EPISODE 7

Good morning, Mr. Hua.

Good morning, Master Feng.

Sir, why are you being so polite to me?

Should we address each other differently?

I don't know what you mean.

Ever since my daughter persuaded you to stay,

I could tell

that you are fond of her.

I plan to prepare betrothal gifts as soon as possible.

I need to pay a visit to Yihua Palace in Xiuyu Valley

to propose a marriage to the masters of Yihua Palace.

Marriage?

Master Feng, you must have misunderstood.

Misunderstood?

It can't be.

Yihua Palace is the best in the martial arts world.

In fact, Tianhong Clan is out of your league.

Yesterday, I saw with my own eyes that my daughter...

It's a blessing for both my daughter and Tianhong Clan.

You thought that Ms. Feng slept in my room last night?

Both of you are no longer young.

It's normal to have affection between men and women.

I can totally understand it.

If that's the case,

please follow me inside.

Sir.

Where is Baiyu?

-She's gone. -Gone?

She...

When did she leave?

She left a letter for you.

Please read it carefully.

TO MY DEAR FATHER

I promised to stay for another three days,

so that I could help you and Qin Ziling leave safely.

I didn't wish to bring you trouble.

No, it's all my father's fault.

He has gone too far just because of Yihua Palace's reputation.

We shall discuss that later.

What is your plan?

I have bid goodbye to my mother.

Now,

I can only escape through the window in your room.

Aren't you both leaving in three days?

The plan has changed.

I can only meet him at Quanshan Clan

-and run away with him. -All right.

You better make a move now.

Thank you, Mr. Hua.

Ziling and I will never forget your kindness.

See you.

What's wrong?

You are worried about your father.

Yes.

Master Feng really loves you.

If you leave without saying goodbye,

you will hurt his feelings.

Why don't you write him a letter

to tell him the whole story?

I have the same thought.

Thank you, Mr. Hua.

Qin Ziling?

That bastard!

When did he start enticing my daughter?

How dare he run away with my only daughter?

My precious daughter has eloped!

I'm going to Quanshan Clan

to see Qin Tianhai and bring my daughter back.

They call themselves a righteous clan,

but they dared to abduct my daughter.

I'm going to fight him!

-I'll fight him! -Master Feng.

Come!

-Master! -Master!

Gather everyone.

Get all of them.

We'll wipe out Quanshan Clan!

-Yes! -Hold it.

Please calm down, Master Feng.

I have something to say.

You can make the decision after you have listened to me.

Mr. Hua.

Everyone,

I need to talk to Master Feng privately.

Please leave now.

Master Feng.

It's clearly stated in the letter

that they love each other.

Love each other?

Tianhong Clan and Quanshan Clan hate each other.

There's no way they can love each other!

They can't wipe away the hatred between the two clans.

That's why they ran away.

Master Feng, shouldn't you think about it?

To be honest,

last night...

Sir, I found out that Tianhong Clan...

Besides He Lu and He Shuang,

-I have four other disciples with me. -Sir, I also found out that...

After we found out about the feud between the clans,

I sent them to find out the truth.

Those in the martial arts world know about the feud between the two clans.

However, I also found out

that Quanshan Clan is indeed a righteous clan.

They fight the bad guys and protect the weak.

Tianhong Clan, on the other hand,

is not as good.

Well...

That's impossible.

You've been using Yihua Palace's name to bully people.

Is that true?

I have always admired Yihua Palace.

I want to serve Yihua Palace.

Thank you for admiring Yihua Palace.

Based on my understanding of my aunts,

they have no interest in having other clans under their command.

In short,

Quanshan Clan isn't the one to blame

for this feud between the two clans.

You have no objections to what I've just said, right?

Of course.

Of course.

Tianhong Clan might make mistakes at times.

Ms. Feng and Qin Ziling are suffering

because of the feud of the older generations.

I'm just a witness by accident.

To be honest,

Qin Ziling and I

have long loved each other.

I gave him the Duyou Sword as a love token.

I tried to stop them.

But after thinking about it, I realized that they had no choice.

When I told you that I would stay for another three days,

I just wanted to let them escape safely.

Meanwhile, I would try to talk you out

from fighting against Quanshan Clan.

Mr. Hua.

You are from Yihua Palace.

I should respect you,

but not Qian Tianhai.

His son abducted my only daughter.

I can't let that go.

Please excuse me.

We will have a drink after I wipe out Quanshan Clan.

Stop right there.

Master Feng.

If you refuse to listen to my advice,

from now on, Tianhong Clan is prohibited

from using the name of Yihua Palace.

Mr. Hua!

To be honest,

last night,

I instructed He Lu to follow Ms. Feng secretly.

I was informed of her whereabouts.

As for Quanshan Clan,

since you have killed six of their disciples,

I don't think they will let you get away with it easily.

I'll try to persuade Master Qin

to wipe away the feud between the two clans.

If the marriage between Mr. Qin and Ms. Feng is successful,

it can be a good deed that I've done after leaving the valley.

I believe that Master Qin and you understand

that if both clans refuse to put down the grudge

and keep fighting with each other,

Mr. Qin and Ms. Feng will leave Guanzhong

and never return.

Sir.

Master Feng.

Report!

Master, there is a letter from Quanshan Clan. It says...

-What does it say? -It says that Ms. Feng is in their hands.

They want your head in exchange for her life.

What?

Sir, did you hear that?

Please calm down, Master Feng.

He Lu, tell him.

As per Mr. Hua's order, I followed Ms. Feng secretly last night.

She went to Quanshan Clan at dawn.

But...

Who are you? Why did you come to Quanshan Clan?

I'm looking for Qin Ziling. Please inform him.

Who is looking for Qin Ziling?

-Master. -Master.

If I'm not mistaken,

you are Feng Baiyu, the daughter of Feng Qianli, right?

Greetings, Master Qin.

Lift your head up.

I knew it.

Ziling wouldn't have gotten Duyou Sword

from Tianhong Clan just like that.

He refused to admit anything.

I interrogated him the whole night.

He finally admitted to the relationship between the both of you.

You evil woman!

How dare you entice a disciple of a righteous clan! Everyone!

-Here! -Here!

Capture her!

How dare you, Qin Tianhai!

Your son abducted my daughter,

but you called my daughter an evil woman!

I'm going to kill him and save my daughter!

Master Feng.

Leave the mission to save Ms. Feng to me.

Don't worry.

I can't do that.

You are our honored guest of Tianhong Clan.

Since my daughter has fallen into Qin Tianhai's hand,

she must be in danger.

Master Feng, do you think that I can't save your daughter

because I'm inexperienced?

Well...

I'm not doubting you.

If that's the case, please be patient.

I'll be back soon.

Move!

-Baiyu. -Qin Ziling!

What are you doing?

Father.

It's all my fault.

Please let her go.

-You dare beg for the evil woman? -She is not evil.

How is she not evil?

Ten days ago,

she gave you Duyou Sword.

Ten days later, she ruined Qingyuan Hall.

To you, that sword is a token of love.

However, to Tianhong Clan,

that's an excuse to find fault.

Qin Ziling, wake up!

Father, that's just a misunderstanding.

Baiyu didn't give me the sword.

I borrowed the sword from her.

When I was at Liuye County,

I found out that Hua Wuque killed innocent people.

I was worried that I couldn't defeat him,

so I borrowed the sword from Baiyu.

My goodness, Qin Ziling.

Until now,

you still have not learned your lesson.

You are still begging for this evil woman.

You are no longer my son.

Father.

-What did you say? -What did I say?

Are you deaf?

Unless...

Unless...

You kill this evil woman yourself.

Father!

You're not going to do it?

Fine.

-Everyone! -Here!

Today, I, Qin Tianhai,

will kick Qin Ziling out of Quanshan Clan.

He no longer belongs to Quanshan Clan.

He is no longer your senior.

Now,

kill both of them!

Do it!

-Master, please forgive him. -Master, please forgive him.

What's the matter?

So you refuse to listen to my order?

Fine.

I'll do it myself.

-Master! -Master!

Ziling.

Promise me that you will live well.

I have betrayed Tianhong Clan.

I don't want to drag you down with me.

Please do me a favor.

Let's meet again in the next life.

What an unfilial son!

What are you doing?

Father, don't push me

-or I'll commit suicide right now. -You!

-Ziling! -Ziling!

-Ziling! -Ziling!

QUANSHAN CLAN

Qin Ziling!

Are you betraying your clan for this woman?

Father.

I belong to Quanshan Clan even if I'm dead.

But I won't stand aside and let you kill Baiyu.

After sending her off, I'll come back and beg for your forgiveness.

Dream on.

Disciples of Quanshan Clan, listen!

-Yes! -Yes!

Qin ZIling is kicked out of the clan.

Kill him!

What an unfilial son!

I'm Hua Wuque from Yihua Palace.

Yihua Palace?

Qin Ziling.

You should realize your mistake by now.

The evil man from Yihua Palace

wants to give Quanshan Clan trouble.

-Can't you see it? -Father, don't misunderstand.

Hua Wuque

is my friend.

Nonsense!

Quanshan Clan is a righteous clan.

We don't have a friend like him.

Everyone!

-Yes! -Yes!

-Kill the evil man! -Yes!

Father!

Father!

Are you okay?

You unfilial son!

My life or death is none of your business.

Qin Ziling.

Take Ms. Feng away from here.

Let me talk to Master Qin.

Thank you, Mr. Hua.

Father, sorry for being unfilial.

I must go.

Stop right there!

You should leave now.

-Leave it to me. -Mr. Hua.

Are you going to interfere with Quanshan Clan's affair?

I'm sorry.

I must interfere.

I've long heard

that people from Yihua Palace are tyrants in the martial arts world.

If anyone ever opposes them, they will die horribly.

Everyone may be afraid of you, but I'm not.

I would rather be crushed into pieces

than to allow my son to elope with this evil woman.

All right.

If you don't want them to elope,

why don't you let them marry each other?

Mr. Hua.

Are you out of your mind?

Quanshan Clan is a righteous clan.

How can let my son marry this evil woman?

Master Qin.

You're an elder.

You called her an evil lady and scolded your son for no reason.

I don't think it's appropriate.

Tianhong Clan has been creating troubles in the martial arts world

using the name of Yihua Palace.

It's an evil clan.

Feng Qianli's daughter

is definitely an evil woman.

Are you saying

that Yihua Palace has put Tianhong Clan in trouble?

You were the one who said that.

I didn't say anything.

And how is Quanshan Clan a righteous clan?

Are you blind?

Look at the plaque behind me.

QUANSHAN CLAN

It has been there for centuries.

How are we not a righteous clan?

Qin Ziling.

Don't think that Hua Wuque is here

to help you two escape.

Today,

if I don't kill both of you,

the plaque left by our ancestors will be put to shame.

-This... -This...

Mr. Hua, what are you doing?

I think you are right.

Now that the plaque is no longer there,

you don't have to feel sorry to your ancestors.

You...

How dare you take down the plaque as you like?

I'll fight you to death!

-Master! -Master!

Qin Tianhai, listen.

Yihua Palace that you claim to be evil

is going to do a good deed.

They love each other and are meant to be together.

I intend to be the matchmaker.

I will have Master Feng of Tianhong Clan to propose marriage within three days.

Let Ziling marry Ms. Feng legally.

Then, both clans will wipe away their feud.

They will live in peace and discuss the matters in the martial arts world.

I will attend the wedding

and return the plaque to you then.

Otherwise,

I will destroy the plaque.

Quanshan Clan will cease to exist in the martial arts world.

Master Qin.

Do you get me?

You...

Since you said that the people of Yihua Palace are tyrants,

then so be it.

Either die with your clan

or make peace with Tianhong Clan

and let them be together.

It's up to you.

Fine.

Forget it.

Does that mean you agree to it?

For the sake of our clan,

I will bring Ziling to Tianhong Clan to propose marriage in three days.

Father, thank you for your blessing.

You are a good-for-nothing.

Stay home and recuperate for the next three days.

Your mother will arrange the wedding.

After three days,

I'll escort you to her house to marry her.

Thank you, Father.

Thank you, Mr. Hua.

I will be waiting for you at Tianhong Clan in three days.

Sorry to trouble you.

TIANHONG CLAN

On behalf of Tianhong Clan and Quanshan Clan,

I thank you.

You're welcome.

-Congratulations! -Congratulations!

-Congratulations! -Congratulations!

Father, Mr. Hua.

Mr. Hua, look.

Ms. Feng is so beautiful today.

Congratulations, Ms. Feng.

Baiyu, bow to Mr. Hua.

Ms. Feng.

We are of the same age.

There's no way I can accept your bow.

Sir.

Not only have you saved her, but also her marriage.

You fully deserve to receive the bow.

If it weren't for your help,

both clans would have suffered casualties.

Let Baiyu bow to you.

Take it as a token of appreciation from Tianhong Clan.

That's right, sir.

Report!

Reporting to Master.

Quanshan Clan's Qin Ziling, your son-in-law, is here to meet you.

So Quanshan Clan has arrived.

They are not here yet. Qin Ziling came alone.

What?

What's with Quanshan Clan?

Qin Ziling has the Duyou Sword.

He said his father instructed him

to return us the treasure of our clan.

The bridesmen will be here soon.

Master Qin is so thoughtful.

He is returning the sword first to show his sincerity.

You are right.

-Let him in. -Yes.

TIANHONG CLAN

I'm here to pay my respects.

My father told me to return the treasure of Tianhong Clan, the Duyou Sword.

The bridesmen will be here soon.

Great. Get up.

Thank you, Father-in-law.

Mr. Hua.

Four days ago, I promised

to give you the sword as a present.

You may examine the sword today.

I shall not take it.

Master Feng, please don't do this.

Sir, previously,

you said you shouldn't be rewarded for no reason.

Today, you have resolved the feud between both clans

that had been going on for generations.

I have gained a good son-in-law

and you have fulfilled my daughter's wish

of marrying her dream man.

You have done us a big favor.

Sir,

you have to accept the Duyou Sword no matter what.

That's right, sir.

All right.

Since you insist on giving it to me,

I shall gladly accept it.

Great.

Please examine the sword.

DUYOU

It's indeed a great sword.

Watch out, it's poison!

You evildoer! How dare you try to poison us!

I'll kill you!

Father!

Stay still, everyone.

It's a strange poison.

The more you move, the more poison you absorb.

Adjust your inner force to withstand the poison.

Father.

Qin Ziling.

Mr. Hua.

-I... -Ziling.

What are you doing?

Baiyu.

My father just sent me to return the sword.

I know nothing about the poison.

TIANHONG CLAN

-You guys... -What are you doing?

Father...

What are you doing?

What am I doing?

Didn't you send the sword here?

You still don't know my intention?

You asked me to return the sword to poison them?

So what?

Haven't you noticed that you are not poisoned?

It's because of the soup I gave you this morning.

-That's the antidote. -Father!

If you still behave like an idiot,

I'll put you down

-after wiping out Tianhong Clan. -Father, no!

Father!

Father!

Ziling.

All of us have taken the antidote.

The poison won't harm us.

As for them,

they are all getting weak.

They are just waiting for us to chop their heads off.

Ziling.

You will make the first move.

You must kill this old man, Feng Qianli

and this evil woman in front of all of us.

-No! -Only by doing so

can you make up for your mistake.

Father.

Please give them the antidote.

Look, Master Feng sincerely wants to make peace with us.

You unfilial son!

Why do I have such a useless son like you?

You have been bewitched by the evil woman.

You are hopeless.

-People! -Here!

-Tie him up. -Yes.

Father.

-Let's go. -Ziling.

Father!

-Let's go. -Father!

-Kneel! -Let's go, Ziling.

Qin Ziling!

I'll make sure you witness how I kill this evil woman,

-so that you'll regain your sanity. -Don't do that, Father!

Father, no!

Father!

Father, no!

Father! Baiyu!

-Father! -Qin Tianhai.

Have you forgotten

who took down the plaque of Quanshan Clan?

You say that your clan is righteous,

but you're doing such a despicable thing.

You're even attempting to kill a lady.

How despicable.

If righteous clans want to wipe out evil clans like you,

then we must be merciless.

I must kill this evil woman,

so that my son can regain his sanity.

What is my fault?

All right.

Come at me if you can.

Sure.

Young master of Yihua Palace.

After killing you,

I'll gain fame in the martial arts world.

Father!

Father!

Yihua Jade Swapping Palm?

You...

How can you move?

You talked too much and gave me enough time

to get rid of the toxic from my body.

That's impossible.

It's the most lethal poison available in Guanzhong.

It's impossible for you to remove the poison so quickly.

Disciples of Quanshan Clan, don't listen to him.

Attack!

Thank you for giving me a chance to flex my muscles.

I have gotten rid of all the poison from my body.

But I still hope that you will give the antidote to everyone.

You want the antidote?

No way!

-Master! -Master!

Search his body.

Sir.

Confirm with Qin Ziling.

If it's the antidote, give it to everyone immediately.

Yes.

Qin Ziling, is this the antidote?

I think so.

Father.

Qin Tianhai.

-Father! -Father!

Give me your life!

Master Feng, please calm down.

Sir, he has killed so many of my disciples.

If I don't avenge them,

I'm not qualified to be the master of my clan.

Master Feng.

If this feud continues,

many people will die because of this.

If you trust me,

please let me handle this.

I will do you justice.

Father.

Forget it.

Qin Tianhai.

As the master of Quanshan Clan,

not only did you attempt to poison us,

you also tried to kill us.

I really want to destroy the plaque into pieces.

However, I was told

that Quanshan Clan has a centuries-long history.

The previous masters were all righteous.

If I destroy the plaque

just because of your mistake,

it will be very unfair to them.

But you are the one behind the commotion today.

I can't spare your life.

Father, it's indeed your fault.

Just admit your mistake.

If that's the case...

Wait, Mr. Hua.

Mr. Hua.

Please forgive Master Qin.

If you kill him,

I will never be able to marry Ziling.

Qin Tianhai.

The person you wanted to kill

is begging for your life.

Master Qin, just admit your mistake.

Mr. Hua is a kind person.

If you agree to make peace with our clan

and let us both marry each other,

he will not give you or Quanshan Clan a hard time.

What if I don't agree?

Are you not going to change your mind

to protect the lives of your disciples?

Father, she is right.

Just apologize to Master Feng

and give us your blessing.

Hua Wuque.

Are you forcing me to accept this marriage?

Master Feng.

If Master Qin agrees to their marriage,

will you forgive him?

Since the situation is already like this,

I have no objections.

Master Qin.

I'm still inexperienced.

I shouldn't interfere with the affair between the two clans.

But Mr. Qin and I are friends.

I admire his skills and character.

I only got to know of their love story later on.

Hence, I got involved in this.

Today,

if I get to witness their wedding

and both of the clans making peace,

I will be really happy.

Master Qin.

You say that I am forcing you.

But for the marriage to happen,

that's all I can do.

Fine.

If you really want me to accept their marriage,

Mr. Hua,

don't you think you need to free me first?

Father, does that mean you're agreeing to it?

Father.

Father, are you all right?

If that's the case,

Master Qin and Master Feng,

please take a seat inside.

Father.

This way.

This way.

QUANSHAN CLAN

-Master. -Father.

Hua Wuque.

You threatened to crush the plaque,

but you couldn't do it.

I'll do it myself then.

Even though I'm not as strong as you,

I won't yield to an evil clan like Yihua Palace.

Qin Ziling.

I have been a righteous person throughout my life.

The only mistake I've made

is to have an unfilial son like you!

Don't ever dream of

getting married to this evil woman.

You won't stand a chance!

Let me tell you.

Without the blessing of your parents,

even if you manage to get Jade Emperor here,

I'd still forbid this marriage.

-Master! -Father!

-Master! -Master!

Father!

Father!

It's my fault.

I'm an unfilial son.

Baiyu.

We'll meet again in the next life.

Ziling, no!

Baiyu.

Ziling.

If you didn't save me from the cliff,

I would have died back then.

So many people died because of me.

Perhaps I really am an evil woman.

People should stop dying because of me.

-Baiyu! -Ms. Feng!

-Baiyu! -Baiyu!

THE GRAVE OF QIN ZILING AND FENG BAIYU

No matter how skilled I am,

I still can't solve every problem.

Sir, it's time to go.

Humans are unpredictable and love makes people do crazy things.

I don't understand it at all.

How can I be in the martial arts world?

Sir, you haven't done anything wrong.

Please don't blame yourself.

That's right.

You were nice to Mr. Qin and Ms. Feng.

Even though they are no longer here,

they must have been grateful for your help.

Ms. Feng.

Mr. Qin.

I hope that in your next life, both of you can live a normal life

and be childhood sweethearts.

Get married to each other

and get blessed with many children.

Live a happy life.

We received some news.

Many people in Guangzhong are heading to Mount Emei.

Seems like something huge is going to happen there.

I think Jiang Xiaoyu will be there too.

All right.

We will travel day and night.

Let's get going and mind our own business.

-Yes. -Yes.
