During which, Escanor's finger pierces straight through Zeldris' body.

An era before the human and non-human worlds were forever divided.

In the battle over the fate of Britannia,

not even the gods could determine what was to come.

Even so, the conflict rages on.

and protect the future of those they hold dear.

The reasons for that are quite simple.

They're exceedingly strong,

exceedingly fast, and exceedingly tough.

If it's not a magical power,

Doesn't that mean they don't have any weaknesses?

[Merlin] In plain terms, yes.

However, if they don't have a weakness,

we'll have to create one ourselves.

That's pointless. Bluffing isn't going to work against those two

integrating them into multiple different magical attacks.

My primary objective was to deduce

which element is most effective against each of you.

For Chandler, it's the lightning.

And Cusack, the wind.

Now, the purpose of the second wave of my magic

was to considerably decrease your resistance to those elements.

And, furthermore, it comes with yet another added bonus.

With each strike of my Infinity, your resistance continues to decrease,

bit by bit.

[Ludociel] Impressive.

I'll have to be careful not to make an enemy of her.

with both lightning and wind magic that gets automatically triggered by you

every time that you attempt to cast a spell

or make any sort of move to attack.

This magical power can continuously activate,

thus the name "Infinity."

[Ludociel] What… what is this? I've never seen such bizarre magic.

[Merlin] I'm not quite sure myself.

To each type of magical attack,

I added in components of invisibility, imperceptibility, and automatic tracking,

then combined them with my Infinity.

[Ludociel] Now that's foul play.

Okay, but I'm still confused. When did you actually cast it?

When we were fighting Zeldris,

while teleporting us all away from the Dark Nebula.

[chuckling]

[Gilthunder coughing]

please perform a healing miracle for him.
