in an effort to end the
pirating and pillaging

of Captain Shark and
his immobilizing ray.

Then the Wonder Twins activate
their special powers

to save a couple of girls

who try an ill-advised
adventure as stowaways

and almost wind up as
flotsam and jetsam.

Next, the Superfriends
tackle the supernatural

when the Ghost, a villain from the past

threatens the world with an eerie fate.

In far-off India

Superman and Green Lantern
have their hands full

when a huge, wild, white elephant

tears through jungles and villages

on a rampage.
All coming up.

[male narrator] A luxury
liner slowly knifes

through the smooth ocean waters

unaware of the dangers that
are about to befall it.

That ocean liner is a sitting duck

ready to be plucked of its valuables.

- Prepare to strike.
- Aye, aye, Captain Shark.

[beeps]

- Immobilizer ray ready, sir.
- Fire!

[zapping]

Your protective suits will
prevent the immobilizer ray

from affecting you.

Now, board the liner and
secure the valuables.

Vroom

[intense music]

[male narrator] Aboard the luxury liner

the Shark's crewmen ransack
the passengers and ship

of all its valuable contents.

[chuckles] Excellent.

The bounty from these pleasure ships

will pay for a fleet of my attack ships.

With them, I'll put an end
to undersea oil exploration

weapons testing, and
greedy fishing fleets.

I'll be the ocean's supreme protector.

[male narrator] Later, at
the Hall of Justice...

The passengers and crew
are fine, Superfriends.

The yellow glow that immobilized them

has now worn off

but the entire ship has been pirated.

Sounds like the work of the Shark.

Exactly, and his freighter
is well disguised.

You've got to stop him before
he causes more trouble.

Holy needle in a haystack.

One old freighter isn't much to go on.

There must be thousands of 'em.

A tough job, Robin

but that's why they
called the Superfriends.

Let's go.

[male narrator] Minutes later,
Batman, Robin and Aquaman arrive

at the main office of the
Pleasure Cruise Lines.

Judging by the success of
the Shark's first attack

it stands to reason he'll strike again.

A grand liner to Bombay
is leaving any minute.

And according to this shipping list

it'll be carrying millions
of dollars in gold bars

from international banks.

Sounds like a good bet for
the Shark's next target.

We'll follow the liner in the Batboat.

[male narrator] Later that evening

as the grand liner carries
its passengers and gold

toward distant Bombay...

[dramatic music]

Holy fog banks, I can barely see.

Yes, there's no way to tell

which passing ship is the
Shark's attack freighter.

We've got to spot it.
Keep looking.

[music continues]

There's the grand liner.

She's right on course for a blast
from the immobilizer ray.

Let her have it!

[zapping]

Look, the liner's been zapped.

We'll have to find the Shark's
freighter in the fog

and capture it.

[static beeping]

I've picked him up on the
Bat-Radar. Hang on.

Vroom

There's a tiny vessel headed
straight for us, Captain Shark.

Only the Superfriends
would act so bravely

or should I say "foolishly?"

Fire the immobilizer.

[zapping]

Holy immobilizers, that was close!

- Why are we stopping, Batman?
- A simple Bat-trick, Robin.

With the Shark thinking
we're immobilized

he'll continue his pirating operation

and we can catch his men in the act.

to the freighter

and take care of the Shark personally.

are helplessly immobilized

we can continue with our plans.

[dramatic music]

You are part of my plan to lure
Superman and Wonder Woman

to this dungeon.
I failed the first time

but they won't escape me a second time.

And for those who interfere

my dungeon has many secret traps.

[gentleman Jim laughing]

for that monkey suit he wore.

It was the ghost of
Gentleman Jim Craddock.

might give us a clue.

to his grave several years ago.

that was the end of him.

And now he's back, more
powerful than ever.

with a guard outside every door.

We have seen him walk through walls.

helpless against him.

the Ghost decides to

to stop Gentleman Jim.

and the spell will be removed.

with microscopic swamp creatures.
