I pass through

will be lit up by lanterns.

Okay. Okay.

Okay.

Rest assured. We'll prepare it well.

And this one.

Who chose it?

Move it away immediately.

I don't wanna see it.

Hurry up. Hurry up.

Su Youlian.

Now that you're here,

why not come in?

I'm…

I'm passing by.

Passing by?

You're supposed to be having a class

in the Justice Hall, aren't you?

How come you're passing by?

I…

Do you think these lanterns are beautiful?

Loong Wei'er would like them, wouldn't he?

Loong Wei'er?

That guy would like them, wouldn't he?

But I think only girls might be fond of these things.

Why do you prepare it for Loong Wei'er?

It's for celebrating his birthday.

He wanted me to prepare for him.

Keep a low profile.

Xuanxuan.

Xuanxuan.

I've fully planned for you.

Do what I've written

on the paper one by one,

which will be perfect.

You deserve your reputation.

How is it?

We have to go out of the city, don't we?

Does it mean I can find Bai Xiaosheng

to inquire about the situation of my mother?

You've been worrying about the situation of your mother over the recent years.

Your father and Lord Zi

don't allow you to find Bai Xiaosheng outside the city.

You can finally get the chance,

taking advantages of Loong Wei'er.

It seems

no one can stop you from going out of the city this time.

Thank you.

Su Youlian is here.

How come you're not having a class

but come to find Xuanxuan?

I…

It's fine. It's fine.

You don't have to answer my question.

In my opinion,

it will be better for you two to distance one another.

Otherwise,

you might hurt Xuanxuan's heart again.

What are you talking about?

What?

You've forgotten what you suffered.

Okay.

When you're hurt at that time,

don't come to me anymore.

Bian Lingcheng.

Bian Lingcheng.

Wait for me.

What's up?

What do you want to say to me?

You said

Li Xuan has been worrying about her mother all the time.

Why?

Why do you wanna know it?

How come you care about him again?

To tell you the truth,

there's no need for you to do so.

Your concern means

too much for my friend.

Okay. Okay. Okay.

Don't act like that.

You look as I'm bullying you.

Bian Lingcheng,

could you please

tell me what the story is?

Why do Lord Zi and General Li

not allow him to go out of the city?

It's

a long story.

You mean

Li Xuan wants to know

the truth of his mother's death so much in these years

But General Li and Lord Zi

refuse to tell him the truth

for certain reason.

You're right.

They're being mysterious all the time.

Li Xuan has been suffering a lot

for the thing of his mother over these years.

He's able to go out of the city this time. And he can ask Bai Xiaosheng

about what happened that year.

I'm warning you.

Although I tell you the story of Li Xuan,

you're not allowed to hook up him.

Otherwise, we won't be able to be friends anymore.

Rest assured.

He and I

won't work out.

Okay.

Does it taste good?

Eat slowly.

What are you staring at?

Nothing.

Nothing?

Nothing.

What I see from your eyes

is jealousy.

You don't have to feel jealous of them.

You have Princess Yunshan, don't you?

Yeah.

The relationship between Princess Yunshan and you has been ambiguous for quite a long time.

Have you confessed your love?

You know that

she's Princess Yunshan

while

I'm nobody.

How can I confess my love to her?

Nope. What do you have to look down upon yourself?

Now that you've got admitted by the Moyun Ancient Academy,

you'll be the pillar of the state.

Do you know it?

You deserve her, don't you?

Your word makes sense anyhow.

Besides,

even a blind person

can see the romance between you two.

Now

what you should do is confess your love to her.

As long as you confess your love to her,

what others can do is envy of you in the future.

Confess my love to her?

How?

You're really a nerd, aren't you?

I'm wondering why Princess Yunshan

would have a thing for a nerd like you.

I mean,

the…the book doesn't teach me how to confess my love.

Schoolmate Bian,

you're an expert in this.

Why not teach me anything?

The key to confess your love

is to find a romantic timing.

A romantic timing?

For example,

when you're having a meal,

you can light up a candle.

The candlelight is flickering.

Through the candlelight,

you're looking at her

while she's looking at you.

Both of you have a thing for one another.

Then you can say you love her at the moment,

which is a perfect timing.

Lighting up a candle when having a meal can be a perfect timing for confessing love.

There's another unique skill.

What's it?

Anyway,

girls always fall for a man who's generous to them

and can spend all of his money for them.

You have to remember

there're only three words that girls want to hear,

which is not "I love you" but "My treat, please".

My treat, please?

Remember

you can't be closefisted at that moment.

Do you know it?

I'd better go do more cleaning

to earn more money.

What a genius I am!

Your Highness,

have you heard that?

I have no idea what Li Xuan is planning.

He spent a lot of money on buying the lanterns in the city.

Now he's decorating the city with all these lanterns.

How strange it is!

He doesn't wanna get married with Cui Pianran, does he?

Then why is he doing it?

Your Highness,

you wanna go out, don't you?

Loong Wei'er,

are you ready?

We should get going.

I've been waiting for you for long.

Let's go.

Li Xuan,

where do you wanna take our prince to?

Well, Bainian,

you should arrange the Twenty-four Papers of the National History

which I newly bought.

I'll read them when I come back in the evening.

Let's go.

Loong Wei'er, I'm telling you

that I've spent quite a lot on today's celebration.

I promise you'll never forget.

Will I?

Then I'll wait and see.

I promise.

Let's go.

How is it?

Are you surprised?

Here?

To tell you the truth,

it's the most exciting place

in the Qingtian City.

All the beauties aren't supposed to

do business during daytime.

But thanks to me, it's open now.

This way.

I'm telling you

he's my best friend.

You should…

You don't have to introduce him, Childe Li.

Come on. Come to my place.

I'll play the Melody of White Feathers Garment for you.

-Childe. -Li Xuan.

Why is your skin so tender?

Li Xuan.

She's right.

Li Xuan.

Li Xuan.

Having a handsome appearance is amazing, isn't it?

Is he more popular than I?

Waiter.

Bring me a pot of liquor

and some dishes.

Okay, Childe Li.

Childe.

Stop, Childe.

Stop, Childe.

Childe, what are you doing?

He's tiny but powerful.

Does it the "I'll never forget" mean?
