to mount this first on its pedestal base

so flip it over push the back off with

some pressure that one come off easier

it is different for this year which is

quite interesting so some of the

included accessories or components new

is the included pedestal stand there was

one available to buy last year which I

never actually saw but I'm sure it was

good unpacking the Box on the different

sizes bit there about leading your

cables guiding your cables round on the

55 and 65 model building the pedestal

stand on the 55 and 65 and then it gets

quite interesting at the bottom here cuz

it looks like you're arranging the

polished Irene for the 65 so you stand

the TV up and insert the pedestal stand

into the back of it while it's propped

up so I hope this works well cuz if not

TV is going to come crashing down but

I'll give it a go 55 lay it flat and put

the pedestal stand on onto the back of

that cover different methods there for

the different size is as well up to 77

83 and 97 in so that'll be a pretty cool

TV for someone who can afford one of

those list of the inputs on the back

there what's going in and where wall

mounting table of information for the

different

dimensions 24.3 mil thick I'll say it

now cuz I'll probably forget to do the

thickness when I measure the dimensions

and the weights across those different

sizes and at the very bottom in

information regarding the VIS amounts as

well on the 97 in it's 600x 400 on the

55 300X 200 and then varying in between

gray plastic

neck okay so big lump of mild steel

there sort of matte powder coat finish

it has LG OLED that shows

up underneath some rubber pads stop it

scratch you know Mark your surfaces and

sliding around and all we can see

through holes there this part to attach

to which I may as well do now is the

bottom of the pedestal base where the

neck's going to locate on you have to

clip it on before you put your screws in

this bit got a kind of loop there that's

going to locate onto that tab this clip

will clip over there and that sits in

the middle you can see I've actually

scratched a bit of paint off cuz I did

it a minute ago off camera trying to

figure it out then it was quite hard to

get off

like

that and you do have to give it a bit of

force let's get to the front of it

pushing it forward you can see you've

got that Gap there it's a plastic clip

will clip in place and that is it a look

underneath we can see where it's now in

place but to secure it need four machine

screws into the

holes whip those screws in

okay so that's that part assembled and I

do notice on it couple of different

height Arrangements there so this is the

part that's going to be on the back of

the

TV two Haws there two different heights

I guess it's for if you've got a sound

bar so if you haven't got a sound bar

it's low there you've got a soundar

higher up gives you space for a soundbar

underneath the screen pretty cool

I'm going for the lower

Arrangement which will hook on

there and then through the

back four more holes there to drop four

more bolts

in whip those in

that's ready to go on the TV goinging to

the quick setup guys you've got this bit

of poly that was in front of the face of

the screen these bits were down the

sides then we see we've got slots going

through there that's what the TV is

going to stand in the one simply goes he

says simply goes over there and it is

marked on here one don't know what one

means but one there one there maybe now

I've got the two slots I'm going to

lower the TV into that better shift it

along a bit

and well apparently this is going to

hold it and keep it secure while I

attach the pedestal stand so fingers

crossed definitely recommend two people

for this bit cuz it's

heavy heavy and

expensive oh

feels fairly secure that's the TV from

the other side I've put the screen this

way so I can get to the back of it and I

can't surely I hope tip it forwards so

we'll soon see about

that that's a bit more Central my

pedestal stand is going to attach into

here bolt holes are there there and

there and there there the V amounts

there I think it said 300 by 300 under

shows is for the classic wall bracket

which I'll be doing on a separate video

OLED G4 OLED War Mount whatever but they

give you the

cover when you're not using it two tabs

at top of the pedestal here got through

hols for the bolts there there there and

there and bits of mesh to retain your

screws as well very nice

plug out the

way okay and that should just insert

onto there I should put my hand on it

really just in case I do something

stupid and push it

forwards then just four screws into

those holes and lift it off the

poly quickly wind those in

cool that now secure just zoom out again

well stand secure TV is a bit ropey on

that poly and then I guess you just lift

it off the poly sit it on its

stand and it should be nice and tight

all around screws are gone in nicely

while we're looking at the back you can

see we lead all our cables out of here

around cable retention clip there and

you have to be careful I get them all in

the correct order so the wires aren't

twisting over when a wall mount it and

it keeps it nice and flat to the wall

all the cable extension clip hidden by

the neck there through the neck so once

we've got our cables in this cover can

go on the back

somehow some little

lugs little rubber lugs it locates

into nice cables through we down there

and out and another

cover there so from the back it will

look nice and tidy if few TVs up against

a bay window and you see it from the

back nice and clean and neat

quickly looking at the connections

running down the side we've got USB one

there HDMI 1 and 2 HDMI 2 is enhanced

audio return channel so HDMI from there

to your Soundbar or AV receiver will

pass the audio back from the TV and it

will control it from the TV remote then

we've got two more USBS there so three

USBS in total HDMI three and four four

hcmi in total Lan or wired internet

digital optical audio out there antenna

in and satellite in and we've got the

port there 3 and 1/2 mil Jack socket for

that IR Blaster cable to control hidden

devices Dimensions it's on a stand so

that's different for this year get the

stand WID to start with 48 and2 CM or 19

and8 of an inch in width depth for that

from Back to Front I'd say 264 mm or

just under 26 1/2 CM 10 and 38 of an

inch from the whatever it stood on to

the bottom of the screen 4 1/2 CM or 1

and 3/4 in to the

top I'd say 86 and 1/2

CM or 34 and an eigh of an inch width of

this 65 in model 144

CM or 56 and 3/4 of an inch and

thickness was I think it was 24.3 mil

looking at the TV from the back it's got

a 300X 300 mil visa from the bottom of

the TV to the center of that first vount

hole I make it about 216

mm and then obviously we've got the

other special wall mount

under that flap TV is now wall mounted

that's on a separate video cuz it's

going to be long and I'm NE could I just

do the peely peely before I turn it on I

can get it

off nice and accurate screen

install so set top box and

TV so TV means the antenna or aerial

input and setop box is the skyq Box I've

stuff to optimize the stand how is it

installed this is installed now wall

mounted so a Sound Pro and AI picture

Pro we'll look at the content using and

optimize the picture and sound settings

give you the best possible

results but for the demo I'm going to

leave that

settings not going to change anything

there obviously I went to the home or

store mode TV info

so so software update there you've got

auto update on or off a lot of people

leave it off like I say and then you can

manually Go download and

install and under

General on external

devices you've got HDMI settings there

so CC turn on

do Vision PC if you've got it and you've

got your deep color settings when you've

got devices plugged in although it does

automatically come up on the TV and

change it for you if you got PS5 or skyq

anything that uses 10 bit or more okay

else that's it so under energy saveing

there it's on auto I'm going to turn

that off cuz it sacrifices the picture

to save oh sacrifices the picture to

save a few Pence on electricity so that

is now

off auto power off at home I've got it

set to two hours so if the kids leave it

on with no activity it will turn itself

off

install going to turn that off all

together okay what else we

got

system additional

settings so home settings here also on

the power on screen I want it to go to a

recent input not the home menu every

time I turn it on so if I was last on

freev view or Netflix or whatever it

would go straight to that when I turn it

back on after eating my

dinner I've turned the AI tips off on

the settings but where was that have a

look General oh there we go so under

General AI service you've got their AI

picture

Pro AI brightness

settings AI genre selection

Sound Pro these are looking at your

content and optimize it acoustic tuning

tune it to your room I use an AV system

so that doesn't apply to me AI

recommendations and so on so I've got

those all turned off myself but up to

you at home sound settings un Advanced

if you've got a sound system it's

probably grayed out cuz I haven't got

one

connected but digital sound output set

what's correct so on mine it would do

Dolby Digital and so on and I want it

set to pass through set to pass through

and if watching Netflix Dolby atmas or

anything like that it's going to pass it

out the TV to the sound system or sound

bar in the same way so I'll get that

Dolby Digital out my speakers so if it's

coming out your speaker in stereo sound

that should be set to pass through also

e support if you've got an older AV

receiver and it doesn't have an enhanced

audio return Channel make sure that's

turned off otherwise you'll get funny

distortion on your sound

and so on cuz I found that one out as

well and on picture I'm just going to

put it on standard for the

demo and I'll sort my brightness again

standard for the demo so I'll now go on

to live TV and get some content there to

just sample on to the news I'll shut my

mouth just want to demo bit of sound and

flat to the wall you have the pedestal

stand option but if you're go pedestal

stand you may as well go C4 TV instead I

know it's thicker but when it's on a

stand does it matter and the C4 is

probably not as bright but does that

matter as well cuz in my own home I

wouldn't have it that bright but I mean

there's not really any cons against it

apart from I wish they' put a detachable

Mains lead on it and you didn't get the

included wall bracket this year I don't

know if it's an option where you can buy

one with a wall bracket instead of the

stand uh one or the other sort of thing

but I know you can buy the bracket

separately so cracking bit of Kit again
