Eventually, they notice A carport with the light on.

They notice there's a woman Lying on the ground.

As they approach her, They can see a pool of blood

Is forming.

I just closed a murder that Happened 2 days prior.

After working a murder For 48 hours,

I was ready to go home.

Looks like a shooting.

I'm going to head on down there And check it out.

So the first thought is, is that Maybe this is a retaliation.

When we get to the scene, There's chaos.

Naturally, people are out there

Trying to find out What happened.

There's a car parked in The driveway and in the grass.

It's a black sedan.

What's odd about it Is the car is running.

The car could be important, But for now, it can wait.

First things first: I want to Take a look at the body.

We found her like this.

She was already dead.

Okay.

And we have not Found her id yet.

There's a clear gunshot To the front of her head,

And there's also a gunshot Wound in the chest.

Looks like she died Instantly.

The scene itself did not show Signs of a lot of struggle,

But the blood coming from her Head was a pretty large amount,

So it was pretty gruesome.

But when you have a body That's laying there,

And you don't know Who it is,

There's no question that The person in the driveway

Is the person on this id.

Karen johnson was A mother of three.

She was a caretaker by trade.

She watched after the ill And the elderly.

Karen worked in nursing homes Across shreveport.

In every aspect of life, She took care of others.

Any signs of a break-in?

No -- the front door Or the back door,

Neither one had any signs Of tampering.

On the surface, this didn't Appear to be a robbery.

The house wasn't ransacked.

There's no forced entry, And as far as investigators

Could tell at this point, Nothing was taken.

And in the chest With an ak-47 assault rifle.

There are two vehicles that Are registered to ms. Johnson.

Now, I found out that the white Vehicle has been recovered.

I realize that she says Similar things as briana.

Cooley comes off as kind, Attentive,

Caring, affectionate, And then he flips.

He turns into someone Who's completely controlling,

Possessive and dangerous.

Then he started acting crazy,

Accusing me of being With all these men,

Half of them I didn't even know.

For whatever reason, he came up With stories and scenarios

About her infidelity That just didn't happen.

I should've left him, But I didn't know how.

Sadly, tiffany's experience Is a story

I've heard many times before.

Typically, they stay With their abuser

Because they think He'll change.

They think that this is The last time,

And a lot of times, It doesn't happen like that.

And that's when my sister Had contacted you all.

And I put her in touch with Somebody from shreveport p.D.

Did they contact you?

They did what they could,

But they couldn't keep anton Locked up.

Even though cooley Was arrested

On the charge of domestic Violence in beating tiffany,

He somehow managed to be found Guilty of a lesser charge.

Cooley was back out to do Whatever he wanted to do again.

I don't want this to happen To someone else.

I don't want him to hurt anyone.

I understand.

Oh, my god. Did he hurt someone?

I don't know for sure.

After listening to tiffany,

I realized how disturbing This case actually is.

Cooley probably did The same thing to johnson

That he did to The other women in his life,

So he's a real suspect now.

Problem is, I don't have Any physical evidence

Linking anton cooley To the crime.

So he jumped in that car And took off.

Once cooley got close To jerome's house,

He abandoned the car and ran.

He was convicted Of second-degree murder

And sentenced to life in prison

Without the possibility Or benefit of parole.
