[Episode 27]

[Prince Heir's Mansion]

[Deed of Divorce]

Looking back on the day we bowed to the Sun and Moon,

we joined hands as a divine couple.

But the red thread was mistakenly tied,

and names were wrongly engraved on the Three Lives Stone.

Though the divine light remains,

our marital bond has dissolved.

Now,

may you reapply your makeup,

[By Prince Heir Yue Qin] wear your golden hairpins,

and enjoy spring

as you form a new union.

Is there news from the High Priest?

Rest assured, Your Highness.

The High Priest has gone to see the King,

and news will come soon.

Forgive me for prying,

but you haven't rested

since your return

and are already handling the divorce.

Once my father agrees to the divorce,

Mei Lin will be free.

I don't understand.

You love the Princess Heir.

Why divorce her?

The Snow Dragon Whisker

is a heavenly chance,

and she has let go of the past.

The flower will soon bloom.

After she is cured,

if I were

to fabricate other reasons

to force her to stay in the palace,

that would be taking advantage of her gratitude.

What about your feelings?

Shouldn't you at least tell the Princess Heir?

If she still bears the responsibility of being Princess Heir,

confessing would burden her.

Only after the divorce

can she truly be Mei Lin,

free to choose her own path,

staying or leaving.

Given all you've done,

in my humble opinion,

it may not be the right time for divorce,

especially since she just let go of Prince Jing.

It might be better

for Miss Mei Lin to stay longer,

increasing your chances.

I am not competing with Prince Jing.

I want to win Mei Lin's heart.

Your Highness.

How is it?

Congratulations, Your Highness.

The King has agreed to the divorce.

I informed the King

that the Moon Kunlun goddess's power

had left Mei Lin,

and the King wasn't suspicious.

General,

the King has agreed to the Sun Kunlun's divorce.

It seems the gods

support me this time.

Tong Zhihui.

Tong Zhihui reports to the patrol camp.

Pan Xinlin.

Pan Xinlin reports to the patrol camp.

We revitalized Qingzhou's commerce

and won back the people's hearts.

My lord,

Qingzhou has truly revived.

It's not easy to revive a city.

There is a lot more

we need to do.

Once the border trade

and defenses are settled,

His Majesty may urge you to return to Zhaojing.

The reconstruction of Qingzhou has just begun to show progress.

Frequent official changes

would destabilize the people.

My Father will understand.

Mei Lin.

Mei Lin reports to the patrol camp.

Forward march!

The Snow Dragon Whisker

should be blooming soon.

Have the wandering healer

check Mei Lin's pulse

and ensure the poison is gone.

Yes.

[Deed of Divorce]

The Deed of Divorce is here.

Now

you are no longer the Princess Heir,

but Miss Mei Lin.

This jade ring...

Do you know in Xiyan,

a jade ring is used to confess...?

No, I mean this...

The Deed of Divorce is...

This jade ring is...

Anyway,

I mean...

Mei Lin,

ten years ago,

I met you in the Qingzhou mine.

Your image

has stayed with me since.

Actually,

I...

[Deed of Divorce]

Your Highness,

Mei has fainted.

The poison is acting up,

and the Snow Dragon Whisker has been taken by Mingju.

Your Majesty, please.

Is this

the Snow Dragon Whisker?

Yes.

It is a holy plant from the Sacred Mountain.

Just smelling it can make one's mind wander.

If it's eaten,

it will make one immortal.

You can't.

Father,

the Snow Dragon Whisker can't be eaten raw.

You are preventing His Majesty from achieving immortality.

Do you want to rebel?

Arrest him.

Father, please understand

that the Snow Dragon Whisker

must be combined with special herbs,

prepared, and then consumed

to grant longevity.

Knowing that His Majesty is searching everywhere for the herb,

you tried to hide the whereabouts of the Snow Dragon Whisker.

What is your intention?

Father,

the Snow Dragon Whisker

was found by me for you.

You concealed it first,

and now you say you want to present it to me.

I did conceal

the Snow Dragon Whisker for a personal reason.

I knew I had found

the wrong Moon Kunlun

and felt guilty towards you.

I wanted to present it to you

after it is prepared

to make you happy.

Apart from that,

I have no other intentions.

Please calm your anger, Your Majesty.

Your Majesty,

the Snow Dragon Whisker becomes edible after it blooms.

After I interpreted the celestial signs,

I told His Highness

that the Snow Dragon Whisker

need to be prepared with a special herb.

The special herb

is the Sun Kunlun.

It must be personally prepared

by the Sun Kunlun during peak Yang energy

for the divine herb

to grant longevity.

Father,

I'm willing to endure 49 trials by heaven

to prove my innocence.

If I succeed,

it will prove my loyalty to you.

At that time,

I will present the Snow Dragon Whisker to you personally.

Begin the execution.

There is a divine revelation.

The deities are angry.

Could the Prince Heir be innocent?

Please, gods, calm your anger.

Father,

my loyalty has been proved.

Please return

the Snow Dragon Whisker to me first.

Your Majesty,

the High Priest

died.

Your Majesty,

historical records mention

a High Priest punished by heaven

for deceiving the King,

leading to sudden death

on the spot.

The celestial signs indicated

that the High Priest angered the gods.

The High Priest's death

was a warning from the gods.

Please, gods, calm your anger.

Please, gods, calm your anger.

Please, gods, calm your anger.

The High Priest was murdered.

Please, Father, see this clearly.

Murdered?

All the subjects present

saw heaven punish the High Priest

on behalf of the King.

Now, you defend the High Priest...

Were you colluding with the High Priest

to deceive your Father?

Father.

Alright.

Considering that you

endured the trials by heaven,

I won't strip you of your title.

I have attained longevity,

with herbs available for preparation.

The Snow Dragon Whisker

is mine in the first place.

Why can't I eat it raw?

Father, you can't.

If you continue with rebellious thoughts,

this will be your fate.

No, Father!

You can't.

You can't.

[Not Too Late]

The Princess Heir's pulse is weak and floating,

indicating poisoning.

The sudden onset of the Momai poison

suggests she has been overworked

in Qingzhou or recently fell ill.

If untreated,

it will destroy her organs.

Your Highness,

now the antidote is lost.

What should we do about Mei?

There must be a way.

[Not Too Late]

Your Highness.

Your Highness,

the Great Shaman might have a solution.

I know the dark arts of blood.

We need compatible blood for a transfusion,

but it's dangerous.

My lord.

Any news from the physician?

Does Mei Lin still sweat

or lose her appetite frequently?

- How many hours does she sleep? - My lord,

the physician has just arrived in Xiyan,

no news yet.

No.

Send a visiting card to Xiyan Palace.

I won't be relieved until I see Mei Lin well.

Yes.

[Prince Heir's Mansion]

The blood insect is ready.

After the blood transfusion,

the Princess Heir will wake up.

Mei Lin,

you are awake.

Are you feeling any discomfort?

Your Highness.

You went into a coma due to the poison.

Fortunately...

Fortunately, the Snow Dragon Whisker bloomed.

The poison in you is neutralized.

I remember

when the poison acted up,

my internal organs

seemed to be burnt by fire.

The poison in me

has been neutralized?

I survived?

It's all in the past.

Come on.

Thanks to you

that I survived.

Thank you for saving my life.

Mei Lin,

you are free now.

[Deed of Divorce]

When you recover,

I'll send you back to Qingzhou.

Just rest well.

Your Highness,

what's the matter?

Are you injured?

A minor injury from a few days ago,

but nothing serious.

It's a pity

about the Qingzhou Knot.

Once stained with blood,

it can't be cleaned.

I'll make a new one

and give it to you.

Okay.

Have a good rest.

Let us out!

Let us out!

The blood is not compatible.

Take her away.

Let us out!

- Next one. - Let us out!

Mei Lin,

if you knew the truth,

you wouldn't forgive me,

would you?

Found it.

Your Highness,

even if I can't help you,

I hope you can be happy.

The Blood Slave technique can't cure the Momai poison?

Miss Mei Lin fainted due to the poison acting up.

Using a Blood Slave to exchange blood

only extends her life by three months.

Only the Snow Dragon Whisker

can fully eradicate the poison.

Snow Dragon Whisker.

Yes.

I'll find another Snow Dragon Whisker.

I can save Mei Lin.

She only has three months left.

After that,
