Novoland: The Castle in the Sky

- Episode 5 -

What other ways are you thinking of using to harm me?

Let me tell you, my status is not what it used to be!

It can't be higher than mine, the Emperor of Wingkind!

That's not absolute. When I marry Brother Tingjun,

I will become Humankind's Crown Princess, who will later become the Queen!

Wishful thinking.

I'm not! I heard Her Majesty telling Brother Tingjun

she wants to confer the Crown Princess title on me.

- Really? - Of course!

In that case, I really must have a proper celebration!

Will you bless me sincerely?

I'm celebrating the fact that Bai Tingjun has found a troublesome woman!

In the future, it'll definitely be the exhaustion of his destiny!

You- I'm not going to reason with you!

I'm going to look for Brother Tingjun.

Come back!

What are you doing?

With the Stars Court's convergence of spiritual influence of heaven and earth, the blessings of the Gods,

the wine is buried underneath the vegetation here. Then after several years of fermentation

it definitely becomes a pure wine of soft, aromatic and lasting aftertaste.

Did you add poison?

Peach Fairy flowers and leaves, West uncultivated yeast, and syrup from East Haiyuan county.

This earthen jar has the convergence of Lan continent's best essence from the extreme south to the extreme north.

It's truly a premium item from the human world.

You really know how to enjoy!

Who says this wine is mine?

Then whose is it?

Of course, it belongs to Master Guxuan!

Xing Guxuan, the old urchin, will never refuse any alcohol or beauty.

Five years ago, he secretly buried the wine here.

Since I saw it, the wine is mine!

I knew it! You wouldn't be that nice to ask me to drink wine!

How dare you steal Master's wine! I'm going to expose your deed!

Wait!

What are you going to expose?

Did I put a knife to your neck to force you to drink the sip you had just a while ago?

- You! - I only asked you if this wine tasted good.

Since it tastes good, why restrain yourself?

I wish you and Bai Tingjun a long and happy life together.

Actually, I now realize you are not such an annoying person.

- Really? - Yes.

Master Yufei told me this while he was dressing my wounds.

He said while you were giving me those seven lashes as punishment, superficially you looked very fierce,

but in fact, you were lenient.

If not, how could I have healed so quickly?

Also, look at Yu Huanzheng.

Although he has been banished from the discipleship,

Stars Court is not as proficient in its methodology of working mechanisms.

So, it's conversely better for him to be out of it

and in a new environment.

Also, about Brother Tingjun and me,

we have come this far, all thanks to you.

You don't find me annoying anymore, but I find you extremely annoying.

Hey! What did I do to annoy you?

Didn't you say I'm demonic scum? This is what a demon is like.

When others are happy, I will not be happy.

Why does my heart beat so quickly?

My head is almost splitting!

Did you add poison to my wine?

You are so good at coming up with plots, why don't you write a book?

This wine has a huge after-effect. Who asked you to guzzle it down that way?

Isn't this a happy occasion for anyone who encountered it? Give it to me.

- You're not allowed to drink anymore. - Give it to me!

- I'm not letting you drink it! - Give it to me!

Actually, I know all about it.

Eating Sky Grass...

it's actually of no use. No use.

Yi Fuling!

Yi Fuling!

Brother Tingjun...

♫ Wind blows, flowers fall, but the flower instead rode the wind ♫

Really so heavy.

♫ One chord, one pillar, one branch, one leaf, in the end, it's a splendid year ♫

♫ Endless forever, who is forever ♫

♫ You are still in my heart ♫

Wait!

Please give your order, young master.

I... want to give you something.

What are the two of you doing?

Didn't you say Stars Court does not have any red beans?

A red bean is for conveying lovesickness. Whether there is or there isn't

that depends on the person's heart.

Don't you understand by now?

This bracelet is made by me personally, bean by bean.

I can only give it to the one I love.

The one you love? Then what about me?

What am I to you?

Ever since we were young,

I've always loved and cared for you like my biological younger sister.

If I did anything to make you misunderstand, then I'm sorry.

But Her Majesty the Queen has already given me the title of Crown Princess.

You overheard my conversation with my mother?

Then you should also know that I've already rejected her.

Is it... Is it because of her?

I'm sorry.

You don't need to say you're sorry!

It's all my fault! It was my own unrequited love!

It's me who should be saying sorry!

It's hard to put into words all the suffering in the world.

I'd rather you misunderstand me.

You...

My Lord, you don't need to say anything.

This red bean bracelet will never really be mine.

You hurt her, but your heart

is hurting a thousand times more than hers.

Miss Yi.

Her Majesty the Queen has requested to see you.

Reporting to Your Majesty the Queen, we have brought Yi Fuling here.

Aren't you going to greet Her Majesty properly?

You may rise.

Let me take a good look at you.

Similar. Very similar.

Read the scroll aloud.

Yes, Your Majesty.

The Heaven and Earth is in high spirits. Yin and Yang blending favorably. The leader of all beings.

Here is Maiden Yi, with name Fuling.

Warm, admirable, polite, virtuous, gentle, bright, educated, and with good morality.

She will be conferred the title of Crown Princess based on our Royal family's ceremony.

Giving the people a new start.

Yi Fuling, why don't you bow your head and show your gratitude?

Her Majesty the Queen's order, even Brother Tingjun can't disobey it.

But he doesn't have me in his heart, why should I force him?

Instead of letting Brother Tingjun be forced to obey the order, wouldn't it be better if I...

Thank you, Your Majesty, for your kindness.

But Yi Fuling can't become the Crown Princess.

Why not?

Everyone knows that the Palace is a lonely place. The consorts and concubines fight for attention and status.

I, Yu Fuling, don't want to give up my freedom.

So, I won't marry Bai Tingjun.

You dare!

Do you still have any respect for the Queen?

- Guards! - Here!

Take her away! Select a date for the conferment ceremony.

Your Majesty! There are millions of great girls in the world.

There's nothing going on between me and Brother Tingjun, for what reason are you forcing us?

Did you not hear what I said?

Yes, Your Majesty!

You--

Stop!

Tingjun?

Mother, please take back your order! Tingjun said it clearly last time,

Yi Fuling is crafty, unruly, and ignorant of proper etiquette. She's not a good pairing for me.

Marriage is decided by the parents. How can you be allowed to add any more absurd claims?

- Take them both away! - Yes, Your Majesty!

Then forgive me for being very disrespectful.

Go!

Stop! Why aren't you leaving?

You can't let her leave!

Let go of me!

Get out of my way!

Let's go!

Purple Dazzle Technique.

What? You even want to lay a hand on me?

Your son doesn't dare.

Shang City is big. Heaven and Earth is vast. But how come Royal Mother won't let Ling'er go?

You idiot!

Father, why are you here?

Promise me, no matter what happens next,

you must not come back here again. Leave Shuang City and go far as you can.

Go inside!

Hearing the phoenix sing, deep and somber...

Take one's lover to travel together.

Father, you're really amazing!

Stars Court has so many secret passageways,

how do you know about them?

Because these were all designed by me.

We've got to hurry.

This is the final mechanism.

Beyond this is already Yimaping Valley. There won't be any danger anymore.

Then let's hurry and go.

Jishu.

You're really still alive.

Jishu?

Long time no see.

Take off your mask!

There's no need.

Our hatred for each other runs deep. If only we'd never met in this life.

Since it's like this, why did you walk through this secret passageway?

Because I knew you wouldn't bring anyone here.

And if it's just you I have to go against, I'd still have a chance of victory.

Looks like you long knew that I was going to wait for you here.

In this world, the people who understand each other the most

often aren't friends, but enemies.

Enemies?

What a great enemy!

Ling'er, go quickly!

Father!

It's you.

Go!

Go!

Father!

- Go quickly!- Father!

Father! Father! Father!

The mechanism has been destroyed. You know that this door can't be opened ever again.

So actually, as it turns out, you were waiting for me in here.

Jishu, so many years...

You never left Shuang City all along.

Many thanks for opening this up. To let us father and daughter safely pass through after 18 years.

Father!

Go, quickly! She's not able to do anything to me.

No, I have to look for people to help me.

Master!

Junior sister, that slip was quite severe.

Come, I'll help you.

Thank you.

I'm sorry.

What are you doing?

So sorry. Do you know why that tree

grows so well?

Because below it is buried a humankind disciple

that trespassed Wind Smoke Pass three years ago.

But since you're quite pretty,

don't be angry.

What are you doing?!

Master, this enemy that came to our doorsteps...

When did it become your turn to deal with my enemies?

Yes.

Why are you here? Aren't you supposed to prepare for your wedding?

I can't marry anymore.

Why?

Could it be that Bai Tingjun realized it and doesn't want a troublemaker like you anymore?

- It's not like that.- Then it can only mean that you were lying to me earlier this morning.

I knew it. What kind of sight does Bai Xue have?

How can she choose a Crown Princess like you for no reason at all?

You wouldn't have planned to cheat me of my wine from the start, right?

Don't say anymore.

No way.

I must let you drink some more so that you can throw up all the wine that you owe me.

- Let me go.- If you're hurt and sad, you shouldn't show it in front of me.

- I am an evil monster and a scum. Don't think that I'll take you in.- I, of course, know that.

Even if I die, I won't die here in your place!

Sure.

Then you better do what you said.

I don't have time to talk nonsense with you.

The four of you! No one should mind her.

- Did you hear me?- Yes. We won't also bully her.

Don't look anymore. Let's disperse. Let's disperse.

Ms. Yi, take good care of yourself.

Feng Tianyi! What are you doing?

Yi Fuling! You stupid fool!

Come out!

Master, what is it?

Go and find Yi Fuling.

Master, didn't you ask us not to bother her earlier?

Stop talking rubbish! Go!

Yes.

Sit down.

Are your injuries better?

Looks like, just for that Yi Fuling,

you really are contradicting me.

I just don't understand.

Why must you insist on making her a Crown Princess?

Then why do you insist on not marrying her?

No one can know one's child better than the mother.

For her, you fought with me publicly.

I naturally know her position in your heart.

Royal Mother, I never begged for anything from you since I was little.

But this time, I want to beg you

to let Yi Fuling go.

Since you love her deeply,

why can't you marry her?

I can't love her. It's because I can't love her,

that I cannot marry her.

Tingjun, love is the most vague and unreal thing

because it can change.

I don't care if you love her or not.

But you must marry her.

Because this concerns the future of our Shuang City.

No room for discussion.

Come with me.

What is this?

This is your future.

It's also the Humankind's future.

Sky City.

This was made using the design plan found in the 'Abyss of the Sea and Sky'.

There were thousands of construction workers

who used 10 years of their heart and blood in making this.

Every inch and foot of this thing

is dyed with the heart and blood of our humankind.

Royal Mother, what does this have to do with Yi Fuling?

Yi Fuling... is this lifetime's

God of Shooting Stars Flower's reincarnation.

Ling Er, you really are different.

Mother, I know that the Shooting Star Flower spirit is flowing to circulate in the Shooting Star Flower pollen,

It can make the Wingkind fly.

But what does this and our Humankind have anything to do with it?

For the past many years, our Humankind didn't dare to contend for supremacy with the Wingkind,

just because we're not able to fly.

Now we have Sky City,

and the situation will change.

The Sky City inner core is this huge piece of power equipment.

It can instantly absorb a large amount of Shooting Star Flower pollen

and turn it into kinetic energy

and with it will fly upwards to the Sky City.

Just like a huge floating battleship.

Then the sophisticated Wingkind flying troops

also wouldn't dare to compete.

Mother, are you going to start a war with the Wingkind?

It's not me.

But you.

Tingjun, I want to let you become the true master of the whole world.

Now you understand.

Why you must marry Yi Fuling, right?

So long as the Shooting Star Flower spirit is flowing into our hands,

Sky City swiftly flying upwards is just around the corner.

Yi Fuling! Yi Fuling!

Miss Yi! Miss Yi! Miss Yi!

Miss Yi! Miss Yi! Miss Yi!

Miss Yi!

Yi Fuling! Yi Fuling!

- Miss Yi!- Miss Yi!

Idiot! Where have you been?!

Yi Fuling!

I simply had nowhere to go.

♫ I used half a lifetime to see the flower dance snow fill the whole sky♫

Fool. I let you run, and you're also really running.

♫ My half a lifetime used to love again♫

♫ whispering number of times♫

♫Paragraph string hold me, not distinguishing between day and night♫

♫ Meeting is always enthusiastic, while staying together for a life time is dull. ♫

♫ Carrying the zither, picking up the jaded steps, the voice isn't harmonized yet ♫

Stupid girl...

Up to this age, I've never taken care of anyone.

♫ The lover became the bright moon ♫

You are really the first.

♫ Flourishing in the other end of the world, at both ends ♫

♫ Wind blows, flowers fall; but the flower instead rode the wind ♫

Looking at you closely, you really aren't that ugly.

♫ One chord, one pillar, one branch, ♫

Who are you guys?

I am an imperial guard of the Humankind's Empress. My name is Xiong Tang.

I am ordered by the Empress to catch the Humankind escapee.

Hope the two of you can inform His Majesty.

Why will our distinguished Wingkind Emperor come out to see a person like you?

This is not a place that you can just come as you wish.

You have such big courage!

Arresting people on my turf now.

I hope Your Majesty can calm down.

We were only just following orders.

Someone personally saw Yi Fuling enter your Wind Smoke Pass.

Who saw it? Come out and say it.

Right. Stand out.

No one saw it.

Since it's like that, won't you hurry and leave?!

Would Your Majesty allow me to go in and take a look?

If Yi Fuling is really not in there, we will all immediately leave.

Are your words real?

All of it is true.

Then good. I'll also honestly tell you

that Yi Fuling is indeed in here.

Do you guys dare to go in and catch her?

Sorry to have bothered you. Let's go.

What? Yi Fuling ran inside Feng Tianyi's territory?

Could it be Feng Tianyi already knows that girl's identity?

Feng Tianyi is rude, unreasonable, and overbearing.

Will we forcefully attack the Wind Smoke Pass? May Empress decide.

No. Although the Stars Court

has always been under Humankind territory,

but the Wind Smoke Pass is Feng Tianyi's personal territory.

There's a difference.

Humankind and the Wingkind have always been living in harmony.

We cannot let people have something to gossip about.

What Your Majesty means is...

Take men to surround Wind Smoke Pass,

but don't take a step inside it.

I don't believe

that Feng Tianyi can let Yi Fuling hide there forever.

Yes!

- Master- Why are you guys here?

It's like this, Master.

Tomorrow will be the assembly day of the elite club.

But I don't feel good. Yesterday, I was having diarrhea the whole day.

I want to request for a sick leave.

I... I... My father came to visit me.

My mother... My mother is asking me to go home to have a meal with them.

Ah... I still haven't finished the assignment Teacher gave me.

Then how about you?

I... Since everyone's not around,

why don't I just get Ms. Yi some medicinal herbs in the mountain,

so as to help her recover quickly?

All of you get lost.

Get lost. Yes. Get lost.
