steal her fortune.

a doctor with a bit of a shady

into using his medical
background and posing as fake
Theo.

To get rid of Miss Weston so
they could claim the money she
set aside for her son.

And if he helped her,
they'd split the fortune.

Or so Rebecca told him.

Miss Weston was communicating
with the fake Theo for months.

She had her doubts, so she tried
to contact Theo using the old
address.

But they were
intercepted by Rebecca.

She'd shared this information
with John Grey.

He was doing what he could to
help her, even if he didn't know
all of the details.

And she wanted to
return the favor.

Miss Weston was suspicious.

So she hid the whereabouts of
her fortune in a place no one
would find it.
