store 6 blocks away is robbed

and a 66-year-old
man is pistol whipped,

a Gavin trademark.

A week later,
on the 14th at 2:30,

Gavin meets his parole
officer for the second time.

At 3:23, seven blocks away,

a mom-and-pop
grocery store gets hit,

and pop winds up a vegetable
from a fractured skull.

And, the 21st at 3:44,
Gavin shows up...
