As a young girl, I thought I'd have that fairy tale life.

So I went on a quest for it.

But it turns out, mine was no fantasy.

So, I just had an epiphany just during the show,

- and I went up to Jenny... - Yeah.

...and you can, like, vouch for me on this.

So I used to watch Ellen DeGeneres all the time,

and there was this one girl, and she was super inspiring.

She had a real, I would say, significant moment in her life.

And then I remembered that she had a documentary

that I watched with my mother called "Unstoppable," right?

- If I'm right, and I'm just kind of guessing-- - I love it.

- This is Bethany Hamilton. - ( crowd cheering )

what was the most challenging part about being the Macaron?

Oh, my gosh. I mean, for sure, singing.

Like, obviously, you know, I'm more of a wave rider.

But it was really cool to do something

that is out of our comfort zone and have fun with it.

- And I did that, and I had so much fun. - Yes!

So much fun. She rocked it, right?

What has that journey taught you,

and how do you continue to just inspire so many?

Oh, my gosh. Well, to me, being unstoppable is not about being perfect.

I'm a mother of four, and some days you get to the end of the day

and you're just, like, wiped out.

And so to me, it's getting back on your boar and paddling back out,

even when you feel discouraged, even when you feel down,

and just knowing that you can overcome.
