The amusing banter is
suddenly interrupted

by a warning from the TroubAlert.

On the space monitor,
an alien spacecraft.

Holy teacups, it's a flying saucer!

Looks like a big one.

- It disappeared!
- The picture faded out.

- There it is.
- And there it isn't.

Hm. Wonder why our space monitor
can't hold the picture.

[Marvin] Maybe the saucer
can make itself invisible.

The monitor can't hold
the picture long enough

for our computer to
determine its location

but it is moving in the
direction of Earth.

[male narrator] How right Superman is.

The mysterious space traveler
is heading for Earth.

From a far-off planet, the
saucer is transporting

a family of strange humanoids.

They are the balloon people.

Krim, his wife Gloma,
their daughter Plinky

and a dog, Grunk.

Earth's atmosphere is clean.

We can live on this planet.
Prepare for a landing.

[whooshing]

[intense music]

Ah, jungle. Good.

We are unlikely to run
into Earth people here.

Let us take a look outside.

[door beeps]

[Gloma] Ah. Good, clean, fresh air.

No Earth creatures around.

At the same moment, the Caped Crusaders

driving the kids home, pull
into Marvin's driveway.

I'm sure Wonder Dog would
like to say hi to you two.

Wonder Dog! Hey, Wonder Dog,
the Caped Crusaders are here!

[whimpering]

to pay a social call

on that flying saucer.

but they can move small things.

Yes, they might be trying to clue us

by activating inanimate objects.

hundreds of miles away, it won't work.

telepathy experts.

We know thought waves
can carry only so far.

They must be like radio
waves, we learned in school

the further radio waves
travel, the weaker they get.

That's why they have to
set up booster stations.

if objects are moving.

The Krims might even make a

reaching the saucer.

Maybe they're sending a message to us

but nothing's showing on the screen.

to let the others know
where we're headed.

following the radio beacon.

And in his island fortress,
the ingenious Noah Tall

keeps tabs on the whereabouts
of all the Super Friends.

spaceship. Marvelous.

where the Krims are.

and land on one of the buildings.

Let's start searching for the Krims.

The Crusaders intend to

That powerful stream is driving us back.

cannot approach the island.

Noah Tall's ingenious water
gun blocks the way.

Meanwhile, beneath the ocean

Aquaman swims in the direction
of the homing signal.

Nearing the island, he encounters

a powerful undertow, a bottom current

flowing toward the water gun's inlet.

A suction stream.
And from the same direction.

[water splashing]

As Superman follows the homing beam

his telescopic vision
spots the Batcopter

in its strange predicament.
He streaks to the rescue.

Yipes, I think we've been
spotted by the Stan of Meel.

Man of Steel, Twisty.
Don't be scared.

[whimpers] I'm not s-scared,
I'm j-just putrified.

Try petrified. Don't worry.

I know how to keep
Superman out of our hair.

I'll keep him busy with my cloud buster.

Missiles full of silver iodide.

They seed the clouds and cause rain.

They're computer-aimed at every
cloud over the mainland.

Hey, that could flood the whole country.

Because Superman's going to
intercept all the missiles.

[laughing]

[laughing] Say, that'll keep
our hair out of Superman.

Twisty... Never mind.

Here, just watch.

Look, Robin, missiles, heading
toward the mainland.

Here's the troublemaker,
the water-gun intake.

As the Dynamic Duo finally gains entry

into Noah Tall's domain

Superman, streaking toward the island

is surprised by a missile.
