and help me make it real life.

We came together and found this space

and it's definitely, like,
a really homely, girly space.

But I do think that in the near future
we'll probably have to move.

At the start, I remember thinking,
how are we gonna fill this space?

Because we didn't really have,
like, that many people

and I thought this is too much room.

But we've had to get more desks
because just more people.

I do like it.

I do have a really incredible feeling
about this next chapter of my life.

And I really do have hopes that
maybe we'll become an empire, really.

I really feel like it can.

I've been dealing with the press
all morning. It's crazy, my end.

I managed to get the Molly-Mae blazer

and I hate to say it,
but maybe it was a waste of money.

The bobbling. The blazer bobbling.

It has got so much bobbling already.

It's, like, it's bobbled.

The fabric has just bobbled
absolutely everywhere.

It is just a grey blazer.

It's not giving.

I've seen people wear it for, like,
two days and the quality's shocking.

That is so bad.

So, yeah. If anyone's thinking of
paying £140 for that, I wouldn't bother.

I've taken so much time, like,

spent literally years trying
to make it right and get it perfect.

All I want is for people to be happy.

"Can we all agree that the only reason

why this collection is sold out
was because of the name attached to it?"

Then they just, like,
showing you what you could get

for half the price
from a different website.

I've got to be honest and say
that we have faced more negativity

than I had anticipated so far.

Not all of it has been fair,

but I have to hold my hand up
and say that some of it has been fair.

The fabric that the blazer had been made
in was not the fabric that we signed off.

So, our final sample,

the sample that I test wore for,
probably had it on a year,

did not bobble.

Like, look right here, the fabric.

Sixty-three per cent polyester,
19 viscose, 18% acrylic.

So basically just cheap, synthetic fibres.

[Molly-Mae] It makes me feel crap,
like, it's not nice.

It's just my worst nightmare.

I want people to love it
and I want this to be a huge success.

It is… It does… massively knock
my confidence and put me down

when people say that they don't.

People just think that you…
you don't actually exist behind the phone.

They probably even think
that I don't check my DMs.

They probably just think,

"She has too many followers,
she's not gonna see it."

But I do see it.

To be honest,
I'm finding this, just very hard

because, at first, it was just
my relationship that was breaking down,

but now I feel like it's my business too.

started with the new business?

with you. It's not good.

This blazer situation.

It's eating me up at the minute.
And it's stressing me out.

People are wearing it, like, twice,
and the fluff is just, like, balling.

And we've got two coats coming out
in the exact same fabric--

I think we calculated it,
it would be half a million pounds.

You need to put something out
to address it.

Because if you don't it's like you're

I think with Molly, she feels,

That was the first moment
I thought this is just madness.

It's hard to watch people
verbally destroy you.

We tried to learn a lesson
from the Love Island days,

of not reading what people write
or anything else. But it's very difficult.

and there it is.

And I only have to read
the headline to know

that I couldn't even
face looking at the article.

And quite often,

I scroll straight past
'cause I can see how negative it is.

Before Molly went
into Love Island she said,

"Dad, here's the login
to my Instagram account."

And she said, "Whatever you do, Dad,
don't read the DMs."

Of course, I made the mistake of
ignoring that and read the DMs,

and some of them
were just absolutely vile.

I guess that's the world she's in.
That's the life she's chosen.

My whole coping mechanism
with the last few months

has been to focus on that, like, we'll all
hopefully get back to a better place.

it is what I focus on.

The positive part of my life right now is
that Tommy and I are working on things,

and things are going
in a more positive direction.

I think, like, if things were in a really,
really bad place with Tommy and I,

and I have all this drama
going on with maebe,

like, I genuinely think
I would just have a breakdown.

I think one way to describe
life at the minute is,

I feel a little bit out of control
with everything.

Everything with the press is
kind of weighing me down.

The maebe stuff at the minute is
just causing me a lot of anxiety.

And then, like, today
I'm trying to focus on, like, Filter,

but there's always other stuff
to be thinking about.

To be perfectly honest with you,
I think what's getting me through

is the hope and the idea that Tommy and I,

we will end up back together.

All I want is for us to work.

It's obviously been a bit of a dark cloud
over maebe since launch.

It is a big issue.
I'm not happy with it at all.

I don't really know
what we're going to do about it right now.

And it's really not a nice place to be,

especially when you're a young person
that is gonna make mistakes

and isn't always going to get things
a hundred per cent right.

When I land, I'm going
straight from the airport

into a meeting about all the blazers.

I need to fix things
before I make things worse for myself.

Difficult conversations,
I can't bear to have them.

I don't ever really say
how I properly feel,

which is stupid.

It feels like it's really hard to, like,
explain that part of my personality,

but it's something
that I just really struggle with.

There was a fault with the fabric,

So, I think with maebe, I really don't
want that same situation to happen

where I constantly don't actually talk
about how I really am feeling.

I get a bit frustrated with sometimes,

is that I feel like
no-one really understands

the, like, immense amount of pressure
my whole entire career is literally under

because of these blazers
that are bobbling.

And it's to a point now where, like,

every single thing with maebe, like,
can affect my other collabs.

It can affect my whole job.

So, like, I have to damage control myself.

I understand
from a business perspective, for you…

As much as I get completely
what you're saying,

I would love
to absolutely not say anything.

It's my business at the end of the day,

I need to, like, put my big-girl pants on
and actually step up a little bit.

that I am a very strong person.

the most important period of my career.

and we have a bit of a plan in place for
what we're now going to do moving forward.
