No, Mom, I'm nervous.

Oh, that's all right.

I think everybody's a little nervous.

I think I was nervous at my first prom, too.

I really like this girl, though.

I didn't even think she would say yes when I asked her.

Oh, I'm so glad.

I can't wait to meet her.

You look so good.

Oh, my goodness.

Blue looks fabulous on you.

Oh, there we go.

Awesome.

You know, I got to get a picture.

I want pictures of her, too.

Okay.

Okay.

But, you know, before she gets here, get a couple pictures?

Yeah.

Sure.

All right.

I'm so excited for you.

You're home.

Oh, my God.

It looks good, right?

It looks fabulous.

You look fabulous.

You think she's going to like it?

Oh, absolutely.

How could she not?

You look gorgeous.

That is... You clean up so nicely, son.

Oh, look at you.

Let me get my camera.

And let's take a picture.

Oh, look at you.

You look so great.

My little boy all grown up going on his prom.

Aw.

Love it.

Oh, I can't wait to meet her.

I'm so excited for you.

She said she's not coming tonight.

What?

Yeah, she's going out with someone else.

She's, oh my god.

She said that I was her backup.

Oh, son.

I was really wanting to go to prom.

I can't even go to prom now.

I'm not going to go by myself.

Well, why not?

Because it would be embarrassing.

What, am I going to get pictures taken there by myself and dance?

By myself.

You know, you'd be surprised at how many go by themselves, though.

I mean, it's your prom.

Yeah, and it's ruined now, Mom.

Aw.

You know what?

I've got an idea.

Yeah?

How about if we have a little prom for you here?

I mean, you're already dressed up.

We can, you know, dance here and just make it a night for you.

Okay.

Okay.

Yeah, we can do that.

Yeah.

I mean, oh, I can't believe she did that to you.

Oh, my son.

You look so good, too.

She doesn't deserve you.

She really doesn't.

It's supposed to be a night of dancing, isn't it?

Hi.

Peace.
