For me, I love the
adventure of being

in cold water, where the
weather can turn very quickly.

So when we're doing transfers
from the back of the boat

onto tenders and so forth,
just take our time with it.

Passengers are going to be
wearing a lot of clothing.

OK. They go into the water,
they're going to sink.

I know we're all going
to have some long nights

and early mornings.

Heads of department, you need
to take care of your crew.

I've been a captain
for over 20 years.

I grew up in a very macho world
in the outback in Australia.

Here in Norway, cold water
provides more excitement,

and in our vicinity
is a lot more adventure.

You know, guys, there's
plenty of different things

we can do here.

The yachting level of service
doesn't stop once the guests

leave the vessel.

Our job is to give the
guests the adventure

of their lifetime.

The way I run a vessel is,
I'm firm but fair.

I know people tend
to push boundaries,

but if you push them too
far, you'll know about it.

I usually set my own
rules, because I'm a cowboy.

I mean, I've got it right here.

Cowboy, so I'm just a roughneck
that gets it out the mud.

And I've done this for
4 and 1/2 years now,

and I've learned how to
not take no for an answer.

Like my parents, I'm also
a bit of a workaholic.

in yachting five years.

I worked on the same vessel,
moved my way up from deckhand

to first officer.

The boat I was on, I would
have stayed on longer,

but the owner sold the boat.

It felt like a break up with
the only woman currently

in my life, the boat.

I was just going to

mad at myself,

rocks over many, many years.

This is an iconic experience,

quite a lot, steak and seafood.
