You know, when you have, like, these flashing moments,

like people say when they're dying? I literally saw my sister's face.

I saw all the, like, points I'd made

through this competition. I was like, "I am not going home.

"I'm going to be in that final."

And you did it, you're here!

There have been people in this competition

who've seen the crown on their head from day dot.

I never thought about it until now.

How do we write to that?

We should think about, like, all the challenges we've done

and try and incorporate some of the funny runway looks,

things that have happened. Yeah, referencing.

So for my lyrics, I'm channelling some of

my iconic moments here. It's really hard to pick

because there's been so many.

I'm going into this quite level-headed, but the pressure

is on a little bit because it's an original song,

it's never been done before and we need it to be show-stopping.

So I always think La Voix is incredibly deluded.

She always thinks she's this huge star.

So I think I'm going to channel this like, you know, Vaseline-lensed

smoky studio, but like, everything goes wrong.

I want the wind machine to go in my face and stick to my lip gloss.

I want to stay true to me in the lyrics.

I want it to be comedy and just something that sums up

the whole competition for me, in two words,

because that's all we've got, really.

Ha-ha!

I've got a few ideas.

I definitely want to take that little rap section, I think.

Marmalade, my goodness.

I got to tell you, in your audition, I had no idea

that you would be as amazing as you are.

I love that. I've got here and I've, like, discovered so much.

How important was it that you presented your looks?

My day job, I make clothes for other people.

But I was finding myself getting stuck

in making other people's dreams come true.

So a lot of it was for me to have that moment to say,

"No, I can do that, too."

And there were so many times where I thought,

"Well, I'm wasting my time.

"They're not going to see this little detail that I'm putting in."

And the fact that you appreciated every bit,

I felt so...validated.

Now throughout this competition, when you look back,

what makes you laugh the most?

It was you saying my mum's name. Aw. And she walked up and she went,

"I'm waxed head to toe. I'm ready."

And I was like, "That's my mum."

And it was amazing because I was waiting for a badge

for quite a while, and I was like getting my first badge

with my mum watching... Aw. ..that's the win.

And you're Welsh? I am Welsh indeed.

Proud to represent Wales in this competition? Very proud.

When I walked in and I saw Actavia I was like,

"I wanted to be the only Welsh one. How dare you!

"How very dare you!"

But no, I love Actavia. Because I'm South Wales, she's North Wales.

Culturally, very different places.

I'm glad that both are being represented.

So then, my darling, what would it mean to you to be crowned

the UK's next Drag Race Superstar?

I really do feel I represent such a wide breadth of British drag.

I think I represent Cardiff and Wales amazingly, and to bring

that crown into the Prince of Wales pub in Cardiff, get a round

with it on my head and then fall down the stairs pissed

would be just sensational.

Kyran, you came into this competition guns a-blazing.

What's been a personal highlight for you?

Just to say that I have won Snatch Game is just beyond

my wildest dreams.

We've seen Elvis impersonations.

I've never seen one like that before.

I just think I've always kind of just had a bit of a weird brain,

and it feels like a huge strength to me.

What's been the toughest part for you, Kyran?

Last week, like, threw me for a loop.

I've only ever had lovely critiques

and then kind of felt a little bit like whiplash.

I know that you've been very confident

throughout this competition.

Were you surprised that that happened?

It surprised me more than I was expecting,

how I kind of got in my head.

Sitting here talking about your confidence.

It's not traditionally British, is it?

No, it's not.

I have been told, actually, my confidence is much more American.

But I don't know. I've always been, like, of the opinion,

you don't want to see a self-conscious drag queen. Right.

There's a fine line between confidence and cocky, right?

So I really think that I've learned that over this experience.

Where did you get that strength from?

Me and my mum, we went through a lot.

And a lot of things that happened kind of

made me start to not like myself.

And she would always tell me to tell myself that I love myself

and that I'm talented.

My mum is the strongest person...

..in this entire world.

I've just always wanted to repay her for everything

that she's done for me and everything that she's given me.

She is my hero.

She is.

She will be proud of you. Oh, yeah.

We are all proud of you.

What would it mean to you to be crowned

the UK's next Drag Superstar?

It would mean everything to me.

I just want to show young people that are growing up in a place

where the odds are stacked against them...

..if you work hard and you love yourself, you can do anything.

What makes your drag you, and it's good.

I'm so proud of it.

I adore what I do, so I think it's my own doubt of,

"How long can I keep doing Liza?"

What was it like to have your father here with you?

You gave me a side of my dad I've never seen.

He was just... He was so funny. He was.

He said to me at the end, "I want to go home and just have a big cry.

"This has been the best day of my life."

What was the toughest part for you in this competition?

Believing that I'm...

I've got this far because of my talent.

With experience also comes knockbacks and rejection.

I think I got so used to, "Not this time."

And I think I just accepted,

"I'm 43, maybe I'm not going to get that break."

So...this blows my mind.

you are going to host a television show.

I don't know what happened before, but in my experience,

my life really began at 40.

Which of course begs the question, what would it mean to you

to be crowned the UK's next Drag Race Superstar?

It would propel me to an absolute new beginning.

Doesn't matter how old you are, you can reinvent yourself

and go back out there and share that gift.

By the way, you're not old. Right. No, I'm not old. OK.

But it might get me the crown if I say that.

I remember your audition tape.

Do you feel you've shaken your association with Rihanna

in this competition?

I think yes. The challenges that you guys threw at us,

being able to be silly, to be weird... Yeah.

..to explore my drag in a different way.

There's so much more to you... Yeah. ..than being sexy.

Rileasa represents a period in my life where I was like,

"OK, these are all things

"that have scared you or you've been, like, bullied about."

Like, "You're too effeminate. You're too this."

I know growing up in the islands,

it's not very easy for especially effeminate young boys. Yeah.

Like, my mum's a Jehovah's Witness and so I grew up in the faith.

Like, on one hand, I am grateful for it cos it gave me, like,

some sort of moral steering.

But also, there was a confliction with me

when I was hitting the age of 11 where I was like,

"OK, I kind of know who I am," and sort of, like,

feeling like who I am is a sin.

Yeah. And I remember going to bed at night

praying to wake up not gay.

And I feel I'm still peeling those layers.

Like, even having my sister here, that was, like...

That was, uh... Was it?

Yeah. I'm very close to her,

but at the same time, I think

there's a part of me which was so scared,

if people knew who I was,

maybe the love you have for me is going to change.

Let me tell you this. You crossed those lines. Yeah.

That's the beginning. Yeah.

That's my prize, coming out of this.

Knowing that I actually, without realising, have so much love

surrounding me that I've just not allowed it in.

So what would it mean to you to be crowned

the UK's next Drag Race Superstar?

It's crazy because I never thought it would be possible.

But I also know from this process, if it didn't happen,

which probably sounds wrong to say,

for me, right now, I already have a crown.

You are such a beacon for all the people who are stuck in places

where they're not accepted.

not scared of anything, pushing myself into new challenges,

and mainly just having more fun.

I am, of course, here to do a very important job

Still hanging on to the last few seconds of it

I was like a dishcloth that had been wrung out by this stage.

Yeah. The adrenaline is just pumping us through.

I was terrified of our final performance

cos we all know I'm not exactly a dancer.

But, you know, you've just got to dig down and find it,

because you never know. Yeah. Yeah. You never know until it's over.

Knowing that a winner of Drag Race

has had all the same concerns that I'm having right now,

it lets me know that I absolutely deserve to be here.

But I must say that some of my best memories

of being in this big pink box of dreams are from this last day,

because it's a chance to sort of reflect a little bit.

Do you feel like you've all bonded well?

Yeah, cos no-one else really knows what the experience is like

in the Werk Room. The pressure, the fun, the laughter, the tears.

Now you have a ready-made set of sisters.

And we're all your sisters as well.

It's not just the ones that you've had on your series with you.

We're all bonded by this thing now. Yeah. Yeah.

So any time you need to lean on someone,

just reach out to one of the other queens.

Outside of here, I don't get to spend a lot of time with queens,

so to be here for ten weeks

and to get to know these girls as artists and as human beings,

I'm so grateful to have sisters in these queens now.

What was the first thing you did when you finished and you got out?

Sleep for about a month. That's what I did. Oh, gosh.

I'm glad I did because I haven't slept since.

You know... Yeah, of course.

The train doesn't stop from now on, girls.

And then the real fun begins!

There's an excitement in me now.

I'm really looking forward to what is on the other side of this.

Kyran started out so strong at Club Tickety Boo.

Just was so fully ridiculous and fully committed

that I knew that this kid was something special.

You know, Kyran Thrax fascinates me.

It's always something slightly unexpected.

There was so much anarchy in there.

It was subversive. It was iconoclastic.

It was everything that made drag fun.

I love that imagination. I love that creativity.

Was able to take direction, but also hang on to the essence

of what Kyran is, which is really brilliant.

I loved getting to peek inside of that imagination.

All right, let's talk about La Voix.

You could line La Voix up with all of those young kids,

and you could look at her and say, "Mm," but her drag never felt old.

It felt true to who La Voix is.

Every single challenge, La Voix just said, "Hold my beer!"

She sort of had, like, this Mary Poppins bag,

which she would dip in and bring out one-liners.

It's nice to hang out with your fans, isn't it?

I'm so thrilled at La Voix being in the final four,

because she represents UK drag in the classiest way possible.

She has invigorated her creativity and her career,

and I think that all of the world

is going to be interested in hiring her.

The world is her oyster at this point.

All right, let's talk about Marmalade.

Marmalade is a look queen. I mean, and what a beautiful look.

It's like when drama, theatre, history, couture, drag meet. Boom!

She was created. And the piece de resistance,

she made them all.

I love the way her mind works.

I find her intriguing.

I'm always watching her. She's funny.

You knew she was a cerebral queen with that poetry.

But the fun has come out. It's an eyebrow, it's a smirk,

it's a twist of a phrase.

I think there's even more fun to be had with Marmalade. Yes.

Rileasa. She was charm personified.

Week one when she came out, "Oh, I'm allergic to cloves,"

and she's biting her lip, rolling around the floor.

I thought, "Oh, here we go."

But you know, I was proved wrong.

Rileasa struggled at times in this competition.

That's what's actually pushing her

into the next chapter of her life.

It's more than just talent.

It's more than showmanship. It's trusting.

And I feel that Rileasa has a new-found faith

that is really boundless.
