You haven't changed after everything that's happened

You're still the same Duke Fleed that I loved

I will take care of everything

and we will meet again to live the rest of our lives together

Come on, sister, let's leave

Rubina

"Episode 11: Tirona"

Duke

Sister Rubina, you shouldn't have come to Earth alone

It is not fit for the princess of Vega

I worried so much about you both

You could have checked on us in another way

Listen, sister, Duke has nothing to do with what happened

He didn't kill the king and queen of Planet Fleed

And he wasn't responsible for Grendizer getting out of control

- I know that - What?

I saw Kasado with my own eyes while he was riding Grendizer

the second he got out of control

Kasado couldn't control him easily

Your ex-fiancé is stupid and kind and he hasn't changed at all

He is the same Duke Fleed

I want to help Duke from all my heart but we have no other choice

What's in our best interest is to destroy Duke Fleed

and take Grendizer back again

We are princesses who serve our people's interests

Despite all this, I'd like to go see Duke

No way! You and Duke are kind people you're even too naive

You will be killed if you got together

Answer me truthfully what happened when you met?

What made you change your opinion about him that much?

Don't you notice that whenever we mention Duke, you talk about him too much?

This is unlike you, Tirona

No, you... you're delusional, and you're saying things unfit for planet's princess

Have you lost your mind?

Listen to me very well, Tirona

I will help Duke to prove his innocence

You don't understand

If you do that, they'll think you're his accomplice

I will stay with him and let them think what they want

I'm sorry

Anyway, I will face Duke Fleed on my own

Don't disobey the supreme orders whatever happens

- Did you summon me, Princess? - Yes

- I'm at your service - I have an important question for you

Look at me and answer me truthfully How do I look?

What?

I mean, do you think I'm selfish and stubborn?

Not at all!

You're very kind, fair, and generous

and you always care about citizens of the same status of mine on Planet Fleed

You're really a princess, in word and deed, Ma'am

That's very nice of you

But I'm just Rubina, and nothing else

I'm really sorry, if I stayed by his side...

Don't blame yourself, Koji

It's all Vega Forces' fault

Father, I will never forgive them for everything they've done

- Father, are you okay? - Yes, I'm feeling my best

But I have lost many of my friends

You rushed to save me, Dad but I couldn't save them

What are you saying?

You saved our planet by using Grendizer many times, did you forget?

You've always put yourself on the line for us

Dr. Umon

Can we have some of your time?

Of course

Because of Dr. Yumi's injury we'll put the Japanese government in charge

We were wrong handing over our fate to amateurs

We'll get things back on the right track

- I object - What did you say?

Aren't you ashamed of yourselves?

We stood in front of the cannon against the enemies for you

and now you want to dispense of Mazinger X's services that simply

Please, give this to Duke Fleed

But Duke... Ma'am

It's important, so that no more blood would be spilled

Do what I asked

Where are you going?

- What's in your hand? - What? Nothing

A letter from Rubina?

Give it to me, you're Rubina's maid so I don't want to use force with you

Duke Fleed, you're still the one I can depend on

This is why I'll ask you to reunite both ruling families

Vega and Fleed

This is the right time

It's time to end these battles our way and organize the royal wedding

Duke Fleed's wedding with Rubina Perel Vega

the daughter of Vega's king

I am completely ready to give you my life

And I know you'll give me your life as well

and you will respond to the beckoning of love and hope

Rubina, you've always been nice like a rose

For you, I've become a sword drawn for your protection

You're like a gentle breeze

No wonder if he favors you over me and chose you at the end

But my heart is broken

- Do as I said - You will allow me?

As a Starker knight, I shouldn't give you permission

That's why you need to keep this a secret...

even from Rubina

Rubina is my dear sister and I wish to see her happy

As you wish

The people of Earth have succeeded in inventing a machine like this one

whereas you, Blaki, came back empty-handed

We successfully destroyed the enemy's base

and Vega's super cannon is still in top shape

The cannon is effective, but if it doesn't hit its targets

it won't be able to vanquish Grendizer

We don't need a direct hit to Grendizer

What?

Do you know who is able to vanquish Grendizer?

There's a clear answer to this question

Who can vanquish Grendizer other than our leader?

No one can vanquish him except the leader Gandal

This is not true

What did you say?

The people of Earth are the ones who'll help us vanquish him

It's impossible to rebuild the center

We can ask the Japanese government for that

Never

I think it's farfetched

although we're all citizens of Earth but I don't trust them anymore

This is the Fleed ruling family's greeting

Don't worry, I'm here by myself

- Are you from Planet Fleed? - Yes

It's a letter from Princess Rubina

Rubina?

This handwriting is hers indeed

I will wait for you tomorrow evening on the hill where we met the last time

so we can have our wedding ceremony

That hill

Okay, Rubina

- And you, what's your name? - Ainsu

Thank you for delivering the letter, Ainsu

Go and tell Rubina that I got the letter

Okay

But...

Nothing, I will surely tell her

Then that was His Excellence Duke

He doesn't look like a criminal at all

Koji

What is it, Daisuke?

Can we talk a little?

Of course

Let's go for a ride

What's the matter, Daisuke? Why are you silent?

What the Vega forces did to Earth is surely unforgivable

Yes, I will never forgive them

And from now on, you will not fight them on your own

But this isn't the solution

This way, blood will keep spilling

- What I wanted to say... - Give me a second

Dr. Umon, what's going on?

What did you say? Okay

Yes, we'll go back immediately

What's the matter?

Forgive me, Daisuke, we have to go back to the research center

Berlin has been wiped out

"Berlin- Germany"

Vega's long range missile has hit its target

and the targeted city has been wiped out

This is wonderful

Commander Zuril, are you sure that Grendizer will be vanquish

by using this method of yours?

I notified the American government that we will destroy Washington in 24 hours

and if they don't want this to happen they have to give us Grendizer

- This is the plan, sir - I got it

This way, the Earthlings will turn against Duke Fleed

That's right, and we will destroy a great capital every 24 hours

And these savages will attack Grendizer in three days at the latest

That's a genius plan! Duke Fleed can never hurt Earthlings

You are such a genius, Commander Zuril

If they execute this plan they will take over Grendizer

It seems I have to hurry and get it over with

Planet Vega's forces announced their intention to target Washington in 24 hours

And the countries have expressed their worry

and the necessity of surrendering the alien called Duke Fleed

Also...

That's because they can't beat him

The cowards!

Do they think we'll be fooled by this?

I'm sick and tired of them taking us for fools

Friends I...

Don't tell me you're giving up, Mr. Daisuke

If you run away, you'll be insulting our friendship and loyalty to you

- Koji - Thank you

Daisuke, trust us we're all with you

Aren't we all one family?

Take it easy then you're worrying too much

Thank you, my friends

But what now? If we stay like that we'll be in danger

Vega's cannon is on the far side of the moon

so we won't be able to hit it

Damn it! We have to do something

We can hit Planet Vega from the far side of the moon

That's a great idea, Maria! I will wipe them out with Mazinger X

Calm down, Koji

Mazinger X can't penetrate Earth's atmosphere

It's also risky to go there while we still don't know how powerful our enemy is

What do you suggest we do?

We won't let them annihilate Earth one city at a time with their cannon

- The main problem... - Hikaru?

What is the problem?

It's that it's bad to destroy this planet

That's why I decided to take you all with me to space

What are you talking about?

Come to the Wolves Island

This is indeed a space observatory

That's amazing!

I never imagined there would be such a facility under the island

It seems it was used a long time ago

This is the right place for us to work

Look here

If the three Spizer spaceships fuse together we will be able to penetrate the atmosphere

Mazinger can even reach space

Are you serious?

Why didn't you tell us these secrets before?

Because we are completely forbidden to support one of the nominees

But if Earth is destroyed, I will not succeed in my mission

I'm proud of you, Hikaru

I'm coming to get you, you jerks! I will destroy you all with Mazinger X!

Yes, and we will respond more violently!

Daisuke, look at that

We will be able to vanquish Vega's allied forces

Yes

By the way, Daisuke what did you want to say?

No... nothing

We'll postpone that till after we execute the mission

Okay, we have to get ready for this battle

We won't allow any more victims

We will fight together, Sayaka

Where are you going, Rubina?

I knew that you read the letter that Ainsu had

That's why I'll tell you that I'm going to meet Duke

I already told you

that meeting him is a declaration of hostility against Vega's allied forces

Do you want me to throw my beloved sister in the abyss?

I won't let you meet him at all

Are you really forbidding me to go just because you fear for me?

Of course! Do you think I'm worried about our reputation or the army's interest?

I know that, and I understand your position perfectly

But...

I won't be throwing myself in the abyss but will live a happy life with Duke

I will ask you one last time

Do you prefer to stay with Duke or me?

Would you forsake your sister with whom you've lived all your life

to stay with Duke Fleed?

Yes, the same way my dear sister forsook me before

Do you think I don't know what happened at the time?

I still remember

Koji, forgive me

Maria?

Yes, brother

Can't you sleep?

I'm trying to look into the future but the only thing I see is fog and darkness

Rest assured, Maria

Rubina and I will work on changing Fleed and Vega

With our love and strength we will be able to change the world

We will change it to the better

Do you think you can change the world?

- Wait and see - You didn't change, brother

But if you succeed, we can do without the weapons and Grendizer

Did you see that happening in the future?

Yes, what do you think?

Let's go to sleep We'll go to space tomorrow

Okay, let's go

Rubina

Duke Fleed, would you marry me and promise to protect me

and stay with me forever?

I promise you

And you, do promise to put your trust in me

and stay with me for better and for worse and remain faithful to me?

I promise

I... love you

Promise not to leave me

I promise

Rubina

Now you are my wife forever

I'm so happy, Rubina!

- Rubina? - You're still calling me Rubina?

You idiot, haven't you noticed yet?

Tirona?

Yes, Duke Fleed, I'm the one you married a while ago and not my sister

It's over now!

- Why? - To protect Rubina

You've always bragged about your love and faithfulness to my sister Rubina

and here you are marrying her sister

A cheating man like you doesn't deserve to marry my sister at all

Don't ever come near her after this instance, you cheater!

- "Episode 12: Rubina" - On the next episode, Rubina
