~ Hero ~ Final Episode

Hey, Kang Hae Seong!

Seems like our President was right.

I came here to keep you from running away.

You must be afraid of Choi Il Doo after all, right?

What's that?

Is that all the information you've collected about Choi Il Doo's illegal activities?

Where are you sending it?

The TV stations? Or... DAESE Daily?

Even if I have to leave, I'll do all that I need to do.

You coward!

Take revenge on Choi Il Doo.

What?

If you want revenge, do it right you bastard!

Everything you know about him, spill it all.

Han Kyul and Gong Chil Sung, that's two murders alone!

Don't run away but take revenge instead!

What if I say I can't do that?

Weren't you the one who told me not to destroy my life just for the sake of taking revenge?

So... now you decide to run away?

Tell me the reason why you're now telling me to take revenge.

Ah... Jo Young Deok can only be released if Choi Il Doo is caught?

What should I do?

I don't think I can help you.

I don't want to sacrifice myself just to save you all.

Kang Hae Seong, stop right there!

Hey, Kang Hae Seong!

You've earned yourself a life thanks to Jin Do Hyuk.

- Were you trying to kill me? - You should be aware of that.

Tell me... is Jin Do Hyuk dead?

Seems like you're running away, huh?

Just like your dad.

Answer me! Are you planning to kill me?!

I'm not trying to kill you. I will kill you.

Treating me this way, you think I'd do nothing and just let you be?

[Mail] [Seoul Post Office]

That envelope... although I don't know what it contains,

if I were you, I wouldn't do anything foolish.

I'm someone who can kill several people and still be free.

Do you think a few documents would intimidate me?

You'll never be able to survive in public without me.

Don't be mistaken.

Without DAESE Group or DAESE Daily, you won't be able to do anything.

If you dare to do anything,

I'll still kill you, even if I have to chase you around the world.

Moreover, your mother won't be safe either.

You got it?

If I end up going to jail, it's you who'll be in the greatest danger.

It would be wise for you to live very quietly, like a dead person.

Being in contact with Ho Kyung won't help you.

You... will die under my hand.

[No.1 Choi Il Doo]

[The most qualified leader is now here] [to better Korea's economy. No.1 Choi Il Doo]

Jung, can you pour me a glass of water?

What's wrong? Are you choking, Mom?

No. It's just that my chest felt a little stuffy.

My heart is racing very fast too.

Do you want me to help with that?

It's okay. It'll get better.

Uncle's a little late.

Why isn't he home yet? I want to know what happened to grandfather.

Do you think he could have gone somewhere else after his meeting?

Do you want me to give him a call?

Sure.

[Bong Sang Chul]

[Bong Sang Chul]

Kang Hae Seong...

Kang Hae Seong!

Kang Hae Seong.

Who...?

Hello.

[Yuk Jeon Restaurant]

I came here once before.

Ah! You were Hae Seong's classmate, right?

But, what happened to you?

By any chance, did Hae Seong come here?

Hae Seong?

Hae Seong told me that he'll be going abroad today.

O... Overseas?

What time? What time did he call?

I think it was a few hours ago.

But, are you okay?

That... I'm sorry but can I borrow your phone to make a call?

[DAESE Daily's very first labor strike ever.]

[Republic of Korea's Development Party has] [withdrawn Choi Il Doo as candidate in the election.]

Yeah. Finally, chaos for Choi Il Doo.

DAESE Daily is bankrupt and he's withdrawn from the election.

Serves him right.

Any news from the Inspector yet?

As the case was closed, it's going to be hard to re-open it.

Citizens are demanding it by signing the petition. Seriously, whose Inspector is he?

Getting back to this... I doubt his withdrawal is such a big blow to Choi Il Doo.

Wait a minute, what will happen then to that man from Young Deok Daily?

We can only know once he has gone to trial.

The way things are, I think it will be hard for a "not guilty" verdict.

Hello, who is this?

It's me.

Oh! Where are you?

I need to ask you for a favor.

Can you check for Kang Hae Seong on the list of passengers who left the country today?

"Passengers who left the country"?

Where is Kang Hae Seong going?

I don't know that either.

Please do this favor for me.

I'll call you later.

The number you have dialed is currently not available. Please leave a message after the beep.

Here, please drink this.

Thank you.

Are you alright?

Yeah.

But, why are you looking for our Hae Seong?

If Hae Seong tells you where he's heading...

please make sure you give me a call.

Okay, I will.

Then, I'll wait for your call.

Sure.

If Hae Seong contacts me, I'll give you a call.

Please, go inside.

Wow! You're still alive. That's great.

You rascal...

No matter what,

how could you just run away and leave me?

Who do you think you are to save me?

Did I ask for your help?

Did I ask you to save my life?

Why are you here?

Just because you've saved my life, you think that I'll listen to you?

No. I'm here because I'm worried that Choi Il Doo will kill you.

Who do you think you are to worry about me?

You rascal... everything would be settled just by saying a word of thanks.

Why do I have to thank you? Why should I?

I wished for you to die.

I wouldn't care if you were dead. But you...

Why do you...?

Didn't you also wish for me to die?

Why would I wish for that?

Regardless of whether you wished me dead or not,

I don't care.

Didn't I tell you?

I think people are more important.

I did it because, that person was you... not to gain something.

Stop thinking so highly of yourself.

Okay.

I'm sorry.

What do you want exactly?

What do I want?

For you to run away.

If you're caught by Choi Il Doo, you'll be in danger.

I... don't want to see anyone get hurt anymore.

I'm here because I'm worried that Choi Il Doo will kill you.

Hey, Kang Hae Seong!

Regardless of whether you wished me dead or not,

I don't care.

Didn't I tell you?

I think people are more important.

[Pharmacy] [Emergency]

Have you called home?

How could you run away from the hospital after being in an accident?!

What if something was to happen to you?!

Who was it? Who ran over you?

Don't be so agitated. I didn't call you to hear your nagging.

I am not angry with you.

Didn't you say you were checking the CCTV?

The tapes should show something.

Didn't you see anything? Not even the car's number plate?

I wasn't focused on that at the time.

You're really okay, right?

I'm okay.

But I'm worried for Hae Seong.

That person you pushed out of the way of the car, you're worried for him?

That rascal...

Where can he be?

[Chairman Choi Il Doo is back at DAESE Group and] [has decided to concentrate on managing the business]

"Chairman Choi Il Doo is back at DAESE Group

and has decided to concentrate on managing the business."

He lost his nomination for election and has been kicked out of the party...

yet, it has no effect on him?

Kang Hae Seong has really been discredited.

[Director Kang Hae Seong calls off the wedding and resigns]

"Director Kang Hae Seong..."

"calls off the wedding and resigns."

"He was found to have wrongly engaged in greedy and dictatorial conduct."

"He disappeared after submitting his resignation."

Look on the bright side.

Without Kang Hae Seong, no one will save Choi Il Doo.

That will only be useful if Choi Il Doo is arrested.

He doesn't... want to see Choi Il Doo elected as President either.

Who knows...?

There may be a slight possibility that he still can win support.

Didn't you witness his past deeds?

Can our citizens actually elect such a person?

That kind of person must not be elected.

Nothing is predictable. We shouldn't let our guard down.

Oh yeah, hyung...

No news yet on the hit-and-run driver?

No.

Someone must have ordered this, as well.

Even if he's found, what good will that do?

What are you guys doing?

We have to keep investigating. Let's go.

Let's go.

It's not that I don't want to, it's just I'm not in the mood to.

During that time... while I was absorbed by politics,

please forgive me for causing disruption... and financial losses at DAESE Group.

[DAESE Group] [Chairman Choi Il Doo]

In order to regain these losses...

I will endeavour wholeheartedly to bring DAESE Group, currently in chaos, back to normal.

I heard the Development Party have withdrawn your qualifications,

and that you had to resign as the Party's candidate.

Those are rumors. They are fake stories.

[Attorney, Ha No Woon]

You'll understand once you've read DAESE Daily's news.

In order to protect the organization, I quit the election, on my own initiative.

What exactly happened to Director Kang Hae Seong?

I put my trust in Director Kang... and he let me down.

Because of politics and the election, I didn't pay attention to anything else.

That's why so many things happened.

Is it true that Director Kang is behind all of these?

Let's take his excessive loyalty as an example.

He was thinking of using DAESE Daily only to protect me.

I can thus understand DAESE Daily reporters' objections and the reasons for their strike.

[DAESE Group] [Chairman Choi Il Doo]

The media exists for the sake of the citizens,

and not for a particular person's own benefit.

And yet, we've violated this principle. I'm very regretful and apologetic.

I will issue my letter of apology to the citizens through DAESE Daily.

I hope that all will accept my apologies and that the newspaper strikes, will end.

[Lawyer Lee Chan Hee]

He's a not bad lawyer, my sunbae.

I've told him about it.

Yeah.

How much is the lawyer fee?

He agreed to take your case for free so, don't worry about that.

The other prosecutors who are on your side and I, met with our District Prosecutor.

I can't guarantee what good news we will have for you,

but please be assured that we are trying hard to re-open Choi Il Doo's case.

Thank you.

You're really something, Reporter Jin Do Hyuk.

Pardon?

Aren't you using your beliefs to change the world?

That's all I have.

It'll definitely be a better world. Let's just work to achieve it.

Defendant Jo Young Deok.

Based on Statute 392.1.2 of the law,

Defendant Jo Young Deok will be imprisoned for 1 year.

[Courtroom 1]

Chairman...

It's shorter than I expected.

Please be careful. We don't know what Choi Il Doo is capable of doing.

Am I the type of person who'd just be taken in?

I'm more worried for you. Aren't you someone who's doing something important?

I'm sorry for not being able to protect you.

Doesn't he have me, hyung-nim?

That's true.

I'll write a lot of apology letters. I will be released soon, so don't worry about me.

Just do whatever you have to do.

I'm sorry. I will keep my promise to you.

Reporter Jin, you do know that this is something that can't be done in a hurry, right?

If we can convince just one person each day, then

in one year, we will have 365 people on our side.

What do you think?

Just the sound of that is grand, isn't it?

Oh! Was that fellow tr... trying to run away?

Despicable fellow.

Isn't she K... Kang Hae Seong's fiancee?

Oh... I'm right aren't I, that is Choi Il Doo's daughter?

Yeah.

Choi Ho Kyung.

Last Friday, you witnessed a hit-and-run

in the basement carpark of Kang Hae Seong's apartment, right?

Thanks for calling the police for me.

Who was it?

Who drove the car?

I don't know. I didn't see anything.

Do you know where Hae Seong is?

I don't know.

Haven't you contacted him?

No.

You saw it.

The person who drove the car wasn't trying to kill me.

He wanted to kill your fiancee, Kang Hae Seong.

That Kang Hae Seong... it's all that fellow's fault!

[The most qualified leader is now here] [to better Korea's economy. No.1 Choi Il Doo]

Things are at least under control this way... we're lucky.

I'm only withdrawing for the moment.

I won't give up.

You're saying that you want to participate in the election again?

I'm thinking about the next election.

So, you're saying that you're going to now just give up like this?

Of course.

When the next election comes,

those who remember these incidents won't be calling the shots anymore.

That problematic Representative Kang won't be around either.

As for Congressman Park's position, I will put in all my effort to help.

Anyway, I will pursue it one more time.

My goal will definitely not change.

Please continue to support me.... I beg all of you.

Kiddo, for how much longer are you going to treat your father so coldly?

It's all because of that double-dealing jerk, Kang Hae Seong.

Ho Kyung... it is Dad's fault.

Why is it your fault?

What else can it be? When that fellow was wooing you,

I should have seen through him earlier.

Dad... What have you done to oppa, for him to take revenge on you?

I can't remember it clearly either. Maybe there are some misunderstandings.

- Misunderstandings? - Yes, misunderstandings...

Dad, I think you're very... scary.

Ho Kyung...

No matter what other people would say...

I always thought that you were a very awesome person.

That's right. "Dad is a very awesome man."

Even though he has killed someone,

he can still live his life... as if nothing has happened.

- Ho Kyung... - Dad wants to kill oppa.

You think I don't know this?

- What did you say? - From now on...

I don't have a father.

You...!

I am Choi Ho Kyung.

A few days ago...

in that hit-and-run incident...

in the basement carpark of Kang Hae Seong's apartment building...

The person driving the car was... Chairman Choi Il Doo.

And... I will... personally testify to it.

Please come and arrest him.

[Choi Il Doo caught by police, thanks to his daughter] [Choi Ho Kyung who decided to testify as a witness.]

So, it was Choi Il Doo who drove that car...

What exactly is happening here?

I feel so sad for this woman.

The man she loved, was just taking advantage of her.

Her father is also a murderer. How is she going to live now?

He is a totally cold-blooded murderer.

What about Kang Hae Seong?

Kang Hae Seong... are we going to discover his dead body somewhere?

[Old Korea Daily: Chairman Choi Il Doo of DAESE Group] [is arrested for suspicion of hit-and-run]

[Choi Il Doo caught by police, thanks to his daughter] [Choi Ho Kyung who decided to testify as a witness.]

[Ho Kyung]

You have a message.

First voice message.

Oppa... are you alright?

If my father has done anything to you,

I apologize to you on his behalf.

I'm sorry.

Whether you used me or not,

during the time I had with you...

I was happy... and loved you very much.

My wish is for you to forget all the pain,

and be happy.

You have a message.

Kang Hae Seong, where are you?

Did you really go overseas?

I'm worried for you.

How have you been? Give me a call.

Your mother is also waiting for you to call.

Are you listening to your voice messages?

Even so, you should give me a reply.

I want to know if you're still alive.

Kang Hae Seong!

Actually, I wanted to tell you this a long time ago...

Your father... was not that kind of person.

He was definitely not a weak person.

Your father risked his life to get that information.

What dirty tricks Choi Il Doo used to obtain the re-development contracts...

what methods he used to threaten people...

After gathering all that information, he turned it over to my father.

When that was found out, they sent Gong Chil Sung to take care of him.

The reason your father committed suicide... was because he lost all hope.

He realized that no matter how hard he tried, there was no hope.

The man my father was working with... your father,

was definitely not a weak man.

He was betrayed... and nearly beaten to death.

He was never successful in life either.

He was just an incompetent man who committed suicide.

You're right, that man was my father.

Why... would I risk my life to take revenge for a person who committed suicide?

Welcome!

Oh my...!

Hae Seong!

Didn't... you go overseas?

Why not? Didn't you say you were...?

Oh my goodness...

Do you know how long it's been since you visited here?

Please give me some rice.

Okay. Right now. Please wait just a minute.

Here...

What...? You don't like it?

What happened to you?

I've read the newspapers.

Did you quit your job?

Yes.

Were you fired?

Yes.

Your Chairman has been arrested.

Where are you staying?

I am staying at a hotel.

I need to think some things through.

What's happened to you? You're not being your usual self.

I'm sorry.

What's there to be sorry about?

Between a mother and her son, there is no need to apologize.

Just needing to eat a bowl of my rice will do.

Come on! Eat some more.

For a year or more...

I may have to go away somewhere.

Kang Hae Seong!

Where have you been?

Sorting out some things.

I thought you were dead.

Kang Hae Seong has admitted his crimes.

Why are you so shocked?

Thank you for saving me.

You called me here just to say this?

My father didn't manage to do anything. Furthermore...

what you father didn't manage to finish...

it's time for us to complete it.

Let's start.

Chairman Choi Il Doo ordered that the boy Choi Han Kyul be murdered.

Do you know what happened?

Of course I know.

Choi Il Doo, used his withdrawal from the election to cover up his crimes.

He arranged for the kidnapping of his lover, Park Su Jeong, and...

arranged for people to kill his own son, Choi Han Kyul.

Last night, Kang Hae Seong turned himself in

and confessed to his involvement in

the illegal activities of Chairman Choi Il Doo.

The documents provided by Director Kang Hae Seong,

revealed a secret fund and how they were used,

and the names of the politicians who were involved.

Additionally, there was a list of those under Chairman Choi Il Doo's control

in the law enforcement and justice fields.

The amount of bribes paid total over 10 billion won.

* 10 billion won = approx. 9 million US dollars

The investigation into the Choi Il Doo case has now expanded to include Congressmen

Park Sang Won, Kim Sung Soo, and Kim Dong Goo.

Director Kang Hae Seong stated

that these Congressmen were instrumental in having Choi Il Doo released previously

and having reporter Jin Do Hyuk arrested and incarcerated

by using the influence of their positions.

Ask that evidence against Choi Il Doo be made public!

Please come and sign the petition!

[Re-investigate Choi Il Doo!] [Let the video be the proof.]

Please come here and sign!

We must prove that Choi Ii Doo murdered someone.

We need your support! Please come here and sign.

Please sign the petition.

- Demand that Choi Il Doo be re-investigated! - Re-investigate!

- Re-investigate! - Re-investigate!

We need to promote that Choi Ii Doo undergo another investigation.

Thank you!

Under the duress of threats, Oh Dong Ki has

changed his statement regarding the Park Su Jeong kidnapping case.

It's also been revealed that Chairman Choi was behind the negative comments about her on the internet.

People are gathering a petition to re-open the case and to allow

the video tapes as evidence of his crimes.

There is a growing demand on the part of the public,

requesting law enforcement to allow the use of the video clips.

[Choi Il Doo's Murder Investigation Videos] [Released to the Public]

Do you want to see him for one last time?

I have better things to do.

Is this guy crazy?

Why did you kill the boy yourself?

[Choi Il Doo's Murder Investigation Videos] [Released to the Public]

Since it was a direct order from you, I wanted to take care of it myself.

Citizens who saw the video clips on the news are shocked and angry.

[Choi Il Doo's Murder Investigation Videos] [Released to the Public]

More citizens are demanding that Chairman Choi Il Doo be severely punished.

Choi Il Doo is facing charges of murdering Choi Han Kyul and Gong Chil Sung,

and the attempted murder of Kang Hae Seong in a hit and run.

There are allegations of various criminal activities to cover up his crimes.

Kang Hae Seong, ex-Director of DAESE Group,

having confessed to trying to hide the evidence, is also facing charges.

[Young Deok Daily]

Chairman Choi Il Doo, who used media coverage as a weapon to exert his power,

can now expect judgement under the law,

thanks to Young Deok Daily's reporters who never once gave up on this case.

Eun Sik, this photo that you took...

Really?

It all began with Young Deok Daily,

letting people know that even one person is important in their drive for signatures.

Now the total number including on-line signatures, is over 10,420,000.

[Young Deok Daily displays power of the citizens]

They showed through this petition drive,

[Display of empowerment by the citizens]

how much power the citizens can have when they unite and stand together common goal.

People are saying Young Deok Daily taught them a great lesson.

In other news, due to his being framed by Choi Il Doo and jailed for one year, Young Deok Daily's Chairman,

Jo Young Deok, is to be released.

Chairman! You've been through much!

You suffered quite a lot inside, right?

Chairman, look there.

Father!

Thank you.

Okay! Let's go.

[2 Years Later]

[DAESE Daily]

[President Kim invited to the North] [Will the North problem get solved?]

[Heavy snow causes traffic jams] [but mature citizens deal with it.]

[Young Deok Daily]

[Person accused as a thief for helping,] [decides anyways to do community service.]

[Woman stuck for one hour because] [snow removal truck was broken.]

Again.

Thank you, baby.

You're welcome.

Because of your cookies and smiles, I'm energetic for the whole day.

You drink this everyday and you still think it's nice? Aren't you tired of it?

Oh, right.

This... is for you.

What is this?

- Ta-da... - Wooooww...

It's a handphone.

To mark our 100th day of marriage, I bought you a phone that's the same as mine.

Thank you so much. But I didn't get you anything.

Ah! Really...

It seems like I need to get married faster. I can't watch this anymore.

We have no problem with that.

It's who you marry that is the issue.

What do you mean, stepfather?

I mean that it cannot be Jin Do Hyuk, Detective daughter.

Why are you starting that again this early in the morning, Detective's father?

They say that you can't keep love, sneezing, and farting a secret.

- So just let her be. - Should I?

Ahi...! You're becoming unbearable.

- Beautiful, right? - It is really beautiful.

What are you doing? The dust is going everywhere!

Trimming down my tummy. You think it's easy keeping this shape?

If you're talking about the tummy, I should be the one slimming.

Why? I find it very cute.

Isn't your tummy the beauty spot of Sang Chul?

I like Sang Chul's body shape.

Really?

Why are you pouting so early in the morning?

Why? Jin Jung is anything troubling you?

Min Yu, got a toy train from his father for Christmas.

Ah! Didn't grandfather buy you an extra big ship?

Uncle! I am talking about a train now.

Whether ship or train, they're both toys, right?

No... If I say "train" would that also mean "car" as well as "train".

Are you trying to argue with me?

Uncle, how can it be called arguing? He's only stating facts.

- Right? - Yes.

I know, I know. Later, you can go with uncle and buy a train. Okay?

No!

This boy, really... You're always doing this now so we'll buy what you want!

When did I say I wanted something and you bought it for me?

- This boy, really... - Mother.

He says he wants to change his hairstyle.

Why?

They always make fun of me, saying that I look like a grandmother.

I know. Uncle will also take you to the barber shop. Okay?

I want to go with Grandfather.

I know, let's go together.

Ah! Stop chatting. Let's eat rice, eat rice.

Oh, tastes so good.

I know I shouldn't be saying this,

but, I liked him better when he couldn't talk.

See, the way you two talk is so irritating.

Aigoo.

Uncle, your noise level doesn't lose to ours.

What she means is...

you don't know that you are noisier.

Correct, correct, correct.

I know. I apologize.

Let's eat.

Oh, these stairs...

We're off to work now. Hope to have a nice day, too.

- Mother, we're going. - I know. Take care.

- Take care. - Let's go.

I don't know why but, I was thinking of what happened two years ago.

So was I.

Do you know about the Choi Il Doo case?

What? Ah, I know.

That time, the investigation team didn't believe in us.

We were all alone in the battle.

The enemy was stronger than we expected.

Gong Chil Sung.

Gong Chil Sung.

It seems Criminal Investigative Team 2 needs some additional training.

Their results have been poor lately.

Ease up a little, Criminal Investigation Team 3 Leader.

We have been going easy.

But those bad guys just seem to fall into our team's hands.

To another day, let's get out there.

Strength.

Strength.

[Criminal Investigation Team 3]

If not for us, Choi Il Doo would now be the President.

Correct. Correct. He was put in prison because of us.

How long do you want to keep the Choi Il Doo soup boiling?!

Fast, fast! Get back to work!

Aren't you going to catch the bad guys?!

- Yes.

First, this information...

This is....

[First Edition! Yong Deok Daily]

Ah! Really?

Ah! Yes. Okay, I know.

Please wait a little and I will come there for the interview. Okay.

How do you say "pyuntae"* in English?

* pervert

"Pyuntae"...?

Aren't you the expert on that?

Let me see....

"Pyun ... tae".

O-kay.

- Pervert. - Pervert.

What?

- Pervert. - Pervert.

- You are so good. - You are right.

The English version guide will never come out if you keep carrying on like this.

Shut up!

Hello. This is Young Deok Daily reporter, Jin Do Hyuk.

Where?

"120 Minutes Forum"...?

Ah, okay.

Then I'll reconsider and let you know.

Okay.

That TV program is inviting you on their show again?

Is it for one or two shows?

Because the way I talk, it will cause their viewer ratings to go sky high.

On a TV screen, my darling would not look too bad either.

Do you... still need to talk like that?

No.

You can't go. If you went on that show, you would become way too popular.

My baby, are you jealous?

Only those with nothing can be jealous.

You are so cute... Don't even need a stylist...

[Who and how within DAESE Group?]

[What about DAESE Newspaper?]

[Why Choi Il Doo?]

[What about Kang Hae Seong?]

[The...truth...always...comes...out!!]

No matter what the situation... the truth will always win.

We will end the topic of Young Deok Daily here.

I have never done this in other sessions.

I'll give a special speech on self-preservation.

For self-preservation, the most important thing is...

Hello.

You are ex-Director of DAESE Group, Kang Hae Seong, right?

Okay. Bravo.

Hello. I am Young Deok Daily's reporter, Jin Do Hyuk.

Why are you here?

Ah! I have waited two years to interview Kang Hae Seong.

I never accept interviews.

Hey! Can't you try to cooperate here? Aren't you happy to see me?

How have you been?

Here.

Thank you.

Hey! She is now... my girlfriend.

Furthermore, your expression here is not acceptable.

Will you come with us?

Can I?

The aged kimchi here is really delicious.

We often come here to eat.

Thank you.

Go on in.

Right. If you want to work, then come to Young Deok Daily.

You...! Can't you just say "Thank you"?

He's more at ease now, right?

I'm not so sure of that. I still don't like him.

Just now, were you really jealous?

Really? Jealous of what?

Aigoo! Really...

Let's go.

Just tell.

I am also a guy, a guy.

Anyway, whenever you cook I need to cook it again.

So, just come out of the kitchen.

How come this kid has no cooking talent?

Ahmoni* is too stingy in praising people.

* Deferential title for older female - usually a grandmotherly type

Can you please not call me "Ahmoni"?

If not "Ahmoni"*, should I call you "Ahbonim"*?

* Ahmoni = grandma / Ahbonim = grandmother

You are so thick-skinned...

Hae... Hae Seong!

I just come here to help out a few times.

What is your reason for applying to work at Young Deok Daily?

Because Young Deok Daily only reports the truth.

You say it so well. Welcome aboard.

Shut up!

Saying "reports the truth" is too simple. This isn't showing us her intellect.

So young and pretty...

I mean... you have a breath of spirit that will do.

Ahhhh.... If I ask who you most respect as a reporter...

For his reporting on the Choi Il Doo murder case,

the reporter who won an award, Jin Do Hyuk.

Oh, not bad.

Hey... I also am a reporter that other newspapers want!

That story doesn't have an ending.

Can you recite the four principles of any reporter working at Young Deok Daily?

Only reporters that work with their legs are real reporters.

A reporter must have perseverance when doing a special news report.

Only reporters with patience are able to complete special news reports.

In an interview that generates sweat...

In an interview...

other news will also come out!

- Chairman!

There was definitely a smell of alcohol on his breath during the consultation.

He left behind two small children...

As if that isn't enough,

they're saying we're making all this up just to get some money out of them.

How can the world be this unfair? How can a person be like that?

I heard something happened this morning because a doctor had been drinking.

Right.

His breath even smelt of alcohol and he almost got into a fight while treating the patient.

- Really? - That's why...

Who is it you're talking about?

Is it that drunken doctor who mistreated the patients?

- That guy... - Wretch...

- Bad guy... - Alcoholic...

- Doctor... - It's him, right?

Tell me how can you perform surgery when you are drunk?

What are you saying?

[Young Deok Daily]

If I bite on something, I never let go.

Even if I have to chase it to the earth's edge, I will reveal the truth to the world.

I'm Young Deok Daily reporter, Jin Do Hyuk.

I wanted to say... sorry to you

You've been calling me...

whenever you've had too much to drink.

Is it because you're missing me...

or out of habit?
