[City R, Country Z, Southeast Asia]

Do you want to get rich overnight?

Come and play Stick Tiger Chicken.

As long as you can win,

you'll get rich overnight.

Richard has been dead for ten years.

He has stayed in heaven for ten years.

And somebody came and told him,

"Hey, your wife is coming."

Yeah, Rose just died.

She'll be here in about 20 minutes.

They're just gonna bathe her

"and put wings on her."

Honey, do you like my skirt?

Yeah.

Your skirt is very sexy and cute.

Really? Do I smell good?

You smell

like an Italian cherry cream cake.

You're such a bad guy.

Here is a social news report.

Recently,

the city has seen

multiple vicious attacks by an unidentified creature.

According to the police,

so far,

the victims have all been employees of Tiandun Security.

What the hell?

Although no one has been killed,

all citizens should take precautions.

According to eyewitnesses,

the unknown creature is fast, powerful,

and extremely fierce.

It looks

like a wolf.

Boring.

Who are you?

What the...?

[Fangs & Fury]

Hello.

Is there any news of the wolf?

We've picked up its trail.

You only have three days.

Bring it back to me in three days.

[Ten days ago]

Mr. Fu,

according to the test results,

there's no problem with the serum in the wolf's body.

With his serum,

I'm sure I'll develop the medicine soon.

When that time comes,

you will be cured.

His name is Yuan Bu.

He is an orphan

born with werewolf syndrome.

I optimized his genes

with GPN4 from abroad.

Now, all his physical stats

far exceed those of an ordinary person.

He's now

the star of Tiandun Security.

Genes like his are rare

not just in this country,

but worldwide.

Name your price.

I want

this guy.

However,

his genes are still unstable.

They are very likely to...

One million

dollars.

Deal.

Catch up with them.

The brakes aren't working.

Stop it.

Hurry up.

Sir,

he's gone.

Inform Wu Xin.

Got it.

Boss,

there are signs of a struggle inside the car.

I saw bullet casings and bloodstains on the ground.

But I found no trace of the wolf.

What should we do next?

Stay away!

Find it.

Er, at your 2 o'clock.

Si, at your 10 o'clock.

Outflank it.

Interesting.

Ting, can you fix it or not?

I'm almost done.

Ting,

the truck has broken down eight times this week.

Alright, don't rush me.

Fold your paper cranes.

Liu, let me ask you a question.

Go on.

Do you have a crush at school?

How is that possible?

Besides,

with Mom and Dad gone,

I'm now the only male at home.

My duty is to protect you.

So I don't have time to think

about my personal matters.

Then why are you folding so many paper cranes?

It's a secret. I'm not telling you.

A secret?

Why is there an extra screw every time I fix the truck?

Where is it from?

Never mind. It doesn't matter.

Fasten your seat belt.

What happened, Ting?

I'll check it out.

Weird.

What's going on, Ting?

Nothing. Let's go.

Boss, it's the blood of the wolf.

Here's the local news.

Yesterday,

there was another attack by an unidentified creature in the city.

- Though nobody was killed... - He's watching TV again.

- The incident has severely disrupted... - Liu.

The lives of residents.

The police are now investigating the case.

Liu, why are you still watching TV?

Ting, aren't I the only male at home?

Shouldn't I take responsibility

for your safety?

Yes.

Then isn't it right

for me to watch the news

and take precautions?

Go about your business.

Okay.

After an extensive investigation by the police,

the origin of the unidentified creature

has been confirmed to be related to Tiandun Security.

Liu.

Now...

- Alright, Ting. - Relevant executives of the company...

- I'll stop watching. - Have been controlled by the police.

The truth will probably come out soon.

I'm doing my homework now.

What a headache.

He's so hooked on TV.

Ting.

Ting.

- Liu. - Stay back.

Ting.

Ting.

Ting.

Ting.

Ting.

Wu Ting, I'm Ms. Wang from next door.

I just heard something being smashed

in your house.

Are you and Liu okay?

Wu Ting?

They should be inside.

Did something happen to them?

You scared me half to death.

Are you and Liu all right?

Stop probing.

It's none of your business.

You're so nagging.

- Do you think you're my mom? - I...

- You're so annoying. - I...

Go home now.

You can't even hear well.

Shut up. Look in the mirror, you ugly freak.

Your hair looks ridiculous.

And you had the nerve to come out and butt in.

I'm sick of you.

Just seeing you annoys me.

Bye.

Save me, Ting.

Ting.

Save me, Ting.

Save me.

Ting.

Let go of him.

I'll do anything you want.

Wu Ting.

Don't hurt him.

You ungrateful brat.

If I hadn't felt sorry

for you and your brother,

I wouldn't have bothered coming here at all.

How much have I helped

since you opened this flower shop?

And now you're acting like you don't even know me?

Do you have no conscience?

Do you think I'm here to cozy up to you?

And how dare you call me ugly?

From now on, you two can...

Are you here to buy flowers?

What a shame.

Such a cute guy

is deaf.

Stunned by my beauty?

How dare that stupid guy

leer at me!

Liu.

Boss,

I've searched around, but I couldn't find him.

Where is he?

Who do you mean?

Over there.

They asked me to call the police.

Quick.

Something must have happened to them.

Hurry.

Hurry up.

Ting, hold on.

Ting, open the door. The police are here.

The police are here. Open the door.

Something must have happened.

Officers, stop knocking on the door.

Just burst it open.

Where are they?

She just opened the door for me.

They... They are gone now.

Come in quickly.

Ting.

Let go of me.

Ting.

Ting.

Do me a favor.

Call an ambulance.

Boss.

Is he really that wolf?

It has nothing to do with us.

Our job is to get him.

Er.

You want to die?

Get out of the car.

Get out.

Buddy, this is my new car.

What are you doing?

I just bought it.

Drive slowly.

Stop.

It's dangerous. Stop.

Get out.

- San. - San.

Where is San?

Where is San?

Yes.

That's the guy.

Okay.

Based on the site and the information you provided,

we'll do our best to track him down.

If there are new clues,

please let us know as soon as possible.

Thank you for your cooperation.

I will be fully cooperative.

Don't worry.

I am a law-abiding citizen.

Every word I say

can be used as evidence in court.

There, there, Liu.

Ting,

I am hungry.

I'll get you something to eat. You're safe now.

Mr. Fu,

we've always followed the rules

in our line of work.

The person you want was blown up.

We failed to bring him back.

By rights, I should return all the money

you paid me.

But my buddy, San, died,

so I can only return half the money.

Stop it.

Sir, there must be another remedy.

[EMERGENCY]

Doc, is he recovered?

It seems so.

But he was badly hurt.

It seems so.

He was even shot.

It seems so.

Yes.

Then how did he recover so fast?

Well,

he is

right over there.

I'm confused too.

Based on current medical knowledge,

his rapid healing

is probably

due to abnormal platelet division.

However, the possibility of sequelae cannot be ruled out.

As for the exact cause,

further research is needed.

What,

do you not want him to recover quickly?

That's not the case.

So, Dr. He,

can we go now?

Yes.

Thank you.

The doctor said you were fine.

Let's go, Liu.

Bye.

Ting, why is he following us?

You're welcome.

Go home early.

Ting, why is he still following us?

Is he

attracted to my beauty?

Ting, what is beauty?

Am I not beautiful?

Why are you following us?

What a big eater.

Indeed.

Ting,

why are there other men's clothes

at home except mine?

What's your name?

Where do you live?

Where's your family?

Ting.

Didn't the doctor say that he might have sequelae?

Right.

He's probably turned dull.

But,

he is quite good-looking.

What a shame.

Ting,

what do we do now?

What else can we do?

Drive him away when he's done.

Ting, he saved us after all.

Maybe we should take him in.

No way.

That'd be dangerous.

We don't even know his name.

My name is Yuan Bu.

We can take you in.

But you

have to obey our rules.

Ting, since when do we have rules?

Be quiet.

Little brat.

First,

do not touch anything in the house

without my permission.

If I say stop, you stop immediately.

Second,

no loud noise or shouting.

Keep your voice down when speaking.

Third,

you must apologize on the spot

for causing trouble to others.

Fourth, don't lie.

Get closer to each other.

Closer.

Good. Straighten your backs.

Okay, smile.

Three, two, one.

Fifth,

practice good...

Don't touch that.

Get your hands off it.

Sit down.

You've broken the first rule.

Fifth,

practice good...

Ting, hurry up.

I need to take

Bu out later.

Fifth,

practice good hygiene.

No spitting.

Wash your hands before

and after eating.

Sixth,

help me with household chores.

Every day, you need to mop the floor, do the dishes, and do the laundry.

You'll also be responsible for watering, pruning, and moving the plants.

Bu.

- Bu. - Clean the whole house once a week.

You have to work hard.

You can't complain

or lose your temper.

Seventh,

don't let Liu watch TV behind my back.

Make sure he finishes...

Bye.

Little brat,

how could you sneak out like that?

It seems I have to add another rule.

No going out

without my permission.

I've made 1,000 paper cranes.

I can make a wish now.

What's your wish?

You have a congenital blood disease.

It is not uncommon,

but there is still no cure

for it now.

Dr. He,

how much time do I have left?

A few years

if you're lucky.

But once it flares up,

you may...

I hope my sister

will recover soon.

She's my only family.

Family?

Don't you even know what family is?

Family members

cherish and support each other.

Through good times and bad,

whether rich or poor,

in sickness and in health,

they take care of each other

until death separates them.

That's the idea.

Got it?

So,

if I make money for Ting's treatment,

can I be your family?

Of course.

Ting.

Ting.

Ting.

Ting.

Ting.

[DURING SURGERY]

Ting.

Ting.

Ting's condition

has worsened significantly.

- She could pass away at any time. - Ting.

She needs immediate surgery.

But the cost of surgery...

I'll pay

for it.

Do you want to get rich overnight?

Come and play

Stick Tiger Chicken.

As long as you can win,

you'll get rich overnight.

[Stick Tiger Chicken]

How much money can I earn by winning a game?

As long as you can win,

this money will be all yours.

So much money.

But

on one condition.

You have to sign this

before the match.

[Contestant: Yuan Bu]

Ladies and gentlemen,

welcome to the ring game

Stick Tiger Chicken.

First,

let's welcome our reigning nine-time champion,

Tiger!

Tiger!

Show me your hands

and give a round of applause

for the newcomer, Yuan Bu!

Yuan Bu!

Ladies and gentlemen,

please shout out the rules of our game.

No rules!

So,

how do we determine the winner?

KO!

That's right.

KO your opponent within the time limit,

and the whole prize is yours.

Today,

will Tiger

get his tenth win?

Let's wait and see.

The match starts!

Yes, something is off with him.

He won just like that?

What's going on?

What happened?

The newcomer is amazing.

Indeed.

Yuan Bu

won!

She is awake,

but her condition

has worsened too much.

We may not be able to save her

with the current medical technology.

You need to prepare yourselves.

Here's one flower.

I'll change it,

again,

and again.

Two flowers.

I'll change it,

again,

and again.

Three flowers.

I'll change it,

again,

and again.

Four flowers.

I'll change it,

again,

and again.

Five flowers.

Stop.

Stop.

Come on!

Go!

Bu, you must win.

Yuan Bu won!

Yuan Bu won!

Yuan Bu won!

Congrats to Yuan Bu

on winning his last ten matches!

Yuan Bu,

thank you.

Why are you

helping us?

I am an orphan.

I'd been bullied since I was a kid.

Just because I had werewolf syndrome,

everyone saw me as a monster.

They beat me

and bullied me.

Why is the world like this?

Why is the world like this?

Why do people hurt each other?

I felt like an orphan

abandoned by the world.

Until one day,

someone appeared.

She brought

a ray of light into my life.

Don't be afraid.

I'm not going to hurt you.

She showed me

that there was warmth

between people in this world.

It was the happiest time

of my life.

But then...

Sister.

After the death of my sister,

I was sold to Corky.

- He took me into a lab. - Let go of me.

And from then on, I became his money-making machine.

This necklace

is the only memento I have of her.

You remind me

so much of her.

Can I be a part of your family?

Fireworks.

Fireworks.

Ting, look at the fireworks.

Fireworks.

Ting, look.

There are fireworks.

So beautiful.

Some hunters came today

and asked for you by name.

Their offers are very attractive,

but I can see

they have bad intentions.

You'd better be careful.

[Fu Yi]

Let's go.

Yes, sir.

Ladies and gentlemen.

Today, we have a special game.

The players offered ten times more money than usual.

But they have a request.

No surrender

during the game.

It means the game

will be a deathmatch.

Come on.

Let's hear it

for our players.

Yuan Bu,

long time no see.

Time for you to pay

for San's life.

Yuan Bu!

Yuan Bu!

Yuan Bu!

Yuan Bu!

Yuan Bu!

San,

I'm avenging you.

You can't kill

this man.

I'll pay

for your buddy's life.

We were born poor.

We risk our lives to make a living.

You can pay us

to kill others,

but he has to pay

for my buddy's life with his own.

I've shown you enough respect.

It's up to you

whether to accept it or not.

It's just death. I'm not scared.

Back then,

when I brought the three of them into this business,

I swore

I wouldn't leave

them behind.

When the three of us

came here,

we didn't plan to get out alive.

He must pay

for San's life.

Since you don't appreciate my kindness,

I'll have to play hardball.

Corky's meddling

tainted the purity of Yuan Bu's blood.

Fortunately, I've cleansed his blood

and injected the seed into his body.

Once the seed fuses with the blood,

we can extract the serum

to treat your illness.

Something's wrong with the data.

Lower the blood pressure.

Lower it.

Keep going.

Give him a double dose of sedative. Hurry.

Thank you, Mr. Fu.

Without your help,

I wouldn't have escaped from the hunters

or gotten this pure serum.

What do you mean?

My friend has the same illness

as you.

Only Dr. Xia

can save her.

I joined the game

to let you find me.

However, some hunters appeared.

Luckily, you rescued me.

I know Dr. Xia is an expert

in treating blood diseases.

Only she can purify my serum

and enable me to save my friend.

That's why I said,

"Thank you, Mr. Fu."

You think you can escape?

Don't kill him.

You're not going anywhere.

As long as you're alive,

there's always something worth protecting.

Don't live just for yourself.

Today,

the mystery behind the multiple explosions

that caused citywide panic

has finally been solved.

The culprit has been arrested

and confessed to his crimes.

Okay, go over there.

I'll take it from here.

Alright.

Dr. He,

how's my sister?

She is recovering well.

It's a miracle

that you woke up.

It is a blessing for people with this disease all over the world.

We've arranged for blood specialists

to monitor your condition 24 hours a day

and see if there are any aftereffects.

But don't worry.

All expenses

during this period

will be fully covered by our hospital.

Thank you, Dr. He.

Fortunately, Yuan Bu arrived in time

and gave his blood to you.

But

based on his current condition,

he may not be able to wake up.

I'm sure

you will be cured.

Liu told me

what "family"

meant.

We will be there for each other

whether we are poor

or rich,

healthy

or sick,

until death separates us.

Ting, will he wake up?

Rest assured.

I'm sure

he will get better.
