I am Adam,

Prince of Eternia and defender of the secrets

of Castle Grayskull.

This is Cringer, my fearless friend.

Fabulous secret powers were revealed to me

the day I held aloft my magic sword

and said, "By the power of Gray skull..."

CHORUS: (SINGING) He-Man

(ROARING)

Cringer became the mighty Battle Cat

and I became He-Man,

the most powerful man in the universe.

Only three others share this secret,

our friends the Sorceress, Man-At-Arms and Orko.

Together we defend Castle Grayskull from

the evil forces of Skeletor.

(LAUGHS)

CHORUS: (SINGING) He-Man

(ENERGY PULSING)

(GROWLING)

Be careful, son.

That last Iaser was a little close.

I know, the last thing I want to do

is hurt one of them, but...

Uh-oh, they're coming closer.

(SCREECHING)

Our force shield isn't holding over there.

I'll try to reach Man-At-Arms again.

There must be something wrong with this radio.

Man-At-Arms, Man-At-Arms,

this is Hovar, can you hear me?

if Man-At-Arms doesn't come through for us?

The situation on Selkie Island is getting worse, Teela.

(PULSING)

ADAM: (SHOUTING) Why all the noise?

(GASPS) Adam, you startled me.

(HIGH-PITCHED SQUEAL)

Cringer's an animal,

just like those wild ones on Selkie Island.

They can't stand the sound.

only animals can hear it.

and seeing that he stays out of trouble?

(GRUNTS) It feels as if we hit something.

(GASPS) Look.

Oh, no.

TEELA: What is it?

ADAM: Kraken. The biggest sea monster on Eternia.

The ship will be crushed if we don't do something.

(ALL YELLING)

(KRAKEN SCREECHING)

This is getting a little too crowded for me.

(KRAKEN SCREECHING)

By the power of Gray skull...

(THEME MUSIC PLAYING)

I have the power!

(KRAKEN SCREECHING)

Now to see what I can do with it.

Didn't anyone ever tell you it's not polite to grab?

That kraken is sinking the ship.

SAILORS: Come on, over here.

No, over here. Get over here.

C'mon. Let's go, c'mon.

Those sailors are safe, but I don't see Teela.

Teela, where are you?

I must find her.

HE-MAN: íf Teela's trapped in there,

maybe she's found an air pocket.

HE-MAN: The VHO is gone.

Razorfins.

They can eat their way through anything.

(RAZORFINS ROAR)

(ROARING)

They're still with me.

(ROARING)

(GROWLING)

That wasn't a real fish. It was a...

It was a robot. I wonder what's next.

This must be a homing device.

If I follow the signal,

maybe I'll find Teela and a lot more.

It's coming from that direction.

And a long way off.

CHORUS: (SINGING) He-Man

(COMPUTER CLICKS AND BEEPS)

The force field shield is weak.

But it is holding for now.

Father.

This is the last laser and it's almost out of power.

I'm beginning to wish we never came here.

Son, when King Randor appointed me royal historian,

it was a great honor,

and it was my job to come here.

I know, but these old ruins,

they're nothing but a pile of junk.

Perhaps to some,

but once this was a beautiful city.

with the winner getting to keep Teela?

(LAUGHING)

HE-MAN: Then have at it.

Nice try. Now, how about this?

Now I'll just take Teela and get out of here.

Sorry I took so long.

He's gone after the kraken.

HE-MAN: Then we'd better get crackin'.

MER-MAN: I've got you now, He-Man. Both of you.

(KRAKEN SCREAMS)

And now for a little kraken throw.

(MER-MAN SCREAMING)

Well, that takes care of Mer-Man,

but I dropped the VHO.

ADAM: Help.

Adam!

Teela! Wow, am I glad to see you.

But I thought...

I mean, where did you get that?

Huh? Oh, you mean this. Well, He-Man gave it to me.

Say, can we go ashore? I mean, all this swimming,

I'm really bushed.

CHORUS: (SINGING) He-Man

(PULSING)

HOVAR: That's it. We have no more force shield.

(CLICKING)

And no more lasers.

(BEAST SNARLS)

They're... They're coming.

Stay close to me, son.

(HIGH-PITCHED SQUEAL)

JUSTIN: Father. It's Teela.

And Adam. Oh, thank goodness.

(BEAST YOWLS)

ADAM: Phew. Sounds like we got here just in time.

"Sounds"? Hmph, that's funny.

I don't hear anything.

CHORUS: (SINGING) He-Man

The VHO is working perfectly, Hovar.

And you'll both be safe from now on.

That's great.

Now we can really get back to work.

I mean, these old ruins were once a beautiful city,

you know?

We've got to find out who lived here,

and what happened to them. Right, Father?

That's right, son.

I'm going to get started right now.

Well, you two. I'd say that was a job well done.

He saved me from the kraken and Mer-Man.

ADAM: And he also saved the VHO.

I'm glad I stayed home this time.

Hovar and Justin certainly had a narrow escape, didn't they?

But when one is an explorer or a scientist like Hovar,

wild animals are only one of the many dangers you face.

And yet, throughout the course of history,

there have been brave men and heroic women

ready and eager to be the first to face the unknown.

To challenge its dangers,

so that others might follow without fear.

It is to these unsung heroes that we owe so much.
