(menacing music)
(blade slashing)
(eerie music)
(static fizzling)
(machines beeping)
(phone ringing)
- It's growing a bit faster than last month.
- [Sarah] Anything we can do?
- Well, I've been doing some research
and I've consulted with a few of my colleagues.
- So
that's a no then.
- [Doctor] Any new symptoms, anything unusual?
- Unusual, like?
- [Doctor] Like nausea, vomiting, headaches, fainting.
- No.
Nothing.
- [Doctor] Okay.
(intense music)
(phone ringing)
(car engine rumbling)
(phone ringing)
(door slamming)
(Sarah coughing)
- Miss, are you okay?
(menacing music)
(eerie music)
(water trickling)
- [Grandmother] Hello is someone there?
- I'm sorry.
I think I must have dialed the wrong number.
- Who are you trying to reach, dear?
(door knocking)
- [Woman] No, nothing.
- [Grandmother] Well, I just got this number,
I changed my service.
I don't even remember it myself.
- [Woman] I'm sorry to bother you.
- Who is it?
- [Cassie] It's Cassie.
- Fuck.
Go away.
- I'm not leaving, babe.
Open the door.
(door clicking)
Are you gonna let me in?
Wow, I love what you've done with the place.
(door banging)
- Don't.
- What is going on with you lately?
I call you every fucking day
and I haven't heard from you for weeks.
Did you forget to pay your cell phone bill again?
- [Sarah] I just wanna be left alone.
- Look, whatever it is, we can work it out.
We're a team, remember?
- [Sarah] Right.
(fridge door slamming)
A team.
- I thought you didn't drink.
- I don't.
- Okay, can we just cut the bullshit?
Is there somebody else?
Please tell me it is not that bartender
with the Morton Salt girl tattoo.
She's had her eye on you for a month.
- No, no, it's...
- What you're sick?
- It's a little more complicated than that.
- Is it this?
'Cause I told you it doesn't bother me.
I kinda like it, actually.
- [Reporter] KCPD is investigating the death
of a woman whose body was found in a ditch near 13th
and Troost early this morning.
Police say, 35-year-old Kristin Marie
was found dead shortly after 6:30 AM.
Investigators believe she was jogging alone
when she was attacked.
KCPD has no suspects at this time.
If anyone has any information to help authorities
in this case,
call the tips hotline at 9-1-3-4-4-4-T-I-P-S.
(eerie music)
- When I was in high school there
was this girl named Crystal Mossman.
She was head cheerleader, she gave me
so much shit.
She used to TP my car,
covered it in syrup and woodchips once.
So one night she was parked at her boyfriend's.
He was a big football star, he was such an asshole.
So I took my brother's baseball bat
and I smashed in her windshield, side mirrors
and head lights.
It was a total mess.
- You're a badass.
- The thing is though, I don't remember doing any of it.
I woke up the next morning in bed
and there were cops in my parents' living room.
I guess there was surveillance there then
caught me red-handed.
- Is there a point to this story?
(soft music)
- I've had this disorder since I was a kid.
Doctors thought this shit was just some weird birthmark
or something, but over the past few years,
it spread just enough to start to worry my folks.
So doctors did more tests and
it turns out that I have two sets of DNA.
I think the technical term is chimerism.
Basically I was supposed to have a twin sister and
just didn't happen, I guess.
- Whatta you mean it didn't happen?
- I
absorbed her.
- Ew.
- And over the past few weeks
this thing has gotten
a lot worse.
Now, I feel like my body isn't even my own.
I have nausea and blackouts two, three times a week.
I can't remember where I was, who I was with.
Nothing.
That's not even the most up fucked up part.
Every night that I've had one of these blackouts,
someone in the area has gone missing or worse.
(Cassie laughing)
- Worse like dead?
Come on, Sarah, that's crazy.
Even for you.
- I hope you're right.
I need you to do something for me.
Can you promise me?
- Yeah, I promise.
- I need you to watch me over the next few nights
and if you see anything out of the ordinary.
- Like what?
- I dunno,
but if I'm the one doing these things
I need you to find a way to...
- To what?
- [Sarah] Stop me.
- Sarah, you know I hate guns.
Is this thing loaded?
- You promised.
- Okay.
Fine.
I will call the bar and I'll take a few days off,
but keep this away from me.
- Fair enough.
Thank you, Cassie.
(eerie music)
(water trickling)
(Cassie sighing)
- What are you doing, girl?
You really know how to pick 'em.
(menacing music)
(Sarah gagging loudly)
(terror-stricken music)
(Sarah breathing heavily)
(light clicking)
(door clicking)
(creepy music)
(sirens blaring)
(horn honking)
(engines rumbling)
(bin thudding)
(menacing music)
(Cassie spluttering)
(Cassie coughing)
- Sarah.
- No.
(Cassie groaning)
I knew you and Sarah were up to something.
I was always listening.
(horn honking)
All those nights together.
And you know it wasn't me.
Could've killed you so much sooner.
I just didn't wanna leave a mess in our apartment.
(Cassie groaning)
One more kiss
for Sarah.
(Cassie sobbing)
(Cassie groaning)
(engines rumbling)
(menacing music)
(door banging)
(wine trickling)
(menacing music)
My name is Beth.
My name is Sarah.
(Sarah coughing)
No.
No, no, no, no, no.
(intense music)
(Sarah groaning)
(Sarah breathing heavily)
(Sarah yelling)
(fast-paced creepy music)
(intense music)
(lights fizzling)
(eerie music)
- I gotta unpack everything and I'm pretty beat,
you guys have fun.
All right, I'll see you guys tomorrow.
