It's the asylum graveyard.

The developers are in the process of
removing the remains for reburial elsewhere.

And this was a private hospital?

So far as I've been able
to make out, mixed use.

And that's a polite way of saying what?

It was used as a place where the
well-to-do could send those relatives

deemed for some reason or another
to be not quite up to snuff.
