Gong Chil Sung…

committed suicide.

Why did Gong Chil Sung commit suicide?

I, Choi Il Doo, want to once again seek election.

- Choi Il Doo! Choi Il Doo! Choi Il Doo!

[Economic Development, Protecting our Citizens.] [Let's open a future of hope for Korea.]

- Choi Il Doo! Choi Il Doo! Choi Il Doo!

He definitely....

killed him.

Because he has no morals,

he killed him.

Ah! Not a bad day today.

You can still laugh?

[Progress for economy and citizens] [Our hope, Choi Il Doo]

Everyone, please go ahead first.

You can still laugh after killing a friend who worked with you for the past 20 years.

Wh... what…?

What are you talking about?

Gong Chil Sung committed suicide.

How can that be…?

You don't know about this?

Gong Chil Sung hung himself...

just like your father.

Let's go.

I heard your entire conversation with him,

when you two were on the phone.

I was abducted… I'm sure both of you are aware of it.

I really don't know what the two of you are talking about.

This is not the place to be asking questions.

What is this behavior of yours?

I think you sent me a message.

What are you talking about?

I'm talking about Gong Chil Sung abducting a police officer of the Republic of Korea,

and the two of you knew of it.

Could it have been orchestrated by Choi Il Doo?

Thanks to you, I get to stay alive.

Should I say "thank you" to you?

What are you talking about?

I have absolutely no idea about this.

You thought that by killing this person,

all the despicable things you've done would disappear?

Whether your son, a friend, or someone like you...

Who would kill somebody and still want to be elected our President?!

Stop dreaming.

I will definitely not let you go.

Understand?!

When I get evidence of Gong Chil Sung's murderer,

I'll see you again.

~ Hero ~ Episode 13

Hey, have you called home yet?

What?

Oh, yes.

Is there any evidence that we can use to verify that he killed him?

Gong Chil Sung is definitely not the type who would commit suicide.

Of course, we know this.

Everything including the account books, is gone.

It was obviously Choi Il Doo who ordered this.

Who the hell is it this time?

The man who you caught and interrogated regarding Gong Chil Sung,

do you still remember him?

Park Kwang Gi.

I'm sure his name is Park Kwang Gi.

If we're talking about a murder here,

it's way too clean.

If we're talking about murder,

then, it definitely took place in Gong Chil Sung's car.

Ah… Do you happen to still remember the number plate of Gong Chil Sung's car?

Even though we chased him every day I still can't remember.

36-0875.

Please go and search all car dump yards immediately. You must find the car before it is destroyed.

- Detective Na. - Yes?

Please appeal for an autopsy,

and to prohibit Park Kwang Gi from fleeing the country, send out a nationwide alert for his arrest.

Let's start by researching his background.

Yes.

What are you looking for?

All documents, such as the account books, were taken away.

I used to warn Gong Chil Sung.

He must have planned for Choi Il Doo taking action against him.

Although I didn't expect him to kill Gong Chil Sung,

he must have been prepared to respond.

He definitely had a card up his sleeve,

in the event he was abandoned he must've hidden it somewhere.

I'm certain that he wouldn't let things go like that.

Gong Chil Sung hung himself...

just like your father.

What exactly happened, Chairman?

Do you... really not know about this?

You're right...

I ordered someone to kill Gong Chil Sung.

That action... is way too dangerous.

Isn't this what you wished for too?

What do you mean by that?

President Gong said so earlier.

He said... that you joined us for the purpose of revenge.

He also said something similar to me before.

He mentioned something from the past that I don't even remember.

Did he?

I was very young at that time.

I didn't know that I'd have such destiny with both President Gong and yourself.

But...

what was that comment about your "message"?

I don't know either.

My god… How can they destroy... a woman's face like this?

Aihh.. Seriously…

I'm not a woman. I'm a Lieutenant.

This is nothing.

How am I going to face your father when I pass away?

I don't know how much he'll scold me for pushing you into the path of death.

- Mom, seriously… - No more.

I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Hurry, dig in.

Ah... But, Mom…

I didn't know that one of our officers is a regular customer at "~tesoro~".

That's the reason why. If it wasn't for him, I'd have gone to the police station.

- You have to thank him for me, okay? - Okay.

Mom, what's wrong with you?

It's normal for police officers, to encounter such.

I'm sorry.

I always feel that I made you get involved.

If it wasn't for me, you wouldn't have chosen such a dangerous job.

Mom!

I got it. I got it. I'm sorry.

Dig in. Hurry, dig in.

- Stop crying! - Okay. Okay.

I got it. I won't cry anymore.

I'll definitely protect the two of you.

Don't be too worried. Got it?

Fighting!

- Enjoy your meal. - It looks delicious. So delicious…

You've become so considerate, you know how to treat your sister to a meal.

It feels so good to get out.

Sang Chul can help me take care of the children.

It's been awhile since I've come to a place like this without bringing the children.

What?

Do you have something to tell me?

Gong Chil Sung…

is dead.

Gong Chil Sung?

The person who drove the truck in...?

Yeah.

How did he die?

I'm not so sure. It may be...

- a suicide. - Suicide?

How could he commit suicide?

He should be in prison for the rest of his life, to pay for all his evil deeds.

It's good for him to be dead.

It's really a good thing for him to be dead. That bastard… really died well.

Have some…

It's right for him to be dead. That bastard, right?

Chil Sung...

Don't call me like that!

It's better for you to surrender, before it's too late.

I will definitely not betray the Chairman.

But, Choi Il Doo will betray you.

Don't joke.

Do you know how I've spent the past 20 years of my life?!

I should have prevented this from happening.

I should have stopped him.

He doesn't have parents, or any siblings.

Choi Il Doo…

He probably lived by believing in that one person.

Such an idiot…

Hyung-nim,

to be able to get close enough to do it, it must have been... one of his people.

- Sang Chul… - Yes?

Go and find out who that person is.

Leave it to me, hyung-nim.

I want it to end here.

I can't allow any more people to be sacrificed by Choi Il Doo.

A betrayer breeds betrayers.

One death calls for more deaths.

I have something I need you to do for me.

Even though I've asked you to conceal the matter,

there's a possibility that the man who murdered Gong Chil Sung,

Park Kwang Gi, will betray me.

Before the police and Young Deok Daily find him,

go and meet with this man, Park Kwang Gi.

After you've met him...

kill him.

Why are you surprised?

Before you're betrayed, you should pull out the weeds, right?

Here… Bottoms up.

Okay.

From now on,

I only have you by my side.

I really don't understand why I have such a strange feeling.

The man I wanted to kill has died, so why don't I feel excited?

I definitely can't just let it end this way. Definitely!

I'm certain… certain that Gong Chil Sung left something behind.

If I don't lock Choi Il Doo up in prison...

Where do you think he would hide it?

If I was Park Kwang Gi, I'd definitely not trust Choi Il Doo.

He'll be tormented for the rest of his life, thinking he's being followed to be murdered.

If Gong Chil Sung really left something...

... it'll definitely be in Park Kwang Gi's hands.

This was a time for him to be even more cautious,

yet he killed Gong Chil Sung.

Choi Il Doo made a wrong move.

It'll be over once we've slit the wrapping...

and opened up the hidden truth.

He must be seriously hurt.

Uncle will pray for your quick recovery. Fighting!

[Choi Il Doo announces he'll again run] [in election for President.]

- Are you ready to be discharged? - Yes.

What's wrong?

[Security firm's President...]

[...Gong Chil Sung, committed suicide.]

He's a person who kills even his own son.

It was inevitable for Gong Chil Sung... to be killed.

However, who was it that sent you these flowers?

[To: Park Su Jeong]

Wait a minute.

Student…

Student…!

Why are you running away?

I'm sorry. It's my fault.

What is?

There.

I posted a notice on the website, mentioning that I was looking for a job.

Someone contacted me so I went there.

I'm not sure about the rest though.

You didn't know what would happen if you went, right?

Yeah.

It was mentioned that I only had to write stuff like propaganda posts.

What propaganda?

I... I'm sorry.

[Name: Gaeng Gaeng Comment: Republic of Korea's] [Choi Il Doo is so unique! I love him.]

[Name: Park Jun Hyeong] [Comment: Choi Il Doo is a murderer. A murderer!]

[Name: Park Jun Hyeong] [Comment: Choi Il Doo should be President!]

Name: Ha Ga Yeon] [Comment: Choi Il Doo is the big bad guy. The bad guy.]

[Name: Ha Ga Yeon] [Comment: Choi Il Doo is the best!!!!!!!!!]

He was really on the lookout.

We didn't want to get caught, so we only posted inoffensive comments.

He was observing us the entire time. I felt so suffocated.

If you find a person named Park Kwang Gi and inform me,

I will give you even more.

Hyu… Hyung-nim.

[Young Deok Daily]

[DAESE Daily paid high wages to hired workers] [to post negative comments about Park Su Jeong.]

[People associated with DAESE Daily caught trying] [to hire part-time workers to post negative comments.]

Does this look like they had a fight?

He must have struggled very hard.

Take some photos.

Looking at the injuries on his neck,

the scars and bruises indicate that it could be either strangulation or suicide.

Furthermore...

looking at his nails,

there is some with blood and cotton underneath them.

Aigoo… You guys are here.

What is it?!

We're dressed up in red for an interview to verify the truth.

What are you guys doing? Hurry, take a seat.

[Economic Development, Protecting our Citizens.] [Let's open a future of hope for Korea]

Then…

What kind of interview is it for you to come here,

Young Deok Daily's Director, Jo Young Deok?

He's not the Director.

I'm also a Chairman. The same level as you.

Thanks to you, I got promoted.

Stop joking around and please leave.

I do everything except joke around.

Let's stop all the greetings.

Reporter Jin... go ahead and ask some questions.

Chairman Choi Il Doo...

it's not long since you killed your own son.

How could you kill yet another person?

Director Kang,

[No. 1, Choi Il Doo.] [There is no chance to regret]

for how long do we have to suffer these accusations from them?

Have you still not yet woken up after being investigated?

In the future, if you want to kill someone,

use your own hands.

Don't let the innocent be the murderers.

The police found traces of a fight and some rope in Gong Chil Sung's car.

What do you think about that?

It's devastating to me for an old friend of mine to commit suicide.

But the possibility that it's murder, makes me feel even more regretful.

I hope the police can find the murderer.

You asshole…

You found out, that Kang Hae Seong deliberately got close to you and your daughter.

What's the reason behind him doing that?

Do you know Kang Hae Seong's reason for getting close to you?

Hey, Jin Do Hyuk!

We're just doing this to prevent another murder case.

Tomorrow, there'll be an article.

The police will also be taking action.

Park Kwang Gi...

will definitely fall into my hands first.

Although I don't know who murdered Gong Chil Sung,

that person has absolutely no relationship with our Chairman. Moreover...

articles in Young Deok Daily have absolutely no effect on us.

You should know that well enough?

But if how you used DAESE Daily's reporters becomes known, who knows

how things will change?

Remember what I said?

If people only believe in and stand on the side of the powerful,

wait and see... just who remains standing by your side.

You made the wrong move by killing Gong Chil Sung.

He was the only one who stayed by your side and believed in you.

Don't feel relieved just because you've killed him.

He's a person who would seek revenge, even when he's no longer alive.

Get ready some articles to refute theirs.

I got it.

What about Park Kwang Gi?

We're looking for him.

What are you doing?! You better find him soon!

Thank you for giving your precious time to attend this meeting.

Thank you.

Gong Chil Sung... was the suspect in Choi Han Kyul's murder. Furthermore,

thinking he was a liability, Choi Il Doo had him killed, making it look like suicide.

Do you have any evidence?

Take a look at these documents.

These are documents that both Young Deok Daily and the police have found so far.

Actually, we consider Young Deok Daily articles to be well written.

But, you guys are aware that such past things as a Mafia leader and third-rate magazines…

I'm aware of that, but you shouldn't believe them so easily.

However, we only write articles that are true and verified.

Let's see... Moreover, it's DAESE Daily.

You're sure?

I've entered there in disguise and verified it myself.

I'm well aware you all are very discreet.

But, I wish that each one of you would look into it.

I beg you.

[Office of the Prosecutor]

Choi Il Doo... Choi Il Doo...

Looking from all your past cases and the evidence, can't we be sure that it was a murder case?

Gong Chil Sung told me so before.

Furthermore, I can be a witness as well.

Okay. Let's give it a try.

Seriously… Thank you so much.

But, this time it is a really big case.

We'll have to be more cautious than ever.

Park Kwang Gi…

We need that man.

We're looking for him.

Let's look for him together.

The Prosecution Office will also assist you with this.

Thank you.

With this case...

I'm betting with my own life.

Since a decision has been made, let's do it well together.

The…

autopsy is over. It also verified that it was murder.

What should we do with Gong Chil Sung?

[ Young Deok Ilbo.] [ Respectfully we pray.]

When you get there... you must apologize to all those... you have murdered.

That way, everyone can rest in peace.

Reporter Jin Yeon and his wife…

when the truck hit them...

the excitement of that moment, is still very vivid.

If you don’t want to meet a cruel death, don't interfere anymore.

He used to have so many underlings, yet none came to pay respect.

Even Choi Il Doo, who likes to act, didn't come.

Because it wouldn't be beneficial to his image,

that dirty fellow, who used his son's death to promote himself...

Are you feeling... sad?

I didn't want Gong Chil Sung to die but imprisoned for life.

For... my parents, Han Kyul, and everyone else he murdered, he should pay a lifetime full of remorse.

That way…

he won't have died needlessly.

This is the very first time that I've had thoughts of wanting to kill Choi Il Doo...

and using my very own hands to kill him.

But I can't do that.

Even if that person ought to die,

no one has the right to kill another person.

[Young Deok Daily]

Let's eat.

Eat more.

How is it? Is it good to have moved here?

Yeah. It's... more convenient to go to the market.

Hey, you're not even the one who's doing the groceries.

What about you, Jung?

Huh?

He said that except for too many stairs which he's scared of, the rest is all okay.

How is it? Is everything still okay?

Yeah. Everything is okay. It feels more like a family this way.

Then, enjoy. Let's eat. Children, let's eat.

- Eat more. - We'll eat well.

I hope it's up to your taste.

After you enter it, click here and you'll see all of the subway train routes.

You're not always sure of the route, are you? Using this is more convenient, right?

Only 15 years have passed and yet it has become so much more complicated.

Of course.

If you're still not sure about anything, just click this button. You'll find it.

And, I've registered this as a phone linked with mine. I’m the one you have to call the most from now on.

Here. Try it.

Park Kwang Gi... do you think we can find him?

In a society where money is everything,

there are still some people that consider loyalty above all.

We’ll have to wait and see how their hearts direct them.

Has another publication contacted you yet?

Not yet.

DAESE Daily.

Go Ju Li Daily.

Noble Daily.

Country Daily.

- Oh! - Okay, okay...

Korea's DAESE Daily, originally a publication that exposes the truth, now only thinks of ways to fake the truth and argue about articles.

They really wrote it. I didn't expect this to happen.

How exciting! It's great to have someone else write it.

But... what they wrote is so much similar to our articles.

Ah, seriously...

I don't know. It's not the truth, so we're uncertain about it too.

What do you mean by "creating fake articles"? We definitely don't do such things!

Hello. This is DAESE Daily....

...DAESE Daily, originally a publication that exposes the truth, now only thinks of ways to fake...

Even if people don't believe in Young Deok Daily, but do believe in Country Daily...

this is totally a different case.

However, it's a public opinion publication.

It's different from the nature of our publication. You don't have to be worried.

So you're saying that it has absolutely no connection with politics?

What are you talking about?

What they've reported...

What exactly do they mean by that?

It's inevitable these things happen as the election gets closer.

So stop worrying and write some objecting articles.

The situation is chaotic!

If we don't clear our names, even more malicious articles will surface from other publications and TV stations.

If this further expands and spreads out, it will be hard to redeem ourselves.

You should know this very well, Team Leader.

We must prevent that kind of situation from happening, right?

I hope you'll deal with this case positively.

I think it will be hard to do so.

I can no longer handle the private situations of you two!

And our reporters think this way too.

How dare they rebel.

They are just some reporters and yet they dare to rebel!

It's my fault.

I should have dealt with this better.

I'll deal with it better this time. Don't worry.

Do you know why I had Jin Do Hyuk's parents killed?

It's true, we could have just fired him or found other ways.

However, I really wanted to kill him.

Because he totally challenged me and my future!

He dared to threaten me.

I only did a little something on that re-development project.

The first person who rebelled against me was Jin Do Hyuk's father.

The first person who challenged me by not doing what I asked him to do, was Jo Young Deok.

Because of these two persons... look at me now.

Director Kang...

I don't care if DAESE Daily or our reporters get hurt.

Just fire those who aren't willing to listen and keep those willing to follow orders.

I got it.

Once I become the President, every single one of them will come back to my side.

Humans... always love power and money.

Because they think if they stay close, they might get some of the crumbs off of the table.

I do know that those are just rumors with no evidence.

People will still talk whether they agree or not.

That's right.

If the gossip rags get into the act of spreading it,

it will be that much more difficult to control.

If you’ll give it to us, we can kill the story at the appropriate time.

Is that possible?

People always get heated up and cooled down fast.

But after all, it's a very big case.

There's a good reason for both of you to have come here.

In DAESE Daily's entertainment section, we will write her up as the new ‘up and comer’ to watch,

and share her profile with the major advertisers in our paper, so that she becomes familiar to them.

Yes...

Of course we got assistance from the Prosecutor's Office.

What did they say? Will they again help us write articles?

Ah... Seriously... that was just our Special Issue.

Please trust us that we will find Park Kwang Gi.

Country Daily can also help us.

- You're right. How great is that? - Thank you.

It's better for you to go and greet them.

This way please.

Okay. Okay. I got it.

If you have more to say, just send me an email. Okay.

Enjoy your day.

I wish that there weren't such gatherings as this.

Although we didn't write the article,

there is trustworthiness in what Young Deok Daily says.

What is it you want to say?

I asked... you all to come because of an other issue.

All of you, take a look first.

[Country Daily: Anonymous person,] [has scandalous affair with sport celebrity.]

[Nation's News: Soccer celebrity and CF celebrity,] [goes overseas to gamble and participate in a drug party.]

[Light Star Daily: Soccer and CF celebrity,] [gambling overseas and smuggling drugs.]

[Sports Today: CF and Soccer celebrity,] [go overseas to gamble and smuggle drugs.]

[Shocking news from Celebrity couple...] [Gambling and drugs...]

[CF celebrity participates in drug party.]

[Scandalous affair!]

- What is this? - Who is this? Is this for real?

- What is happening here? - Is this for real?

[DAESE Daily: Soccer star and CF celebrity's scandalous] [affair. Participated in overseas gambling and drugs party.]

What's this?!

What's wrong, Mom? What's wrong?

Aihh... What's wrong? Why are you so uptight?

Isn't this soccer player married?!

What the hell is happening here?!

Forget about scandal... What else? Drugs!?

Seriously... there's not even one person that can be trusted in this world.

Mom, this soccer player isn't he the one that you like?

However, isn't Uncle's article printed in the other newspapers today?

That's right... That's right. I'd forgotten about it.

Then, the article about Gong Chil Sung isn't...

Okay. I got it.

Thank you.

What did Country Daily say?

If I were their editor-in-chief, I'd write these flashy articles too.

Reporters disapproving of reporters... that's not so easy.

Everyone would be happy if there was big, flashy news like this every day.

No one will look at the other articles.

Aihhh.... "Scandalous World".

This Kang Hae Seong is really so intellectual.

He is so intellectual that...

he's now doing the kind of articles that MONDAY Seoul use to publish.

I actually liked him. But now, I really can't take it anymore.

You're right. Once I knew everything was fake, I got goosebumps all over me.

Yeah! Especially that woman... she really knows how to act innocent.

Yet, behind our backs, she has an affair with a married man and is smuggling drugs.

The ones to pity are his wife and children.

- You're right. How are they going to live from now on? - Aren't you cold?

How come the bus isn't here yet.

I heard that there's a new type of illegal drug appearing in the market recently.

I didn't expect the two of them to be the smugglers. Look at this.

What are you guys doing?

Didn't you read this big news?

They don't only smuggle but also export the drugs. This is a really big problem.

That's not all.

One by one those who participated in the party will appear.

Our country will be in chaos again for awhile.

What are we doing? We should be looking for Park Kwang Gi.

I will make a reservation.

- Cheers. - Cheers.

Hey... DAESE Daily reports the news.

Choi Il Doo looks to be honest and everything he does seems so too.

Stop with all the politics. I don't think it's interesting.

Oh, yeah... they say they even do drugs!

Ah... Why did that fellow do such an obvious thing?

It's such a disgrace to the country. A disgraceful thing...

Do you think he will divorce? What will happen to his wife?

What kind of person can he be?

He killed his own son.

I wonder if he'll be fired from the soccer team?

He certainly won't be attending any more variety shows.

Hey!

Do you think it makes sense... for that kind of man to be our President?

- Oppa. - Who are you?

Stop being so fascinated by such articles.

You should be less captivated by the personal lives of others!

Hey, this guy...

Think thoroughly, the both of you...

I beg of you to be less intrigued by it!

Oppa!

Hey! If you're drunk, hurry home and sleep.

Why are you acting so insanely here?

Let's go.

Hey... Listen to what I'm going to say. Please listen to me.

DAESE Daily... hires people to post nasty comments.

You... Didn't you mention that you've seen an article? Huh?

Choi Il Doo...! wants to kill the woman who gave birth to his own son.

What does that mean? Huh?

That means he killed his own son!

You... Don't you know this?

Then, why are you keeping silent?

Do you want to live in a country that has him as our President?!

Oppa, let's go.

I beg you...

Pay less attention to those kind of articles.

Please also tell that to others... tell them that you know.

That will be enough.

Please...

Let's go.

Please, I beg you!

You did well! You're still the best when it comes to handling things.

Are you starting to be modest now?

Triumph is just in front of our eyes. The remaining matters should also be handled well.

Now, all we're left with is dealing with Park Kwang Gi quietly.

I got it. It's time for the meeting. Please go in.

Do you know something?

You're becoming more and more like me every day.

I've been having those kind of thoughts all day.

No matter how hard I battle using the truth,

what people are more curious about is... fake articles.

It's not that I don't know.

But I'm acting as if I don't know, and not wanting to listen.

It's not an easy thing to do to turn the truth into a fake.

I thought, the enemy that I'd have to battle would be DAESE Daily.

That Choi Il Doo and Kang Hae Seong are the enemy.

However, that doesn't seem to be the case.

The enemy that I have to battle is...

those readers.

Why do you think that Choi Il Doo established DAESE Daily?

Choi Il Doo has those readers' eyes and ears.

He is such a dirty man and yet, he owns the best weapon in this world.

You have a weapon too.

What would that be?

What is the weapon that I own?

You are a good man.

That's so disappointing...

- You think that's disappointing? - Yeah. Disappointing...

I feel it's so disappointing.

But, that disappointed heart is your weapon.

Because of that good heart, many reporters will trust you and follow you.

Don't you have an ex-Mafia leader, too?

As well as the police, you have the Prosecutor from the Prosecution Office.

Don't they trust you and aren't they helping?

Doesn't your heart believe that even just one would be enough?

Kimchi, fermented to just how you like it. I brought it especially for you.

These people... how can they hit and punch someone this much?

Hurry and eat your meal. Go and study once you're done.

Study hard and become a talented man, so you won't have to live a life bullied by others.

Understand?

If you don't have education and abilities, you have no power or potential.

That's why, even if you're beaten till this state, no one will have position or ability to stand up for you.

Don't worry.

I won't live like Dad.

Hello.

Hello?

Oh, Ho Kyung...

Okay. Thank you.

Thanks for your hard work.

What did they say? Another country? Seoul?

No.

Looks like we have to wait a little longer.

They said that we can find him near the motel on Myuk Gi Road in Shin Do Dong.

It's lucky for him to be able to stay alive till now.

Then, let's hurry and go find him.

[Family Style Meals. We deliver snacks.]

- I'm back. - Okay.

Number 302? Okay, I got it. Okay.

Where? Is it another delivery?

Let me do it.

I think it's better for you to go to the motel and collect back all the plates.

- I can do that too. - Hurry! Hurry!

Oppa, you're so handsome.

Don't be this way. Seriously...

What's wrong?

Here... Here... Take a look at this. Have you seen this man?

- Yeah. - Where? Where?

I've seen him at the motel in front of here.

You saw him at a motel? Which motel? Which one is it? Think clearly... You have to be certain.

I think it's the motel in front of here. But then, I also think...

- What is it?! - Aigoo.

Who is it?

Aigoo. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Please continue....

Hello. Excuse me.

Oppa, your coffee is here.

I didn't order any coffee.

They said that it's a service provided to any long-term customer.

They said that it's free of charge.

Hurry and open the door. I still have to go to the room next door.

I'm leaving then. I'm really leaving.

For how long did you think you could hide?

Did you bring the police with you?

I've come to advise you to surrender.

I'm not going to do something that stupid.

If you don't, you'll be dead. We're here to save your life!

Choi Il Doo... won't be able to kill me.

What exactly is it?

What's the card you're holding in your hand, huh?

No matter what's in your possession,

Choi Il Doo will still kill you.

Since we were able to find you, it's just a matter of time till Choi Il Doo finds you.

Haven't you found Park Kwang Gi?

Please hurry up.

Yes, Chairman.

He said that he has something to tell you.

What have you been doing?

They have an arrest warrant. An arrest warrant!

- What happened? - Park Kwang Gi has been captured.

Don't you know?

Till the end... the revenge you've been trying to take is this?

That is, to let Gong Chil Sung die under my hand and then send me off to prison?

Can you call it revenge if it ends only like this?

What?

I wouldn't even have started if it was going to end this way.

My goal... is the same as yours, Chairman.

I will try my very best to get you out,

so don't worry... and just wait.

Are you guys done with your talking?

Choi Il Doo...

we're arresting you as suspect for the murder of Gong Chil Sung.

This won't go as you wish.

Do you want to punch me?

Park Kwang Gi... did he really surrender?

No.

Even with Joo Jae In's and Park Kwang Gi evidence, it doesn't give you much confidence.

You... If you wished to shatter the glass this way,

why didn't you become a gangster and work as Gong Chil Sung's underling?

Why did you become a reporter and dirty the faces of others who are your colleagues?

You're right... I'm doing this for revenge.

Since it's for revenge, it doesn't matter what methods I use. It's enough as long as I do it.

You, who thinks too much...

People who have too many thoughts...

can't take revenge because they don't have the ability to do so, and are too weak.

So, your goal is...

to betray Choi Il Doo the moment he achieves his goal?

Is that it?

So now you know, can you step aside and not get in my way?

Revenge?

What revenge?

Choi Il Doo and you are the same.

You're both the type who won't be forgiving, and will murder anyone who gets in your way.

And the reason for that is you.

If it wasn't for you, things would not have gone this way.

Who do you think you are to steal away all my hard work!

All that I've done in the past 15 years?

Just because of this... because of this, you want to destroy your own life?

Shut your mouth!

I saw it too.

I also saw my parents die tragically in front of my own eyes!

But, so what? What can we achieve from revenge?

Even if I were to take revenge,

would my parents come back to life?

After revenge, do you think your parents will come back to life?!

Shut your mouth.

Shut my mouth?

I can no longer watch others get hurt because of your revenge.

Stop what you're doing.

What if I tell you that I won't?

If there is no solid evidence in 48 hours,

the Chairman will be released.

Really? We'll see after 48 hours.

Whether he's released...

or he stays locked up.

It doesn't matter what they do.

Just make sure that it doesn't fall into the police's hands.

We need to find something within 48 hours.

If not, they'll release Choi Il Doo.

If we discover the proof, Kang Hae Seong will probably be arrested as well.

Did you find it?

Uncle... did you get into a fight with someone?

No fight. Is your uncle someone who gets into fights?

You lost it?!

Then, will this be enough?

How can they do this to such a handsome face?

I thought I was the best looking?

Know when and where to show your jealousy! Please!

If you would pull all the reports that have to do with Chairman Choi Il Doo... I'd really appreciate it.

Hiding the truths like this is being true reporters?

...what do you think you're doing to me?

All you have to do is release the Chairman.

I don't think we'll need to go to court for this.

What exactly happened?
