Discharged in '89, and then worked
in package delivery for 20 years.

There's not a lot of money in that.
Fifty grand was probably stolen.

for a civil servant.

His coworkers think he may have
cooked the books to line his pockets.

So Langston kidnapped Bryant
because he's a corrupt official?
