came and took the starstone from our village.

As per the king's demand,

a blacksmith known as 'Thekkumpadan Kollan'

mixed the starstone with some secret ingredients

and crafted a truly exceptional lamp.

A lamp possessing the power to control

rain, wind, thunder and lightning!

Later, that lamp turned out to be the reason

for the prosperity and glory of the Edakkal dynasty.

How did that lamp come back to our village, then?

Yeah!

It was a valiant hero who brought it back!

Once the king of Edakkal faced a big threat.

A gutsy sea trader named Pulimuttu Mammad

started giving the king quite a headache.

The king's son-in-law, Mana Varma, went to confront Mammad,

but ended up falling into his clasp!

He's demanding the authority to collect taxes

from Nelleri to the west, till Kaalimukku.
