to remember the sacrifices made by the soldiers

who have fought for the freedoms that we all love and enjoy.

Because you do not know when those times might be ripped away from you.

In America, we honor the family unit, and we celebrate it.

Without the family unit and freedom, there

is no point for those soldiers having given

their lives.

Some people might say that America has become an empire.

But if we are, we are the best empire that ever was.

We are a republic which has fought around the world to stop atrocities and horrific

things like the Holocaust.

As a veteran who has spent a fair share of

time overseas, I have seen things that I hope

none of you all ever have to.

I have lost friends who were far better men than me.

It's important for each of us to honor this day and honor them.

And the way that we do that is we celebrate their lives.

Though this is a day for mourning and remembrance,

it is also a day to get together and enjoy

your family times.

Because you do not know when those times might be ripped away from you.

The flag is something that we must all cherish and protect.

It represents so much to each and every American.

America has done great things and it has done terrible things.

But it is important that we celebrate the great things that we have done as a nation.

We stopped the spread of fascism.

We beat communism.

Except for in the goddamn universities now.

We must stand together as a united people.

Though we all have our disagreements and we

might have things that we don't see eye to

eye on or things along those natures, it is important to remember that each and every

one of us is American.

And the American people will always be strong as long as we stand together.

And like a family, we will disagree and have

fights and argue and bicker about the right

ways to do things.

But I don't know about any of y'all, but if

anybody fucks with my family, they're going

to get a boot to the head.

And that is what our soldiers have given to

the people that have tried to stand in the

American path forward as we have spread democracy around the world.

Thank God, all of the oil that we wanted.

Each and every one of us must be willing to

sacrifice like the soldiers we remember today.

Because if we do not, we will fall.

And nobody wants America to fall more than our enemies.

The enemies of America seek to undermine our way of life.

They do this through social media and other crazy apps that I'm sure you're all on.

But it is important to remember that you are

Americans and honor each other's differences.

Most Americans have come here because they wanted a better life for their families.

And the only way that they can get a better

life is if we all continue to believe in the

American traditions.

Memorial Day is a very important American tradition.

As we honor those that have fallen and given

everything for us to live today in freedom.

We celebrate them by bringing families together,

having a good old-fashioned barbecue, and

celebrating the start of summer.

The American people are strong, though we might seem to be at each other's throats.

It is important to remember that we are all Americans.

We must respect each other, honor each other, and treat everybody with dignity.

Memorial Day is a time to remember those

that have given everything for this country.

And it is not just a thing that is given by the soldiers.

It's also given by the family members, the

mothers, the husbands, the brothers, the sisters,

and the children of these fallen vets.
