has ever happened to Era Three,

so we need to make sure

their era's losers.

When it comes to Cara,

Sometimes that's
what I feel like it is

To begin, one of you is going to
be playing offense...

the offensive person's job

is to score their ball

in the goal in the middle.

The defensive player

has to keep them from doing that

by any means necessary.

will win tonight's elimination

and stay in the game.

the biggest discomfort
I find in this elimination

have been really good friends

I watched the Joss and Derrick
elimination from years ago.

I always knew that Derrick
was good at this game.

After going in there with him,

Derrick is great.

-Drive, Mark!
-Use that body!

Whoo!

I mean, the guy,

for his size and the way

he can maneuver himself

and position himself...

I did a somersault at some
point, but anything I did,

he had a countermove for,

and at the end of the day

- I was spent.
- Time! Time!

My forearms are on fire,

and, uh, yeah,
in this particular elimination

I feel like youth and experience
actually playing the game

worked in his favor.

I gave my best,
but at the end of the day

he really beat me tonight,
so I have no excuses.

Derrick, I love you
like a brother, man.

I hope you get to continue
and take this thing

all the way to the end.

I think the thing
I'll take away most

is, um, just getting
to experience this game again

with some of my best friends.

I started this game
in my early 20s,

and I'm 52 now.

I'm really proud of that.

I don't want it to stop,

so if I can stay healthy

and I get the call,
I will show up

with my uniform on
and ready to give 110%.

Just to be here is a blessing.

And, uh, especially on,
you know, season 40,

to be able to rep Era Two,
to be a representative.

I'm very honored

to hold that title.

Now, at the age of 40,
never thought I'd be doing this.

I haven't been on the show
in a long time,

and I'm glad that y'all saw fit
to choose little old me.

I am not excited to go home.

I didn't fly all the way
out here for no reason.

Just gotta find
the silver lining.

Life isn't always fair.

You just learn
and you keep going.

And what I've learned is:

I gotta get better
at unknotting chains?

But Leroy's dumb ass
messed around

and got eliminated
tonight, too.

That's like my brother

great people here.

This elimination was definitely
the cherry

on the sundae
of eliminations for me.

I went against, like, one of
the tallest, strongest girls

who probably have ever played
this game.

I was so shocked
when I got the first score.

I was like, "Oh, my God!"

I heard everybody in the stands,

where they were like,
"What the...?!"

I can get scrappy.

I do have a lot of heart. Like,

I have a lion inside of me.

And, unfortunately, I just
constantly go up against

girls that are bigger
and stronger than me.

"you" to Era Three.

Cory and Tori are not
gonna last.

I think everyone sees them
for who they are.

They're always flip-flopping,

they're always
switching friends.

And you know what, friends?

When you make new relationships

every season,

there's a problem with that.

Sometimes you just can't be

the fastest or the strongest

or the biggest, but...

I gave it all I got,

and unfortunately
it wasn't enough tonight.

Somehow, some way,

The Challenge always convinces
me to come back, so...

You know, there's a quote

they get punched in the face."

I had a great plan of what
I thought I was gonna do, but...

...Tony was way too strong.

He literally manhandled me

in that elimination round.

I couldn't move

as fast as I thought
in the sand,

and once Tony wrapped up
with me, it was a wrap.

There was really nothing
I could do.

Dead ball!

When it was my turn to go
against him,

him charging at me, he was just

way stronger.

Like, way stronger than me.

Definitely a weird feeling,

because I've never been
into elimination round first.

I never went home first.

I don't even know
if this is real.

I'm gonna pinch myself and see.

If we did this ten times,
it probably would

turn out the exact same way.

Like, Tony just has way too much

power for me.

I'm bummed about it,

but I get to go home
to my family,

Kingston, Aria and Kam.

I know that she's gonna
open the door

and welcome me with open arms.

You'll definitely see me again,

but you'll probably see Kam
before you see me.

I think we're gonna alternate.

I'm gonna go home
and try to rest and recoup.

Maybe lift some weights
and stop all that running.

Tony, it was good playing

You absolutely deserve
