Some of them Beales snuck
up on the place in the dark.

The next morning,
this is what we found.

We figured your Pa and the rest
didn't have a chance.

off fightin' somebody else's war.

It still ain't too late
to settle the score.

Pulled up stakes
and quit the valley...

We heard they was
figurin' to latch on

to one of them wagon trains
headin' for Oregon or Californy.
