[drumroll]

[cheerful electronic music]

* *

- [laughs]

- [whimpering]

Uh! Wah!

* *

- [exclaims] [frog ribbits]

[frog croaks]

- [laughing]

- Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!

* *

[car horn honks]

[toy meows]

- Ta-da!

- Ah! - Ugh.

- [chuckles] [whistles]

- Whoa! Ah!

- [chuckles] - Aww.

* *

[bright xylophone music]

[mobile playing tune, sheep bleating]

- [babbling]

- Stu, I have a confession.

I can't stand the tune on this thing.

- Me either.

But I guess we'll just have to get used to hearing it

echo in our heads over and over.

It's what parents do.

- Or we could donate it

to the Whole Child Center's school auction.

- Also what parents do.

[mysterious music]

* *

- Come see, Charlotte.

This whole box is for the auction.

Always glad to support the school.

- Thank you, Didi.

- Get a whiff of the diaper club.

- Angelica, why are they taking away Dilly's sheepy-spinner?

- Eh, it's for my preschool auction.

That's where they give away stuff

to whoever thinks of the highest number.

- The highest number I know is eleventy-seven.

- Won't cut it, Finster.

The auction people know really high numbers.

- Dilly loves that spinny thing.

I wish we could somehow get it back.

But I guess there's nothing we can do.

- Who do we know who's real good

at taking whatever they want?

- Don't look at me. I don't take stuff.

- Isn't that Tommy's ball?

- She makes it look so natural.

- Yeah, well... - [grunts]

- No more.

At preschool, it turns out

there's something to this whole "good behavior" racket.

I'm not missing out on a class reward

just to help a baby.

- Maybe you could get your own reward

while you're getting Dil's spinny thing back.

Something you might want?

- Like crowns and jewels.

- Meh.

- Brand-new toys?

- A monkey?

- Really?

Tell you what, I'll think about it.

[humming]

- This terrific train and tons of track is a treat at $10.

Do I hear 10? That's 10.

Do I hear 20? 20 for this tiny trip

through time. Do I hear 22?

Sold at $22.

[applause]

- Babies, gather 'round.

I've decided to help you get Dil's spinny thing.

- Wow, Angelica. Why?

- Gotta be the monkey.

- Or the goodness of my own heart?

Fine. Phil made sense--for once.

Now, I have a perfect plan,

but you have to follow it exactly.

- What do we do?

- Rule one: don't tell anyone about this.

- Rules? I love rules.

What's this game? Can I play too?

- Hi, Kimi. Angelica's gonna get back

a toy for us from the auction.

Oops.

- You're gonna steal from charity?

- What? Never!

- I'm glad to hear that.

If we behave, Mr. Garth puts a bean in the "Bean Good" jar.

Like yesterday, Angelica didn't push anyone

off the front spot on the story time rug.

- Yep. Kimi has taught me the terror of my ways.

- I want you to keep getting beans, Angelica.

It's just, Dilly loves that sheepy-spinner.

It helps him fall asleep.

But if you can't get it back,

I guess he'll still have a okay life.

- This is for your baby brother?

That changes everything!

A baby without a sheepy-spinner is like a--a--

I don't know, but we have to get it back.

- Okay. Now, in any good take-back,

no one uses their real names.

Got it?

So when I tell you your new name, remember it.

Tommy, got your stu-driver?

Excellent. From now on, you're The Tool.

Chuckie, your job involves the baby stroller,

so you'll be Wheels.

Kimi, you'll be Face, the lookout.

Phil and Lil, I'll call you...

Sticky Fingers and The Other One.

- Which is which?

- You'll figure it out.

Susie, you'll be Toots.

- Say what?

- On account of, you'll play this kazoo

if you see any grown-ups.

That just leaves me.

I'll be Smarty Boss,

'cause I gotta think of everything.

Now, let's get down to busy-ness.

They're keeping the goods in my classroom,

right there.

Mr. Garth will be keeping an eye on things.

So, Wheels, you're gonna use Dil to create a 'straction.

- How am I gonna do that?

- Make him cry.

- Wait. Doesn't Dil get a nickname?

- Fine. He's Babybreath.

Now, Wheels, you just make Babybreath cry.

- [wailing]

- The rest of us will sneak past

and tunnel our way to the classroom.

[all grunting]

Face, you'll be the lookout.

You see anything suspicious,

you signal to Toots to blast the kazoo.

[grunts]

[sneaky music]

- [grunts]

- Agh!

- [grunts]

- Sticky, Other One, you'll build the tower.

Then, The Tool, use your stu-driver to get us in.

There'll definitely be laser beams,

so you'll have to turn them off.

* *

Sticky Fingers and The Other One will

pick the lock on the safe.

Then I'll swap out the copy.

Wheels, by now you'll be at the window

with Babybreath's stroller.

I'll pass you the item,

and the rest of us will make our escape.

- Wow, Ang-- I mean Smarty Boss,

you thought of everything.

- Been doing this a long time, kid.

- Now on to our next lot, these charming chairs.

A pair of chimp-covered chairs for charity.

Do I hear 40? That's 40.

Do I hear 45, 50, 55...

- Charlotte, in four years of working together,

you never told me your husband was an auctioneer.

- I don't like to brag, Mayor Brooks.

For now, it's just a fascinating hobby

that I fully support.

* *

- [babbles]

- Come on, Dil, work with me.

Dil!

[whimpers]

[wailing]

- Not to worry, young Chuckie.

Here's a Mr. Garth "originale."

* When we're lost, we sing this song *

* Until our parents come along *

* La la la la, I'm okay *

* La la la la *

[sneaky music]

* *

- I'm counting on you, Toots.

Where's The Tool's tower?

- Been there.

Now we're building a castle.

- I thought we was making a dragon for him to fly on.

* *

- [grunts]

[yelps]

- Is it even actually locked?

- Toots! What are you doing here?

- I wanted to go through the tunnel.

- So fun! What next, team?

- Why'd I even bother making you a lookout?

Face, Toots, go back to where you're a-posed to be.

[grunts]

Whoa! [grunts]

Sticky Fingers, Other One, get to work.

[both grunting]

- [strains] Ah!

[yelps]

- I founded it!

- Bingo!

And now, the copy.

Hmm. I got to admit,

this looked better in my plan.

Oh, well, we tried.

- Don't give up now, Angelica.

Remember, we're doing this for Babybreath.

- Where's Wheels? - * La la la la *

* I'm okay, because I know that deep down *

* Parents can be at work * - Thanks again for coming

to our little school auction.

I know how busy you are.

- Of course, Charlotte.

I believe in supporting early education.

Plus, I love collecting little trinkets.

- [laughs]

Who's going to bid against the mayor,

right? - [gasps]

[kazoo quacking] - Wait till you see all

the items we've got in the classroom.

- Toot. Toot.

Toot!

- Whoa.

They make a kazoo that sounds like Susie?

- The warning!

We're done for!

- Ooh, speaking of, here's a nice little trinket.

- I'll make a tax-deductible donation instead.

- Let's get out of here.

- Sold!

- [clears throat] I believe this is

your precious wee one?

- Yes, he is.

People always say there's a remarkable resemblance,

but I'm not seeing it yet.

- The things I do.

- [fussing]

[cooing]

- I thought we donated that.

- Aww.

If it makes him that happy, I guess we can keep it.

- Aww. Okay.

- Next, no more nursery nap time needs

now that this marvelous musical mobile's nearby--

wait, hm? Hey, isn't that--

- My Bruno Bucatini watch?

- $5!

- $5.

Do I hear $5.50?

Charlotte? Anyone?

Okay, going once, going--

ah, never mind.

Sold to Mayor Brooks!

- [whimpers]

- Looks kind of like yours,

doesn't it, Charlotte?

Now we can do Matchy Mondays.

- [cooing] - Thank you, Angelica.

Your plan worked-ed.

- Of course it did, Baldy.

But that was the last time.

From now on, I stick to the straightened arrow.

- I'm so happy to hear you say that.

You broke the rules this time to help Tommy's brother,

but now your life of grime is behind you.

- We'll take a short break and resume

with this fair-faced ferret.

- Freddy Ferret?

Why would my mama ever donate that?

Angelica, you have to help me get it back.

- Hold up. Are you saying

you want me to break our school rules

to swipe a ferret?

- It's just one last job, I promise!

- That's what they all say, Face.

[bright xylophone music]

[foreboding music]

* *

[cat meows]

- [giggles]

[cat hisses] Yes!

Get moldy, bread.

Moldier than any bread has ever got before!

[laughs villainously] [thunder crashes]

- Wow, Gabi, I've never heard anyone

cackle about green bread.

Should I be worried? 'Cause I kind of am.

- Sorry, Aunt Betty.

I'm trying to make my science experiment

come to life so I'll get an A.

What do you think?

- Anything's possible with science.

[cat meows] - [babbling]

- Come to me, Copy.

You know you like the squeakies.

- Allow me, Lillian.

A nice hairball will win him over.

[hacks]

Aw, man. Nothing.

* *

[sighs]

- Well, at least you got Lamby.

He never runs away from you.

- And he's soft and cuddly.

- If only he was real, he'd be the perfect pet.

- You're right, Chuckie!

We just gotta do a 'speriment to bring Lamby to life.

'Cause anything's "postible" with science.

- To the lavatory!

[kettle whistles]

[liquids burbling]

[eerie music]

[thunder crashes]

- Dr. Lillian, how we coming along over there?

- The numbers all look number-y, Dr. Phillip.

- Excellent.

Oh, brain-fetcher!

Fetch us the kitty-cat brain.

- Maybe one day they'll ask me to do something not yucky.

[yelps]

- Is it weird that staring at moldy bread

is making me hungry?

- Made your fave peach cobbler, top shelf.

- Wow, thanks.

I knew you'd be a great lab partner.

Unlike Alexis.

- Your best friend? What's that about?

- For one thing, she's never once offered me peach cobbler.

- Uh...not that. Not that.

So I guess it must be this thing.

Oh! [glass shatters]

[toy squeaks]

Got you that kitty-cat brain, Doctor.

Just a totally norman, red and gooey brain,

nothing squeaky about it.

- Good work, Fetcher.

With this... [thunder crashes]

We create the perfect pet.

[laughs villainously]

- Prepare to be cuddled.

[electricity zapping]

[sinister music]

[squeals excitedly] - [laughs]

* *

- [purr-growls]

- He's a lamb!

I mean, he's alive!

- Our 'speriment was a success!

[doorbell rings]

[both gasp]

[grunts]

- Lamby, act like we didn't just brought-ed you to life.

- [purr-bleats]

- Hello. I have a preservation

at this hotel for two nights.

Extra fluffy pillows?

- We got that busy-ness to finish,

so show the lady to her room.

- Great. I need a good night's sleep.

All that talk of a mountain lion

running around the village has me--

what's under that sheet? - [gasps]

- What sheet?

- You're in room eleventy-six, down the hall.

Muffins for breakfast.

- [bleats]

- And if you get there early, they won't be moldy.

- This place sounds better and bet--

all: Phew!

[all gasp]

[thundering footsteps]

- Here, Lamby-Lamby. - Come here, boy.

- Aww. - [purrs]

[roar-bleats]

[glassware clattering]

- [gasps]

- I never heard-ed a purr

that sounded so much like a baa.

- [chuckles]

- [purr-bleating]

- [gasps] He's playing.

Try, Dr. Phillip.

- [meow-bleats]

- [laughs]

[gasps]

- Hey, I painted that with my own fingers!

Shoo! Shoo!

[whimpers, yelps]

Aw.

[grunts] That's a tight squeeze.

[doorbell rings] - [bleats anxiously]

- Ah!

- What's he doing?

- Looking for milk?

- I think we should be looking for the nearest exit.

- [meow-bleating]

- Our wormy farm! - [gasps]

[doorbell ringing]

- Hello?

Anybody home?

- It's the nosy neighbor.

Quick, Chuckie, hide Lamby.

- Just a minute!

- But I don't want to go in the closet with Lamby.

[yelps]

- I came to see how you were doing

with that mountain lion running around.

Have you seen it?

- Nope.

No mountain lions or monsters here.

- Splendid.

Say, that fryer-place looks cozy.

Mind if I take a toad off?

[thunder crashes] - So just when I finished

setting up the last sample, Alexis is all,

"Ew, mold is so gross and fuzzy.

I can't even look at it. Can you do the project?"

So now I'm stuck doing all the analysis too.

- Well, friendship's kind of like science.

Sometimes the answer's right in front of you.

Did you tell Alexis that you were feeling frustrated?

- Tell her how I feel.

Huh. Aunt Betty, you're a genius.

[bookcase creaking]

- [bleats]

[nervous laughter]

- [whispering] Dr. Phillip, I didn't want to say this,

but I think there's something wrong with Lamby.

[bookcase thuds] - You think?

- You're right, Dr. Lillian.

It's like we created a--a...

both: Lambster!

[thunder crashes]

[both gasp]

- Not to be that guest,

but my bathroom is missing a washcloth.

It's basic hotel stuffs, people.

- Oh, our washcloths are in the closet over there--

[muffled speech]

- [bleating lullaby]

- Found it.

What time's dinner?

You got a menu I could check out?

- Hungry? These two are always hiding

something around here-- usually cookies.

[sneaky music]

Say, why do you have a catnip mouse

in your cookie cabinet?

That's just asking for mountain lions.

- [bleat-roars]

[both scream]

[both whimpering]

[bleat-roaring]

[yowls]

- Susie, you're scaring him.

- I'm scaring him?

- [bleats]

[door opens and closes]

- [whimpering] Okay. Okay.

Nothing to worry about. [chuckles nervously]

We build-ed Lamby to play and cuddle.

That's all he was trying to do.

- Hold up. You made that thing?

- He's Lamby, our perfect little pet.

We even gave-d him the best-est kitty brain we had.

- I might've gave you a kitty toy instead of a brain.

[chuckles nervously] But at least I got

the kitty part right, right?

- Just to be clear, we accidentally made

a giant, "unconstrollable" lambster,

and now he's loose somewhere in the village.

- It's gonna be okay.

I found-ed the cookies.

[wolf howls distantly]

- Yoo-hoo! Lambster! - Here, Lamby-Lamby!

- Are you there? - Look!

These poppy-corn plants are ruined.

The town's gonna have nothing to eat if he keeps this up.

- You don't know Lamby did that.

It could've been anyone.

- Somebody help!

This lambster's destroying the poppy-corn!

[foreboding music]

- [cooing]

- [bleat-growls]

[thunder crashes]

* *

- [babbles]

[all gasp]

[babbling happily]

[giggles]

- [gasps] Hey, Lamby.

Can I get another hug?

- [purr-bleats] - [giggling]

- [whimpers]

[deep growl]

both: The mountain lion!

- [growling]

[all scream]

- [bleats]

- [growls]

* *

- They're--they're--

- Playing.

- They're just two big kitties who needed a friend.

Our town doesn't gots to worry about lions

or lambsters anymore!

- [babbling]

- I texted Alexis to say I felt hurt,

and she DM'd me on KlickKlack.

Listen: "I'm sorry, Gabi." Broken heart emoji.

"Come over and we can totally write this report together."

Two girls hugging and crying emoji.

"Just don't bring the moldy bread."

Barf face, barf face, skull.

Aw. - Awesome.

I'm not sure why you needed so many emojis,

but I am happy for you.

Smiley face.

[bright music]

* *

- [laughing]

- Oh, my turn, my turn!

[laughter]

- Copy's finally hanging out with us.

And alls we had to do was share Lamby with him.

- Too bad Copy can't talk.

He could've have just told you what he wanted.

- Ooh, yeah.

Imagine if Copy Cat had a peoples voice.

both: To the lavatory!

[thunder crashes]

[cat meows]
