Are you in?

It`s Shin Hong,

I`d like to come in if I may.

Are you in? It`s Shin Hong.

Sire,

Follow us in.

-Sire. -Oh, Sir Shin!

-You didn`t answer, so I thought you weren`t here. -I`m sorry.

I must`ve been focused on reading.

What brings you anyway?

-Stay outside. -Yes, sir.

I better go now as well.

Sire,

May we have a word?

What?

Li Kaigu and Shin Hong went to the library where Dae Joyoung is?

Yes, Your Majesty, what do we do?

Palbo, are you outside?

Yes, Your Majesty.

Quietly rally the soldiers.

The soldiers?

If Dae Joyoung gets capture Li Kaigu and Shin Hong must be killed.

-Your Majesty! -I have no choice.

Go on, get the soldiers ready!

Yes, Your Majesty!

What`s this?

Departed Bu Kiwon investigated Dae Joyoung and the Dongmyoungchun League on his own and compiled this findings.

So, what did you find in here?

Did you find something we can use to capture Dae Joyoung?

Dae Joyoung may be the Dongmyoungchun League`s leader, but King Bojan is its backer.

That again?

I thought we were done with that is ther anything more believable?

How about if I said Tsui Sing Lau is their headquarters?

Tsui Sing Lau?

The place that reeks of alcohol and women is the killers den?

It`s nothing to laugh about.

Then you espect me to believe the remblings of a raving lunatic?

Lord Bu was not insane.

What do you mean?

He was pretending to be insane so he could freely investigate Dae Joyoung.

If that`s true,

-are you telling me that he fell into his own trap and died? -He`s not the only one who fell into his own trap.

So did General Li Kaigu and myself.

Then what does he say about me? Does he say that

I am behind the Dongmyoungchun League as well?

It says that we must join hands with you if we are to capture Dae Joyoung.

Oh?

That`s a surprise.

If I should add my thoughts to this report, the true owner of Tsui Sing Lau is King Bojang.

And they`re building a massive anti-Tang force somewhere with the funds gathered from Tsui Sing Lau.

An anti-Tang force?

We can`t locate Dae Joyoung`s father Dae Jungsang. Chances are, Dae Jungsang is building this army.

What do you think? Isn`t this a realistic picture?

But this is all speculation.

If you help us, it`s a matter of time before these spectulations are proven.

I already said I would help.

What`s this?

it`s a letter of recommendation from General Xue turning over full control of Andong Protectorate to you.

General Xue will return to Tang once the Dongmyoungchun League is destroyed.

This personal letter recommending you as his successor is as good as a letter of appointment.

Check for yourself.

You will see the clearly stamped seal of the protectorate-general.

If you could tell us right now where Dae Joyoung is hiding, Andong protectorate could be yours by tomorrow morning.

I heard you, now please leave.

We`ve said all we want to say. If you want to tell us anything,

you`re welcome to come to us anytime.

-Do you think Namseng will come over to our side? -We gave him what he wanted the most.

Satisfying one`s avarice is the best way to win a man`s favor.

They must be quite desperate to put the Andong Protectorate on the table.

This piece of paper means nothing to me. I will destroy it right now.

Don`t.

They will become more suspicious if you don`t have that letter. Keep it.

I must go now.

Don`t forget our agreement.

Li Wen Is here in Goguryeo.

He had planted his spies here long before I arrived. I`m certain he is here by now.

This is a problem.

We must destroy the Congmyoungchun League before Li Wen finds the force behind it.

The pressure is on.

With Li Wen in the picture, we are fighting two enemies at once.

That`s why we rushed here,

Chulin is here as well, so we will have to give everything we`ve got.

This may be our last opportunity to acquire Yingzhou.

I knew Li Wen would get in our way somehow...

You made it. What did you find out?

I found a merchant that deals with the Goguryeoans.

A merchant? Will this merchant help us?

I already made all the arrangements.

We will use this merchant to capture their leaders. Without their leaders they will fall to pieces.

Yes, they will, sir.

Get the soldiers ready. We will attack directly once their leaders are captured.

It`s Jang. We`re here.

-We`re here. -Come on in.

-Who are you? -Don`t move!

Who are you?

Which one of you is Dae Joyoung?

I am Dae Jungsang.

You lie.

You`re not a swordsman.

We will raid their training camo in Goguryeo Village at once. Prepare the soldiers!

Yes, general!

You will soon see.

Your headquarters will soon burn and destroyed, and you will witness the massacre of the callow boys.

you`ve been training to recapture Goguryeo.

-You bastard! You rotten bastard!

Kill us first! Leave the innocent soldiers alone and kill me instead!

What?

Li Wen has destroyed the anti-Tang force that`s behined the Dongmyoungchun League?

Yes, general.

That is the report from Guklae Fort.

Who was the leader of this anti-Tang force?

It`s Dae Joyoung`s father Dae Jungsang as we thought.

-Did they capture Dae Jungsang? -No, he wasn`t there.

I see.

Then he must be right here in Liaodong Fort with his son Dae Joyoung.

What do we do now? Li Wen is a step ahead of us!

Yes, but he can`t win this race unless he captures Dae Joyoung.

That`s right.

We must find and destroy the Dongmyoungchun League first before Li Wen does.

Li Wen pulled off a big one this time....

Tenacious bastard... He`s determined to ruin me.

Impressive... Very impressive....

I will ask you again. Where is Dae Jungsang?

I, Mu Yeom, am the leader of this army.

Bull!

Your leader is Dae Jungsang. Dae Joyoung`s father Dae Jungsang!

I bet he is at the Dongmyoungchun League headquarters.

Talk. Where is he?

You can kill me, but you will never make me talk!

What are you waiting for?

-Beat them until they talk! -Yes, sir!

If you can`t get these bastards to talk.

I`ll have you killed instead!

Congratulations, general.

You wiped out the remnants of Goguryeoan rebels in a single sweep!

I`m far from done.

Once we have their confression, we must go to Andong Protectorate.

And that`s when the real battle will begin.

I couldn`t be more pleased, General Li Wen went to Goguryeo alone with nothing but determination and sent back wonderful news.

-He would make his ancestors proud. -Yes, Your Majesty.

General Li Wen willl soon deliver Dae Joyoung`s head.

Lord Zhao!

We have yet to learn any new information!

-How can you speak with suck bombast? -If it turn out these captured rebels,

are not connected to the Dongmyoungchun League, you would have spoken a lie.

A lie?

Watch your tongue, Lord Wu!

That`s enough! Stop this beckering.

His Majesty is unwell! Your Majesty, I beg you to retire to your bed chambers.

Yes, Your Majesty.

You`ve overexerted yourself today. You must rest now.

Call the physician! Call the physician at once!

No, I`m all right.

Please wait here until the meeting ends.

Don`t worry about us, and tend to your business.

New faces?

-They`re among the new recruits that resently joined us. -It`s nice to make your acquaintance.

Make yourselves at home.

We`ve overcome many pains and obstacles.

We cannot let grief over loss of one village paralyze us when our entire country was taken.

I agree.

This final mission must succeed

if only for those young men that were killed.

Yes.

We can eliminate Xue Rengui and drive Andong Protectorate out of Liaodong on our own.

How many men do we have in all.

We have over one hundred including the new recruits.

One hundred...

That`s not a small number for this mission.

Let us get them into the protectorate compound as planned.

But Li Kaigu and Shin Hong are closely watching the commandery guards that were dispatched into the protectorate.

it may not be possible to swap them out with our agents in small groups during shift change.

Then how about replacing the entire group all at once?

How, Your Majesty?

If we switch the entire soldiery all at once, it will be harder for them to distinguish who has been swapped.

-We finally located the Dongmyoungchun League headquarters! -Yes, it was Tsui Sing Lau!

Let`s hurry. We must quickly contact General Li Wen.

-It may be too late for that -What do you mean?

The Dongmyoungchun League may attack the protectorate any day.

We could lose the protectorate before our report reaches General Li Wen.

Then what? Do we help Xue Rengui?

Let`s give it a little more time.

If only we could figure out who is in that secret meeting...

Fellows,

What are you doing out here?

We came out to streach our legs and couldn`t find our room.

This place is full of Tang officials. I told you not to wonder around!

I`m sorry, would you find our room for us?

-Take them to their room. -Yes,madam. This way.

-I can help but be concerned. Concerned about what?

Assassination of Xue Rengui is our most important mission yet.

And?

Each one of us will do our best but so many things are left to chance.

I know what you mean. But this has to be done before Lo Wen exposes us.

Yes, but we are relying too much on Yeon Namseng

We have no way to get to Xue Rengui and driving out the protectorate without him right now.

Be as causious as you`d like before you get out these doors. But once you start your journey, don`t look back.

Besides, we don`t have the time to look back right now.

Yes, things are rather chaotic at the protectorate right now as well.

If you made up your mind, you should do it.

I intend to.

But there are Goguryeoan young men in the protectorate army that were forcefully recruited.

We can`t kill our own and risk having the public turn against us even if it means warning them in advance.

Yes, I know.

If this mission fails, I will turn to our last resort.

You mean Geumlan?

I beg your pardon? A hunting contest?

I`m told there have been frequent tiger sightings outside the fort lately.

Yes, I know.

A young child was taken by a tiger in the village. Just a few days ago.

You`ve hear about this.

So I proposed the idea of thecommandery holding a hunting contest, and general Namseng eagerly obliged.

Look, King Bojan!

The soldiers will get a good exerciseand the people will be protected from the ravages of tigers, isn`t this a wonderful idea?

You should join us as well.

I`m told tigers bone soup does wonders for stamina.

Like this and this.....

That is a wonderful idea

You should join them, general.

Simmer that tiger bone until the broth is good and milky, and.....

Quiet!

Don`t you realize the Dongmyoungchun League is a greater threat to us than some tiger?

What? Tiger Bones?

Look, King Bojan, the hunt is already on.

It`s us against the Dongmyounchun league, and we can fall prey if we`re not careful.

So please wake up and smell the flowers.

Well if you feel that way, I will just have my commandery guards in the protectorate compound join me.

Oh, boy....

Unbelievable!

What`s the Dongmyoungchun League doing not coming after a man like that?

I know, he is pathetic.

I`m talking about you, fool, you!

You Hongpei!

Yes, my dear Geumlan, you`re all I`ve got...

I want you out!

Tiger hunting?

King Bojang is having a hunting contest?

Yes!

General Xue screamed no, so he`s just taking the commandery guards.

This is out of the blue.

They must be ploting something, but I don`t know what it could be.

If it worries you, we can join the hunting contest and watch them.

No, what if they raid the protectorate?

I guess you`re right.

They could lure us out and attack the compound like they did before.

It`s entirely possible.

We can`t leave the protectorate unguarded.

Of course not.

A hunting contest? Tiger hunting?

If the commandery guard are going, Namseng will oversee the event.

This means he`s working for Dae Joyoung after all.

Your Majesty, it`s Yeon Namseng.

I thought I sent you a message. Why aren`t you prepareing for the hunt?

Your Majesty, I don`t undestand. How can you go on a hunting trip at a time like this?

-Leave us. -Yes, Your Majesty.

This hunting trip will serve a very important purpose.

Yes, I know.

Publicly, you`re protecting the people from the ravages of tigers, and personally, you can`t resist the tiger bones.

If we go on this hunt, we can lure dozens of tigers into the fort.

What do you mean? Lure the tiger into the fort?

Fearless tigers full of grief and vengeance.

Tigers roaring with rage and fervor to get back the country they lost.

Are you talking about the Donmyoungchun League?

That`s right.

They will swallow Andong Protectorate whole and eat Xue Rengui alive.

-Your Majesty! -There is no time.

Prepare for the hunt now.

You must stay here, Your Majesty.

This much too dangerous. Your identity can be exposed,

so let me handle this.

The hunting procession just left the city.

Our men?

-They`re hiding in the hills near the hunting ground. -We will take care of this.

The senior generals should stay here.

Slay them all.

If any of them stay alive we will be wiped out.

I know father.

Now, be on your way.

Attack! Completely wipe them out!

Your Majesty!

-Joyoung is coming back! -What`s the outcome?

-Did he succeed? -Yes, Your Majesty.

Yeon Namseng is with him as well.

This means we are half way there, Your Majesty.

Excellent. Excellent indeed!

Unbelievable.

-They`ve massacred the entire commandery army. -Now they will replace the commandery guards

with the Dongmyoungchun League agents. It`s a matter of time.

before they are in Xue Rengui`s living room.

What do we do?

The protectorate will be in ashes by the time General Lo gets our message!

Let`s alert the protectorate.

We have no other choice.

Darn it...

Who is in that room anyways?

It`s over whelming to finally be included here and have my sincerity recognized.

Forgive me for my past distrust.

I had no choice in order to proctect the secret organization.

Don`t worry about it. Just the thought of bieng able to give my life for Goguryeo fills me with joy.

Being here with all of you like this reminds me of the glorious days.

Supreme Commander Yeon Gaesomun and General Yang Manchun were always with us back then.

In those days, the royal house of Goguryeo was feared not just by Tang but by all.

That`s all in the past. Let us think only of the future.

Lord Yeon Namseng,

Yes, Your Majesty,

The traitors of the country have all been eliminated, and now it`s a fight between the Goguryeoans and the Tang Chinese.

I call upon you to firmly join hands with General Dae Joyoung and lead our final mission to success.

Your Majesty,

I will lay down my life to serve my king!

The commandery guards have been replaced by our agents.

You can go back now and they won`t suspect a thing.

Thank you. Now I can keep my head up when I meet my father again in the next world.

Thank you for giving me another chance.

You and I have walked different path long way around and met again.

I just hope and prey that we never stray apart from this point soward.

I swear by heaven and earth that I will never betray your trust and betray the people again.

Thank you.. Thank you, sire...

-They`re back from the hunting trip? -Yes, general.

-They just entered the protectorate compound. -Did you notice anything out of the ordinary?

Out of the ordinary? No, nothing.

-Did you? -Nothing notable, sir.

We checked to see if Dae Joyoung and his men were among them, but....

King Bojang brought back tiger bones for General Xue. They did go hunting, that`s for sure.

A hunting trip at a time like this... Hunting...

Our men are in position.

My brothers and I will join them a day before we strike.

This is our final mission. Dolbal and I will join you as well.

-You don`t need to put yourself in danger, Father. -No, My warrior`s pride won`t allow me

to be a spectator before the enemy.

But Father,

I`ll stay out of your way.

Just the thought fills my heart.

I will be going out there with my son and finally bring down the villain

of the piece that plundered Goguryeo!

I`m happy to see you that you`re still as strong and solid as ever, father.

Here, let us drink to victory.

Yes, father.

Lord Yeon, what are you doing here?

I was commending the soldiers that captured the tiger. Are you pleased with the tiger bones?

I don`t need things like that for my stamina. I`ve been blessed...

I`m sending it back to King Bojang, so tell him to enjoy it.

Tiger bones...

This is the commandery army`s assembly area. You will not wonder off

or take any individual action without my order.

-Understand? -Yes, sir!

What are you doing here?

-You must be one of the commandery guards. -Your post is in the rear garden. What are you doing snooping around?

I must see Li Kaigu.

What? Li Kaigu?

-Do you think Li Kaigu is your neighbor`s dog? -This punk has a death wish!

We`re running out of time, Now!

This is the man. He insist on seeing you.

You`re a commandery guard. What do you want with me?

Don`t you remember me?

This is Li Wen`s second commander!

What are you doing here?

I`m here as a member of the Dongmyoungchun League.

The Dongmyoungchun League?

Dae Joyoung is preparing to attack the protectorate right now!

What?

You mean all those commandery guards in the rear garden are....!

Dongmyoungchun League agents.

Unbelievable!

They were right under our noses!

What about Dae Joyoung?

Is Dae Joyoung among them?

No, he and his brothers are due to join them the night before they strike.

Of course.

They`re recognizable.

And like the late Bu Kiwon speculated, Tsui Sing Lau is there headquarters.

Its owner Mimosa is also a member of the league.

Then what about Geumlan? Is she one of them?

Mimosa planted her. What more do you need to know?

That can`t be!

You mean I`ve been blind all along?

You`re a lucky man to be alive.

General, what are we waiting for?

We must slaughter the bastards in the rear garden and go to Tsui Sing Lau for Dae Joyoung`s head.

No, we can`t.

Why not?

What more is there to think about when they have been exposed?

We can kill them all, but if Dae Joyoung gets away it`s useless.

Dae Joyoung will slip through our fingers if we`re not careful.

Then what`s your plan?

We will wait untill all of the fish are in the net.

You mean wait until they attack?

-Yes. -That`s absurd.

The assassins are right in General Xue`s backyard. If heaven forbid something should go wrong.....

General Xue doesn`t have to be here.

You want me to hide?

Yes, sir.

Go somewhere safe where they can`t find you.

When are they going to strike?

We don`t know yet, but we are keeping a close eye on Namseng.

We`ll be able to get you to safety on time.

No, general. You`ll be a sitting duck.

I`ll go along with your plan.

General!

We have only one shot to remove them at the root. If Dae Joyoung gets away, the anti-Tang movement will start up somewhere else.

We have to finish them off once and for all!

Did you find out?

Is what you heard really true?

No one`s talking and ther`s nothing more I can find out.

Call Mogae for me. He`ll know what`s going on.

Stay out of this, Chulin.

Is it true that the killers are going to attack?

They`re already here.

How about Dae Joyoung? Is he here too?

No,not yet.

You don`t have to get involved, Chulin.

General, I prepared a place for you to hide for a while.

We should go there now.

The commandery guards are in an inspection so this is the perfect time.

-I will stop by the guest wing on the way. -General, Geumlan is Mimosa`s spy.

Lead on.

What are you doing, my dear?

Wow!

You`re making beatiful art with your delicate hands.

No, no, I can`t stay long.

Geumlan,

I have to catch up on work that`s piling up at my office.

I may not see you for a few days, so please don`t get upset.

Oh, you`re like a little child!

Something is not right. Xue Rengui`s office is empty.

The protectorate army is making unusual moves as well, sir.

Yes, I know.

I think they`re watching us.

-General Dae is due to join us tomorrow, night. -That might be a bad idea.

Better call it off.

What brings you here Lord Yeon?

I came to see General Xue, but he`s not in his office.

Where is he?

I`m sure you know already.

What do you mean? Know what?

Were you rushing off to change the plan?

What did I tell you? Lord Yeon is a quick study.

Then I guess we have no other choice. Guards!

Why don`t we go to a quiet place for a while?

We have a lot to talk about

-Take him. -Yes, sir!

Lord yeon should be on his way with the commandery guards that will replace us.

Let us hurry.

I can`t wait to get my hands on Xue Rengui!

Xue Rengui should be in his office.

-Let us go now. -Yes, Father.

We are going into Andong Protectorate to strike the heart of evil.

We will stop the presecution of our people by killing every last villain that raveged our land.

Every last one of them....
