All our wonderful volunteers,
they all went well

above and beyond.

In fact, there is one I would
like you to meet.

Natalie is one of our most
enthusiastic volunteers.

She actually found us this
lovely location at CMU's campus

when the zoo fell through.

And I would love to hear a few
words about what she's learned.

Um, hi everybody.

My name is Natalie Calder, and
I was supposed to be walking,

uh, with a team today, but, uh,
instead I'm walking solo.

[crowd aww's]

It's okay.

Here's what I see.

Life is short.

It's too short to not do the
things that bring you joy.

And I thought I was doing that
by trying so hard to create

a community around me when the
truth is there was one

right in front of me.
