Three hundred years ago,

the Queen of the Demon Alliance brought chaos to the world.

The Dragon Clan of the Eastern Sea and the Kunlun Fairy Palace joined forces to suppress her

and sealed the evil spirit of the Demon Queen in my body.

Unexpectedly, the evil spirit fought back.

At a critical moment,

the Young Master of the Fairy Palace sacrificed his life to save me.

Thus, he entered

the reincarnation cycle of the mortal world.

My name is Ruo,

and I am the Third Princess of the Dragon Clan of the Eastern Sea.

For three hundred years,

I've been looking for the reincarnation of the Young Master.

Finally, I met Wang Sheng.

[Love Without Permission]

[Fox Demon Cave]

How dare you!

You eat human hearts to increase your power.

It is unforgivable.

Surrender now!

Do you know I'm going through God's tests today?

So you seize the opportunity when I'm weak.

Cut the crap.

Take her down.

Do you want me?

Will you give me your heart?

The Dragon Clan of the Eastern Sea is in league with the Kunlun Fairy Palace.

Aren't you afraid of ruining your reputation?

Cut the crap.

Ruo,

let me help you.

Xiaoman.

Are you alright?

Ruo,

give the Chixuan Spirit Leaf to Xiaoman.

Let her become human,

and let me be with her.

You conspired with her to trap me!

He did it willingly.

Xiaoman,

I've done what I promised you.

You promised me...

What's the difference

between humans and demons?

Xiaoman.

Give the Chixuan Spirit Leaf to me.

Maybe I can leave you

his intact corpse.

Do you want to use the Chixuan Spirit Leaf

to become a human?

Stop dreaming.

The Spirit Devouring Formation.

Do you plan to

die with me?

[Three Years Later]

[Fanghu Fairyland]

Spirit Fruit.

Give it to me.

Who are you?

How dare you!

How dare you pick my Spirit Fruit?

Such a little ant.

How dare you!

Who are you?

Granny.

What?

Why do you say that?

Give it to me.

That's mine.

Why should I give it to you?

I picked it.

Do you want to die?

Ruo.

I told you to call me honey.

Be careful.

Ruo!

Chixuan Spirit Leaf.

Report!

Your Highness.

There has been a disturbance from Fanghu Fairyland.

It seems to be the power of the Chixuan Spirit Leaf.

The Third Princess should still be alive.

Your Highness,

should we report to the Dragon King?

Shut up!

But Your Highness...

Kick him!

Your Highness!

My dear.

Ruo, you're awake.

My dear.

You were the Young Master of the Fairy Palace.

You risked your life to save me

and fell into the mortal world.

This time,

it's my turn to protect you.

Grandma.

Do you know

how many difficulties I have gone through

to get this fruit?

God bless me.

I hope my eyes can be cured this time.

Of course.

Grandma, don't worry.

This fruit is very magical.

After eating it, you can see the sunrise and sunset,

flowers blooming and withering.

We're not blood-related.

In the winter when I was six years old,

if you hadn't given me a bowl of congee,

I wouldn't be alive today.

You're talking about this again.

Grandma.

Eat the fruit first.

Then take a rest.

Okay.

I'll eat it.

My dear.

To pick the fruit for Grandma,

[Ruo's Mansion]

I had no choice but to use the Chixuan Spirit Leaf.

The Demon Alliance and the Fairy Palace will find us.

It's my fault to get you involved.

My dear.

I'm not afraid of anything.

I want to be with you forever.

And we will never part.

I will protect you.

Stop crying.

Ruo.

It hurts.

He is looking at us.

Cut me some slack.

I haven't beaten you these days,

and you come to trouble me.

How dare you hurt my husband?

You've deceived our father all these years

and just found such a man?

This...

Come here.

Listen to me.

You need to go.

Hurry up.

Your fake death can't be concealed.

The Demon Alliance and Dragon Clan are looking for you everywhere.

Does our father know about this?

Not yet.

But,

you've used the Chixuan Spirit Leaf.

Do you think

you can keep such a big thing hidden?

I faked my death after the battle

- just to be with him. - Fine.

I'll help you keep it from our father.

But you still need to find another way.

You can ask our master for help.

He's been ordered by our father to find you.

Master Wen?

He is weird.

I don't know if he will help me.

He likes you the most.

He must be on your side.

My dear!

Ruo, I can't see you.

If I can't see you, I can't catch up with you.

If I can't catch up, then I won't chase you.

[A Ruined Temple Outside the City]

You, a little fox demon,

really lack discipline.

I am working for the Demon Queen.

If you dare to touch me...

What a coincidence.

I'm looking for the Demon Queen.

[Hall of Demon Alliance]

Your Majesty!

Stand up.

Demon Queen,

we have prepared a special gift for you.

You look handsome.

Should I

braise your heart

or steam it to eat?

Neither.

My dear.

I'm here.

Don't be afraid.

The Third Princess is here.

I miss you so much after three years.

I don't miss you.

Why did you catch my husband?

I like your husband too.

What should I do?

Take them down.

Using Wang Sheng to trigger a fight between the Third Princess and the Demon Queen.

We can benefit from it.

Good idea.

Let's work together

to kill the Demon Queen.

What are you waiting for?

My dear!

My dear!

My dear!

My dear!

Master.

Go!

Wen Yao.

Is it uncomfortable to stay in the Dragon Palace?

Why do you have time to come here?

None of your business.

Everyone says that

I colluded with a disciple of Kunlun,

and killed the Dragon King's beloved daughter.

The Dragon King was so worried.

But the Third Princess is safe.

She didn't come out to explain,

because she fell in love with a mortal.

And she faked her death to disappear.

Listen carefully.

If the message leaks out,

you

will have a hard time in the future.

I'm leaving.

Ruo.

Do you want to die?

Ruo!

Don't do this, Ruo.

You can't do this.

Listen to me. You can't do this.

Chixuan Spirit Leaf

Ruo!

Allows demons to become human and cultivate immortality.

It can also resurrect the dead.

This is the only way to save him.

Ruo!

Ruo!

Ruo!

What a sin!

It's used to suppress the previous Demon Queen in your body.

She has been with you for three hundred years,

surviving by absorbing your power.

Without the Spirit Leaf,

how can you suppress her?

Master.

How many days do I have?

Seven days at most.

Your body will be completely devoured by her.

The consequences will be unimaginable.

Don't worry,

I will die with her

before she breaks the seal.

Silly girl, why are you so stubborn?

I have another request.

I hope that

he can live freely as before.

Please erase his memory.

Leave nothing

about me.

Ruo,

listen to me.

Although he saved your life,

it's all fate.

Why are you doing this?

Please allow me.

Ruo.

I heard

what you just said.

Since Ruo wants me to lose my memory,

I'll just follow her wishes.

Just a few hours without eating hearts,

and my face has become so aged.

You won't need to eat hearts soon.

Can we proceed with the plan?

The Third Princess has given the Chixuan Spirit Leaf to Wang Sheng.

You just need to take out his heart.

Once you get the Chixuan Spirit Leaf,

then you can

become human and cultivate immortality.

I wonder what love feels like.

She was willing to sacrifice for nothing.

I didn't expect to

see Your Majesty again

in my lifetime.

Boring.

Even the wine

is not as fragrant as three hundred years ago.

Ride the wind to chase the sun and moon;

Drink the liquor to fill the mountains and rivers;

Learn the Way to help the world;

Wield swords to slay demons.

It's no fun drinking alone.

Come on.

Let me drink with you.

Wen Yao.

Let's make a deal.

I'm not interested.

You know I just woke up.

I can't fight you.

But within seven days,

this body will be mine.

And my power will be back.

By then...

Ruo!

Ruo!

Ruo!

Are you alright?

Why am I here?

Don't you know

why you're here?

Why is it so fast that I can't suppress her?

How about I kill Wang Sheng now?

Master,

please don't say these things again.

Have you ever thought about my feelings?

I have.

Then why did you say that?

Because you never consider my feelings.

My dear.

[Wang Sheng's Dream]

Wang Sheng.

Wang Sheng.

So cold.

It's okay, Wang Sheng.

It's so hot.

Wang Sheng!

You can protect her for a while,

but can you protect her forever?

Master.

Master.

We can't stay here for long.

I'm afraid Wang Sheng can't stand the power of Spirit Leaf.

Let's go.

Rest assured.

Chixuan Spirit Leaf was given to Wang Sheng.

They can't take it away.

But,

even though she can't take away the Chixuan Spirit Leaf,

she can still take Wang Sheng's life.

Then I have no choice.

Wang Sheng is a mortal.

Even if he won't be killed by the fox demon,

it's hard for him to control the Chixuan Spirit Leaf.

Once the spiritual power leaks out,

it will surely attract more demons.

Master.

Come on.

Take him as your disciple.

Come on.

Have a seat.

I think

you two should quickly

end this ill-fated relationship.

You have your own destiny.

He has his own fate.

I have my temper and character.

You want me to take him as my disciple?

He doesn't deserve it.

Master!

You should worry about yourself.

In a few days,

you'll be gone for good.

You've really awakened.

Don't worry.

I know how to deal with you.

Did the battle between the Demon Queen and Wen Yao

go well?

You've been planning for years.

Today you can't wait any longer.

It's a few days late.

On that day in the Demon Alliance's hall,

if Wen Yao hadn't suddenly appeared,

you would have died.

You

want to be the Demon Queen?

You don't have to worry about that.

Shan.

Oh no.

It's the forbidden demonic curse from the underworld.

How dare you!

Do you think

I really care about the position of Demon Queen?

I have no intention of taking your lives.

I keep you alive

for my own purposes.

If you help me achieve my goals,

I'll lift the curse for you

and return your position as Demon Queen.

What do you want us to do?

You're up?

Who are you?

Where am I?

My...

Young Master.

Don't be afraid.

This is your home.

My home?

Ever since you suffered from amnesia,

your wife has been out looking for a doctor.

I'm Ruo.

I'm a caretaker hired by your wife.

My wife?

Why don't I remember?

I heard from your wife that you are destined to be together.

You saved her before.

But I...

It's okay. You'll recall it sooner or later.

Are you hungry?

I'll cook for you.

Ruo.

♫ Afraid I'm just a passer-by in your life ♫

If I could keep watching you like this

and spend the rest of my life with you,

I'd never leave you.

♫ After many twists and turns with no good outcome ♫

How nice would it be.

♫ Even more afraid of waking up from the dream ♫

♫ All wishes are unattainable ♫

♫ Only to die in loneliness ♫

♫ Can't wait for a promise ♫

♫ Not holding out for a right or a wrong ♫

♫ Only to love you, embrace the most beautiful thing ♫

Grandma.

♫ Even if it's a coincidence ♫

♫ Even if the past memories are erased ♫

♫ Still longing to be by your side ♫

♫ Unsure if I'm worthy ♫

♫ If I get married with you today ♫

♫ If I can love you for a moment ♫

♫ I'll never change my love for a thousand years ♫

♫ May I still be in your heart ♫

♫ Losing beauty and dying young, what's the regret? ♫

♫ Searching and seeking, what great fortune ♫

♫ Let me meet you ♫

♫ Giving you all of myself ♫

♫ If it means a brief encounter with you ♫

♫ Daring to take memories and never wake up ♫

You scared me.

I brought you food.

You're hot, aren't you?

It seems that the Chixuan Spirit Leaf

can only be taken out by the Third Princess.

But the Third Princess will die soon.

If the evil spirit devours him,

we won't have a chance.

Shan.

Keep an eye on them.

Don't be shy.

Come on.

My dear.

What's wrong, Ruo?

I'm your wife.

Didn't you say my wife went out to look for a doctor?

That's a test for you

to see if you behave when I'm not around.

Ruo.

What's wrong?

What's wrong with you, Ruo?

My dear.

Ruo!

Ruo!

Ruo!

Go away.

There is no much time

for her.

What do you think?

Wen Yao is really powerful.

It's hard for me to get close to Wang Sheng with him around.

But,

I know something.

Go ahead.

Wang Sheng lost his memory because of his rebirth.

And his wife...

Inform the Four Demon Kings.

My...

Young Master,

if I lied to you...

Why would you lie to me?

Since I lost my memory,

you're the one I trust the most.

It's okay if you lie to me.

Ruo,

what was I like before?

You were very kind,

honest and caring.

Sometimes, you were quite funny.

My dear.

Watch out!

Wang Sheng.

Ruo!

My dear, help me!

Miss,

just give in to me.

I already have a husband.

I'd rather die than marry you.

Be a good girl and come back with me.

Otherwise you'll suffer.

My dear.

Finally, I see you again.

Fox demon?

You've got the wrong person.

My dear.

A while ago, I went out to look for a doctor.

But I didn't expect to be taken by that general.

He forced me to marry him.

Don't you remember me?

Ruo was just taken away.

She showed up right after.

It seems Ruo must be in her hands.

I can only beat her at her own game.

Oh by the way,

I forgot you have amnesia.

I asked Ruo to take care of you for me.

Has she done her best these days?

You know I have amnesia?

You know Ruo?

You're really my wife.

Ruo.

I'm here to save you.

Be careful.

Master.

How dare you!

Do you know what will happen if you offend the Dragon Palace of the Eastern Sea?

We have never been afraid,

even if the whole world is against us.

Just the four of you?

The Spirit-Devouring Formation?

How do you know this formation?

The Demon Queen prepared it for this old man.

Master, hurry.

Anyone who enters this formation

will end up in a lose-lose situation

and be burned to the ground.

We fell into the fox demon's trap.

Master!

Master!

Master!

Everything is fated.

Take this pill

and keep it safe.

There are only two days left

of the seven-day period.

If you take it,

you can suppress the evil spirit temporarily.

Master!

Master!

Master!

In the next life,

I'll repay Master's kindness.

My dear,

I'll never leave you again.

I'll be with you every day, okay?

Good.

I...

need some time to get used to it.

Let me carry you home first.

Young Master.

Ruo.

Are you alright?

Come with me.

We have to get out of here.

Ruo.

Your hand...

Don't worry.

Let's talk somewhere else.

My dear,

where are you going?

Ruo.

My wife is back.

Aren't you happy?

Yes, I'm happy.

Ruo.

Thank you

for taking care of my husband for me.

Wen Yao must be dead.

Who will protect you?

I'm happy to see Wang Sheng.

If you want him alive,

you have to listen to me.

My dear.

Master must have gone back to practice.

Am I right?

Ruo.

So Master has gone back to the mountain.

No wonder Ruo is unhappy.

I'll go check on her.

This is the pill Wen Yao left to the Third Princess before he died.

Why is everyone taking care of her?

But,

it's a pity for Wang Sheng.

Do you really want to be Mrs. Wang?

This is a rare opportunity.

Don't be silly.

All your efforts will be in vain.

No need to say more.

I have my own plans.

My dear.

Come and rest early.

You seem

so restrained today.

My dear.

I am the princess of the Dragon Clan of the Eastern Sea.

You can call me Ruo.

I'm your destined wife.

If we weren't meant to be together in the previous life,

then let's wait for the next life

and be married again.

You can't catch me.

Wen Yao is so stingy.

He only gave you one pill.

Let's make a deal.

I can give you this body.

But you have to promise me one thing.

Things are different now.

This body

is already mine, isn't it?

Aren't you afraid that I'll take it back?

With your

current condition...

Since I sealed you,

I can deal with you.

If I really can't resist you,

I just need to break this body.

And you

will disappear with your body.

What deal?

Who are you?

I need your help.

Interesting.

Just say it.

I want to take your life.

It has long been said that

The Third Princess has the soul of the last Demon Queen sealed inside her.

It's you, right?

Since the Chixuan Spirit Leaf is not here,

you can take this body away.

Why are you pestering me?

No way.

I had a deal with her.

I promised her that

fulfilling one of her last wishes

would be killing you.

How about

cooperating with me.

You can use this body

to extract the Chixuan Spirit Leaf from Wang Sheng's body

for me,

and I'll return your position as the Demon Queen.

Stupid.

If I kill you,

the position of the Demon Queen will naturally be mine.

What qualifications do you have

to bargain with me?

Then it's no need

to keep you.

What did you feed me?

This is the pill Wen Yao left for you.

Yours was swapped by me.

This pill

can suppress the evil spirits in your body,

but it will also make your body and mind extremely fragile.

How could I not make good use of

such a treasure?

Grandma.

Grandma!

Grandma!

Grandma, you're scaring me again.

You little rascal!

Who told you to be so sneaky?

Come on.

Grandma, have a seat.

Sit.

Today,

I bought your favorite roasted chicken for you today,

especially burnt.

I knew you'd like it.

No wonder I smelled the aroma as soon as I walked in.

It smells delicious.

Compared to her,

I still prefer you a bit.

Even if you transform into a human,

Kunlun,

the Eastern Sea,

even the Demon Alliance won't let you off.

What are you really after?

So scary.

You were born as the chosen Dragon Princess,

adored by thousands.

How could you understand how I feel?

Heartbeats,

tears,

and love...

I lack all the things you have.

For a thousand years,

I diligently practiced the art of illusion,

without a single day of slack,

just to become human.

You didn't hesitate to sacrifice yourself,

using the Chixuan Spirit Leaf to mend Wang Sheng's heart.

But what did he do?

He fell in love with me.

Impossible.

You saw it.

He called me honey.

He even gently removed my clothes

on the bed

and...

He just lost his memory.

Don't you believe me?

Then you can ask him yourself.

Wang Sheng isn't like that.

All men in the world are susceptible

to superficial charms.

Wang Sheng

is just an ordinary man.

I don't believe it.

Why don't you try?

You can go to see Wang Sheng with my appearance,

tell him

you're not his wife,

and see how he treats you.

If he drives you away,

you win,

and I'll let go.

But if he still remains close to you,

then I win,

and you'll help me

take his heart.

I trust him.

Why did you suddenly come to see me today?

Are you worried that Grandma doesn't have much time left?

Grandma.

Don't say that.

You'll definitely live a long life.

Live a long life.

Live a long life.

Honey.

I saw you at home.

I guessed you'd be here.

I'm not you.

[Space of consciousness]

The fox demon was right about you.

Your Wang Sheng

is so heartless.

He was bewitched.

He...

Even now,

you're still lying to yourself.

As for you,

your love is so deep that

it's irreversible.

If he

truly cared for you,

it wouldn't be like this, right?

Enough.

If love is tainted like this,

I'd kill him

if I were you.

That's the only way to justify everything you've done for him.

Come.

Let me help you.

Mingming,

only if you die

can I become human.

Now, all we need to do is to take Wang Sheng's heart out.

If we can defeat the third Princess together,

your dream of becoming human will come true.

It's not the time to be foolish.

I don't want anything.

As long as he lives,

even if I have to oppose the Three Realms,

I'll protect him at all costs.

Shan,

do you remember

why

you cultivated for a thousand years?

Shan.

I

Fell in love with Xiaoman.

Just kill me.

I heard everything

you just said.

Since Ruo wants me to lose my memory,

I'll just obey her.

Who are you?

Where am I?

I'm Ruo,

the caretaker hired by your wife.

Why don't I remember having a wife?

Don't worry, Master.

The Chixuan Spirit Leaf belongs to Ruo.

I'll return it to her.

Please let me

accompany Ruo for a few more days.

By then,

I'll return the Chixuan Spirit Leaf to Ruo.

You two are too willful.

If Ruo gave you the Chixuan Spirit Leaf to you,

she should take it back too.

Master,

I will find a way.

Please teach me spells

to control the Chixuan Spirit Leaf

so that Ruo can rest assured.

Let's make a deal.

What deal?

Play a show with me.

Ruo.

My wife is back.

Aren't you happy?

You made Ruo think that

I'm infatuated with you.

So she can kill you

and take back the Spirit Leaf.

Why should I help you?

If I don't die, you won't get the Chixuan Spirit Leaf.

This is your only chance.

Is it worth it?

I am not your...

Wang Sheng,

Are you really willing to kill me?

Are you really willing to endure endless suffering

for a mortal?

Ruo,

if there was no fate in our past lives,

we should vow to reunite in the next life.

In the next life, I hope...

I've waited for you for hundreds of years

just to find you.

I faked my death in the battle with Xiaoman

to escape Kunlun and the Eastern Sea,

just to be with you in this life.

Why did you lie to me?

Is everything you did for her

worth it?

I'm willing to sacrifice myself

to ensure Ruo's safety in this life.
