I like to be in America.

My professional career started in New

York City on the big Broadway stage.

My Broadway debut was

West Side Story in 2009, and

then I continued performing in other

Broadway productions

such as On Your Feet,

The Gloria and Emilio Estefan Musical,

Hamilton, created by

Lin Manuel Miranda.

And you can currently

catch me in The Great Gatsby.

My passion for performing

didn't end just on the stage.

I wanted to further my

career in TV and film.

So I was fortunate to be a part of

Orangeis the New Black as a reoccurring role.

Annie Valdez shows such as Law and Order,

SVU, The Blacklist, Let the Right One In.

And you can catch me currently in the new

season of The Equalizer.

One of my biggest

accomplishments so far, I'd say,

is being a part of Steven Spielberg's

remake of West Side Story.

Where I was a featured shark girl named

Charita, an incredible experience,

one of the best experiences of my life.

And you can catch me now in

the new film called Noche Buena,

which is a Puerto Rican holiday rom-com

film where I play Jennifer.

My advice to aspiring artists and

creatives is to never

limit or give up on yourself.
