Kind of a catch-up day.

That we found in stoner hill,

In his leg, his torso, his arm.

The most gruesome part
About this scene was

That he had multiple
Gunshot wounds to his head.

Were pretty devastating,

To the point where
Part of his jaw was missing.

Do we know who he is?

Nope, no I.D.

But we did find $200
In his pockets.

Well, that takes robbery
Off the table, right?

The shell casings were present

Made it clear that he was shot
And killed at that location.

At this point,
We didn't know much,

But I've already got a hunch
About the motive.

The symbolic overkill suggested

That this wasn't anything
That was personal.

It wasn't anything that was
Passionate or whimsical.

This was something that was
Plotted out, planned.

But up until this point,
They just didn't have enough

If I didn't get it back.

And as she's entering
Her residence,

She's bum-rushed by intruders.

Rudell: he's dead asleep.[ woman screaming ]

He's startled.

He wakes up.
A struggle ensues.

Where's the money?

[ both grunting ]

[ screaming ]

One of them shoots kevin edwards
Multiple times

In his upper-body area,
Which results in his death.

[ woman crying ]

Cry for him, huh?

[ whimpers ]

Demery: hearing this,
I'm asking myself

The same questions
About kevin edwards

As I am anthony crain.

Why would waco collins
Want to take out

One of his top lieutenants?

Mack: investigators are sweeping
The apartment for clues,

And they've located
A piece of a latex glove,

Which contained a fingerprint.

Processed for dna.

That dna was matched
To an individual --

Dion lewis.

And he was ultimately arrested

About a love triangle

Kevin smith has just served up
The second shooter

On a silver platter.

Though detective rudell and I
Have heard

The name shannon golston before.

Two weeks
After kevin earl was killed,

Shannon golston
Was found murdered.

Shannon golston was found

On the floor
Of his sister's apartment.

He said it was done.

And then we left.

So, what happened to the gun
That was used to kill golston?

Tells me the story,

I want some physical evidence.

Unless I can corroborate it.

That's where we ditched it
That day he was shot.

So the odds of

In hopes of finding someone

And then it's delivered to him,

If what kevin says is true

And they are able to follow
This person with the drugs,

Then waco's gonna be arrested.

If waco's arrested, then I get
The chance to talk to him.
