a lone army transport plane carries its deadly cargo

to a top secret destination.

I'll feel a lot better when we get this cargo on the ground.

Don't worry, it maybe the deadliest

radioactive isotope known

but it's perfectly safe in that lead container.

That isotope is the least of our problems.

and find out its weak-spot.

Something must've changed Aquaman back

into his prehistoric form.

That giant beast is Aquaman.

I'll need these chains to get him back to the Hall of Justice.

[male narrator] Later at the Hall of Justice...

According to the army's information

the radioactive isotope they lost

could cause just such a transformation.

[Superman] It's Aquaman, alright.

And we've got to try to change him back!

Holy dead ends, Batman.

Nothing we've done seems to effect him.

Judging by this EEG, the damage started in Aquaman's brain.

[computer] That is correct, Wonder Woman.

Atomic analysis indicates the only way to reverse the effects

is to give him another dose of

the radioactive isotope within two hours.

Another dose? But that'd make him worse!

[computer] Negative, Batman, if the second dosage is given

at the center of his brain, it will have the reverse effect

and bring Aquaman back to normal.

But that's impossible!

A brain operation like that would kill him.

Maybe not, Wonder Woman.

With the new device the Japanese invented

we may be able to shrink ourselves

down to microscopic size

and travel safely into Aquaman's brain.

It's our only hope, Superman.

Robin and I will recover the isotope.

With this hypodermic gun

we can inject them into Aquaman's veins.

before the Supermobile dissolves!

It's the largest blood vein in the body.

Form there you'll travel into the heart

and on up into the brain.

We'll give it a try, professor.

Hang on, Wonder Woman. We're going to full power.

[male narrator] With only minutes left to save Aquaman

the tiny Supermobile bursts out of the stomach area

piercing the vena cava lining

and traveling towards the distant heart.

We're approaching the heart, Superman.

Change to course, 11 -44.

Roger, Wonder Woman, right ventricle dead ahead.

[instrumental music]

Hold on tight, we're about to make a fast pass

through the heart.

[whooshing]

[dramatic music]

We made it through, Superman.

I just hope we can make it to the brain in time.

There's only three minutes left to save Aquaman.

[male narrator] Meanwhile, as the Aquaman beast

threatens to destroy the metropolis power station...

Holy high voltage, Batman.

Aquaman's headed for the power line.

We've got to stop him before it's too late.

[growling]

[intense music]

[male narrator] Meanwhile at the Hall of Justice...

Something's happened, we've lost contact with them.

We've lost contact with them, Superman.

In that case, we'll have to go at it on our own.

[dramatic music]

We're in the brain. There's only seconds left to use the isotope.

Great Scott, we're being attacked

by some sort of mutated brain cell.

There's only 10 seconds left.

I've got to try to reach the isotope!

[Superman] The radiation is taking effect.

We've got to get out of here, fast!

Hurry, Superman, the shrink effect is starting to wear off!

We're entering the throat area.

[Batman] And Aquaman is changing back to normal.

[dramatic music]
