now comes the fun part

where we get to start creating Facebook ads

and getting traffic to our coloring books

so there's a couple things we need to do this

get traffic to our coloring books

so we're gonna go ahead and do that

so if you don't have an ads manager for Facebook

if you've never on Facebook ads before

now you'll just go to Google type in Facebook

adds manager

and then just simply click on this and then start

now go through the process

log into your Facebook

with the process of setting that up

I'm not gonna get into the

showing exactly how to set it up

because it's changing every single day

like they they change the layout and everything um

so just go to Google and or YouTube

and then ask how to set up your ads manager

because in look for the most current video

cause it's always super similar

but it changes slightly

so once you have your ads manager set up

there's a couple things we need to do

so the first thing we need to do is

we need to create what's called a pixel

so we have our website right

we're in we're in our coloring book website

we need a way for face

our Facebook ads and our website to talk to each other

so that it can collect data

so the we need to install the pixel

but they changed the name of it so if you come here

inside your ads manager

might look a little bit different than mine

but it's all generally the same

so all I can all I'm gonna do is open up the tools

and this little hamburger

go to business Settings and I need to create

create a Pixel

but they changed the name of Pixel to a data set

so you should create your data set first

and then you set up your Pixel on your website

so on over here you'll have your account

business account selected on this left side

under data sources you come down to data sets

and then we're gonna create a data set

can call it coloring book

create

and we'll just go find it

coloring book and you wanna assign a partner

you need to assign a partner

not partner a person so give yourself access

full access so that when you're um

looking for it shows up

and then you need to assign an asset

so I'm gonna sign it to my manager

my as managers do the coloring books

now that person

in this case my wife has access to the coloring book

and then what we're gonna do is come over here

to all tools events manager

cause now we need to install that onto our website

so that it can speak back and forth

Facebook ads with our website

something to come here

let's look up our where we had it coloring books

and it should show up so we are here coloring books

waiting for activity cause it's brand new

so we're gonna set up our meta pixel

now once you click on it go to this thing right here

we're going to gather website events from browser

activity is the one we want

so just click set up Metapixel install code manually

copy that so click that to copy it

now we got to go to our

our landing page here and to our funnel

and under settings in the main area

so over settings of the whole entire funnel

we're gonna click that and then in the head tracker

we're gonna control V or command v

depending if you have a Mac or computer

and paste the pixel right there

and just look at the last three letters

last three numbers of the pixel

to make sure it's the right run

so 1 2 2 let's go to verify let's go continue

continue

don't worry about installing the code

go back

let's make sure we got the right pixel in there

so 1 2 2 is the last three digits

if you look right here

let's see where is it

where it is the coloring book 1 2 2 right

and I probably have a lot more than you have

so don't let this overwhelm me but 1

2 2 is the correct one

now we want to save that

and we need to do some one more thing

so we're tracking purchases

so Facebook

now that we have the pixel on our landing page

on our on our website

Facebook can now read the data that is going on

on this website and we need that to happen

because we need to be able to track where cells are

coming from

so we need something called a purchase code

so that every time somebody lands on a specific page

or buys our product

it triggers a Facebook and it shows uh

which add that cell came from

so we can track and see what's going on as far as like

where ads

where cells are coming from so we can scale that ad

look for winning ads etc etc

so we need to be able to put a little

code that will tell Facebook that somebody purchased

so the Pixel allows Facebook to uh

read data from this from our landing page

the purchase code allows Facebook to know that hey

somebody purchased so

what we're gonna do is

we have our main landing page on the next funnel step

so right here on our up cell

we need to add the purchase code

because if you think about it logically

the only

way for someone to land on this page is if they bought

the original coloring book right

so they have to had to have bought or purchased

so we know for a fact if somebody lands on this page

it should trigger a purchase event

so under here so once you click into it

we're come up here to the tracking code go to footer

well

I so I do need that thought this was my live funnel

um so I'm gonna set up Pixel again

install commandnuly already installed it

but what I'm looking for is install event using code

and I wanna put this purchase code will use this one

and I'll put this in the shared funnel step

so that when you transfer it over this audit most

it will hopefully automatically be on that funnel step

but this is universal code

so everybody uses this exact same code

so you can just copy this code as well

so now I have that in the footer

so let me show you where I am again

on the landing page of the up cell up here

go to tracking code click on footer

look in Command V or control V

paste it in whatever your upfront product is

if you wanna track the amount you can do that

so I'm gonna say a marriage cart value is like $4 on it

will say that save

save publish update

okay

and that's all you got to do to put the tracking code

and so now

um this see where we're at Coloring Book

this is now gonna be tracking purchases that we have

and we can double check this by going to our funnel

we just click preview and there's a little add on

it's called

Metapixer Metapixel Helper

it's just a Chrome extension

you can just go Google

Chrome extensions and look up Metapixel Helper

and install it and it should show if you did it right

it should show there's a Pixel look

there's our Pixel 1 2 2

and it shows there's a purchase event on this page

so we did that right that's a good way to verify that

you didn't set it up correctly

so the next step is we need to start creating our ads

right

and the way we can do that let's just go back

so we're gonna be inside the ads manager now

and on Canva com

so I just use Canva to to create all of my ads

if you look right here

I just use all the

the free templates and free everything or the

I'm on the pro version of the paid

and it's hundred percent worth it

to get access to the entire library of

of elements and content and graphics

and it's super nice let's come here

let's find my ads there we go

so these are my ads that I made

I just took the coloring book that AI made

and plopped it on this

I just picked a background or template

you can play around with it

come here and say um

book back ground or anything or just background

maybe not book too specific

and she's one of these cool things

let's build an ad so I'm gonna do is

let's just duplicate this so it's the same size

I want to keep it square

you don't have to let's just put play around this one

this is kind of cool

kind of meets that artsy Pastelli feel

that is uploaded the coloring page

coloring book that AI made

right just plopper right in the middle

bring it down a little bit

maybe right here we can put um

our special offer we're gonna try $1

special offer put that up here

maybe change the color

maybe give it some shadows or something

just play around with it you can't really go wrong

there we go

is this centered yeah

and let's make it

let's put some color pencils if you want

go to elements type in color pencils

just to give it some maybe try something like that

it's kind of cool

maybe on the side

ooh it will copy that on the other side

to frame it in nice

kind of cool and then we'll just save that

done download it okay

so now we have an ad that was simple as that

we can start creating our ad

so when we set up our ads

we're gonna come back over here to the ads manager

and after we already

we already set up our our data set our pixel

now we're gonna come back over here to all tools

click on Ads Manager

Yours might look a little different

because these are my shortcuts

so the other way to get here is click on all tools

come down here to Ads Manager

once you use them enough it'll create a shortcut

so they're just right there for you

and then you're gonna click on your

your business page that we're gonna run it out of

and we're new coloring books

so we're just gonna create a new ad by selecting

Create New Renewed for go for sales

manually do it

I'm gonna call this coloring book creative testing

next

just organize I'm gonna call this ad one

make sure it's a website

select my Pixel that I created

so it's this one my 1 2 2

make sure you do the right one and we added purchase

we're going for purchases

don't worry about this that there's set up

set up a air anything like that

you need some data so don't worry about that

let's

let's start with whatever you're comfortable with

I like to do so I'm gonna have um

three different ads running at the same time

and each one's gonna I'm gonna say spend $10

so $30 per day on this one

you can spend $5 a day you can spend $1 a day

whatever it is you're comfortable with

right now

we're just trying to get data and information

so we know what people respond to

as far as our ads go if we need to pivot

if we need to change our our coloring book image

our test on our landing page

um to start getting sales consistently

so I'm gonna say $10 a day

we're gonna set up for tomorrow morning at 3 a m

so that it can spend that $10 throughout the entire day

instead of just blitz it

right now I want to run the entire day

so tomorrow at 3 a m

leave all this the United States

and then advantage audience

use original

I'm gonna go after I'm gonna go after a women

women detail targeting let's say they have to like cats

right cause I'm doing a cat coloring book

it's a cat food because they like cat

if they like cat food they most likely have a cat

and then I'm also gonna define further

and let's do crafts

it to like craft hobbies so it's a huge audience

so I have about 32 million people I can show this ad to

which means if I find a good pocket

I could scale this fairly large

click next

and so now I'm gonna start creating my ad

so I'm keeping this organized

so we have our campaign level

which is like the campaign

so if you look over here

this is the campaign inside the ad

the campaign we have our ad sets

we're gonna have three different ad sets in this case

or as many as you want three to four to five to 10

but three to start

just so I can use my three ads inside my ad set

this is where you specify your targeting right

I did $10 a day going live tomorrow if you excuse me

I'm doing women interested in cat food

and cats defined further

so they must also match the criteria of the like

crafting

and that's as in depth as I wanna get

then on the ad level

cause each ad set for right now is gonna have one ad

so I'm gonna call this ad one

so that it's just nice and organized for me

let's do a preview on

um and so you need to create your Facebook page

if you don't already have one right here

you'll just create one um

and then go from there

so we created one we'll call it Cat Mama Circle

come down here we're gonna add our medias

we're gonna add the image that we just made

go to our downloads

oh so that's a video may resave it

okay we get upload

that new image

that's good looking at look at that looks so good

maybe the ratio

I will keep it like large next next done boom

there's our image of our ad looks super professional

but little do the people know

I made it inside of Canva

really basic

okay so now on the copy or the

the words that appear here in the primary text

I'm gonna say

hey fantasy lovers hey hey French bulldog owners hey

you know so call your ideal customer out

we wanna make sure we send people to the landing page

the first page and it's this link up here

to make sure it sends to the place you want to send

people and if you look right here boom

and that's it and then that's done right

we have one ad per ad set

so right here we go back to the ad set

we need to duplicate this

cause we wanted to test out three of our unique ads

to see which one works the best

so we're gonna be

we're gonna highlight it under the ad set level

duplicate we're gonna do it twice

name this too

when delete the image and use our other image we made

let's do another one

and all we're gonna do is change the image

to start testing out which images best for now

okay I'll keep adding

let's do this one

there now we have three different ads ad sets

each ad set has one ad and they're all different

we're gonna see what our audience responds to the most

which one makes them go to our website and purchase

once we find one that works well

then we're gonna create similar ads to that

until we have five to 10 winning ads

and that's how we're gonna keep growing this

and snowballing this

and then we're just gonna click publish

and that's all you have to do

we literally just built out the entire landing page

we built out our ads our ads are going live tomorrow

and now we sit back and wait and see sales come in

where we're gonna see if cells come in

is if so on your phone

I highly recommend this is click on go

download the stripe app in the App Store

and log into your stripe

um so you can start getting notifications on your phone

if the cell comes in

that's a really cool way of making sure like

hey cells are consistently coming in

you get that ding on your phone for example

like in the notifications

like those are all striped notifications

of sales right

and they come in and it's fun to watch that happen

so there you go

now it's just how much how many things we can test

how many different options or coloring book pages

different bump borders playground with up sales

we just want to test test

test to get our average cart value up

and keep testing our ads using Canva to create new ads

to see how low we can make our cost prequisition

once our cost

prequisition is lower than our average card value

that's all profit right

and that's what we wanna scale is the profit okay
