let's talk about judging an image and judging harshly

okay

I want you to understand that

an image can be good enough to upload

but in your mind it has to be

you have to leave a mental note for yourself

that you don't wanna keep making that mistake

and the reason why I even mention this is because

we don't think like robots

we don't think in binary we don't think in yes or no

we think in gray areas we think in spectrums okay

if I have a spectrum of greatness for an image

I look at an image like this

let's see let's

let's pull something out together

I look at an image like this and I say

this image is great it's a good thing

the way that it's compiled

the way that it's done it looks good

right

but when I look at an image like this from far away

I say it's I say it's good

but when I click on it I start to pick out the errors

I start to see the the pixelation

it almost doesn't look clear

it almost looks blurry in a way

things start to I start to pick up on things

the reason why I mention that is I'm looking at just

just the prompt here I

I didn't do any prompt alteration

I didn't do anything and I don't want you to think that

this is the only aspect stock photography

cause it's not at least using AI

it's not it's not just picking images

I could potentially take these 4 images

and upload them

because I don't like to waste resources however

this is a big however in my heart and my soul

I know this is not gonna perform nearly as well

as some of the edge other images will why

because it's truly lacking

if I was to be honest within myself out of 10

I'd give these

on a good scale a 4

if we were giving the amateur level scale

the people who try to upload and don't succeed

for those people this is an 8 or 9

but for somebody like me who's tested and tried and

and sweated in this business and worked really

really hard I give it a 3 or 4

and you have to be harsh with your ranking

you have to be honest with the way you judge things

because

if you expect massive amounts of success for yourself

you need to expect that from your work

you need to expect that from the results that you

bring forth and in this effort right

I look at images

and I can clearly point out which ones are phenomenal

and which ones aren't

and images like this are just not it for me

they're not the level

of which I would be truly proud of

to be honest if I look at an image like this

I would say you know what

I am proud of this image in my heart

I truly am but in my heart about this image

although it's okay it's not something I'm proud of

I'm not proud of putting something like this on my site

on my profile so I would not be happy with that

even if it got approved so yeah

I might just upload it just for the sake of uploading

but truthfully is that really beneficial

no and that comes back to the core principle of

we're not here to spam we're not here to upload trash

we're here to truly make a difference

and upload stuff that people are

truly going to want to download

and that's why success matters

and really if you had to spend the first three months

being ultra specific and wasting

quote unquote

wasting time being the picking the right things

I'd rather have you waste time picking the right images

than just upload trash

trash trash

and not develop a keen eye to what

the differences between good and bad okay

that's very important
