Branding Uyghurs as terrorists.

This was the escalation to impose strict policies

to make it legal to arbitrarily detain and kill Uyghur people.

Then this kind of high tech surveillance started.

Using cameras.

Facial recognition.

They set up a working group to examine every person

every family.

To check who has travelled abroad,

who ever signed a petition,

ever protested for anything.

They categorised the entire population

as normal,

suspicious,

and untrustworthy.

They built the biggest reservoir of data ever collected.

Every Uyghur aged over 12

must go to the hospital to provide a "health profile"

DNA,

fingerprints,

iris scan,

facial recognition from various different sides of their face

and also voice recognition.

They had to read 20 times one paragraph of a newspaper

establishing bio data,

and then the computer can automatically give a result

whether you are normal,

you are suspicious

or untrustworthy.

Those who they believe, potentially are untrustworthy.

Not even dangerous,

potentially

have to go to these so-called "re-education camps".

they completely re-engineer them.

So the Uyghur people were given two choices:

You either become a Han Chinese person

or

you die.

They are taking our lands away

to give it to the wolves.

Evangelicals are coming into our lands

to divide our people,

erase our culture

and now they want to take away our souls.

I want to tell Bolsonaro:

Respect our life.

Respect our territory.

Respect our rights.

Respect our ancestors.

We will not give up our lands.

Because we are here to fight.
