into a steaming jungle.

Someone's calling on the phone-o-vision.

Super Friends, the Earth is
threatened with extinction.

An unknown planet headed
straight for Earth

will crash into us in
less than 24 hours.

What's causing it?

Our computers indicate a mysterious pull

from somewhere on Earth.

The planet must be stopped.

Yes, and that's clearly a job for me.

An easy one at that.

Up, up and away!

[male narrator] As Superman
flies through space

toward the rapidly approaching planet...

...the evil Fearo watches
on his monitor.

We've failed Cleazor,
Superman is interfering.

Relax, earthling.

I've prepared a little surprise for him.

Our runaway planet is composed
of solid kryptonite.

The only element that
weakens your Superman.

Kryptonite!
A whole planet of it.

[Superman groaning]

[Batman] if that kryptonite planet
hits Superman in his condition

it could be the end.

There's still time.
I'm going up there.

He'll crash in seconds.
I've got to act fast.

He's been rescued, but as
the planet gets closer

he'll get weaker. Now, nothing
can stop the collision.

Yes, and my planet will
take Earth's place.

Orbiting around your sun.

[Cleazor] Today, my solar-powered
weapons cannot function

on the power from our small blue sun.

But tomorrow, with your
mature yellow sun

my armada will be powerful enough

to conquer the entire galaxy.

And I'll be your Minister of Science.

Provided you escape Earth
in time on the rocket

It's all ready, Cleazor.

If we only knew what was
attracting that planet.

I have a strong hunch it's man-made.

If it is, we can seek
it out and destroy it.

But who on Earth is capable
of such an evil threat?

crushing depths of the ocean

Aquaman searches the turbulent seas.

search for Fearo's laboratory.

We found it.

Professor Fearo's laboratory
is right below us.

I'll switch the Batcontrols to hover.

Batman and I will go down on the
Batcables and check it out.

[Batman] Be careful. There's
no telling what's down there.

Keep searching, Wonder Woman.

We've got to find the
clue to Fearo's plans.

for operating my floating island.

If they decipher them, we're lost.

I'll teleport you an energy creature

who will stop the earthlings.

He can materialize and
dematerialize any way you wish.

After the Super Friends have returned

from their worldwide search

Wonder Woman feeds Fearo's notes

into the Justice League computer.

It's some kind of floating island.

The perfect thing to keep
Fearo's magnetic power source

aligned with the green planet.

[Wonder Woman] That weird magneto
must be the power source

we've been searching for.

These symbols must be
the various locations

of the island at each hour.

Once the computer deciphers them

we can get there and stop the energy.

[male narrator] But little do
the Super Friends suspect

what lurks behind this door
to their computer room.

in the past 2000 years.

Now, it's an inter-galactic
space port with beings

from every end of the galaxy.

Let's check in that cafe.

Someone may have seen
Professor Comstock.

[chattering]

We're looking for an Earth man

who may have come into
town a few hours ago.

His name is Comstock.

Sorry, no one by the name of Comstock

has been through here.

Superman! Look!

I think whoever just ran out
may have some information

he wants to tell us.

[grunts]

Going somewhere, friend?

The desert slavers are holding
Professor Comstock as prisoner.

They're in the Jobo Desert to the North.

[male narrator] With lightning
speed, the Super Friends race

towards the slavers' camp.

There must be dozens of them.

They've got Professor Comstock
in some sort of transport tube.

We've got to get to Comstock
before those slavers do.

I'll blow up a little dust storm

and keep them occupied for a while.

Gotcha! While Hawkgirl and
I rescue the professor.

Sorry to drop in so unexpectedly.

[indistinct chatter]

I'm so grateful to you, Super Friends.

Hurry! We've only five
minutes to get back

to the time machine coordinates.

[slavers clamoring]

Hang on, professor!

[male narrator] The slavers aim their
stun rays at Superman and Friends.

[Hawkman] The time machine
pick up location

is right below us, Superman.

Look out for those stun rays!

We made it, and with a minute to spare.

I think we'd be better off
without that spare minute.

Those slavers don't give up.

Quick, Superman, I've got
a plan to delay them.

Grab an arm full of that moist sand.

We'll hold 'em for a while
with a portable sand trap.

[slavers clamoring]
