Who the hell are they?

Guys!

I'm the only one that can deal with the newbie.

- Get them! - Yes, boss.

We're trapped at the Moa Nursing Facility parking lot.

Come as fast as you can! Please!

Do Yoon said he left it in here.

Lock the door as soon as I'm out, okay?

It's about time you showed up.

I came just in time.

Hello, everyone.

How can I help you?

Mr. Choi...

You and I aren't done.

What?

It still hurts where you hit me.

I even have the doctor's report.

Naughty boy.

Here I am trying to help you.

If you mean it, do what you're good at.

What I'm good at?

We're gonna go get Hera's son out of the nursing facility.

You can help us.

We could get into a fight with the guards.

I don't want to get my ass kicked in front of a girl.

I'll see what's going on. Stay inside.

Come here!

- I told you to stay inside. - It's scarier inside!

I totally agree.

No one gets inside unless I'm dead.

Get out!

Shit! Whatever!

You bastards!

You two! Back off!

I warned you. Back off!

You bastards!

They are here!

You guys are dead!

Are you hurt?

Are you okay?

Arrest them.

What?

Arrest them, not us.

We're not the bad guys.

Arrest those guys in suits.

You guys are caught red-handed for kidnapping Kim Sang Gu.

What? We're rescuing them.

Those guys and Kim Tae On locked them inside

and said she'd set this place on fire!

Why are you arresting us?

Hey!

You said we could get Kim Tae On.

Crap.

Take them to the van.

- Wait a minute. - Let us go.

Please, let us go.

Kim Tae On?

How come you're here?

You thought I'd be getting ready for the show but here I am.

A reporter working for Director Jeong has been looking into

FB Life Insurance right of indemnity and the warehouse fire case.

This is why being so smart isn't a good thing.

You trust yourself too much thinking you can outsmart the others.

How's the nursing facility?

I checked with the employee that let Ms. Gu in.

They plan to get the kid out while you're getting ready for the show.

Call the FBC programming team

and schedule my show right after Director Jeong's show.

That's all I wanted from reporter Jeong anyway.

Getting rid of you all at once seems like a good idea.

Get rid of all three right now while I'm here.

If I were you, I wouldn't move a muscle.

Get it done!

Arrest them.

Kim Tae On, you should also come with us.

Me? What are you charging me with?

Do you have a warrant?

The suspect can be arrested without a warrant when he or she commits a crime

facing 3 years prison time or bribery charges.

Your instigation to murder falls under the category.

She was planning to kidnap my father, so I was merely protecting him.

You were trying to protect your father?

You locked him in a hospital and tried to end his life.

That's just nonsense.

Do you have proof of that?

If you're so worried about him...

I'll make sure he goes with you.

It's winter time,

so fire due to electrical problems would sound good.

Can you prove that's my voice?

Kidnapping my father and fabricating my voice now?

- Yeon, call my lawyer right away. - Okay.

She locked up her own father and her half-brother in the hospital.

Then she commits a sin by attempting to kill them in a fire.

We found out the truth and tried to get them both out.

You are watching how she gets her bodyguards to stop us.

Kang Hera's Revenge Show's episode is about

a daughter who betrayed her own father to take his place as CEO.

This is the true face of Managing Director Kim Tae On of FB Life Insurance.

You asked how I was gonna prove it all?

The moment I got in this ambulance,

it's been streaming live.

Deputy Prosecutor General Ahn won't be able to help you, either.

This came directly from the Prosecutor General.

Don't try to get out of this mess. You're not smart enough.

Prosecutor Jang Seon Ho.

You are under arrest for taking bribery and fabricating testimony.

- Take him away, quietly. - Yes, sir.

What's going on?

Reporter Jeong Joo Yeong got released, too.

We should get to the nursing facility.

You're arresting me under entrapment?

This isn't an entrapment.

You are trapped in a trap by your own.

We knew your plan in advance.

Reporter Jeong, Mr. Choi,

and nursing facility staffs were all in this together.

Do you have anything to blackmail Kim Tae On?

My boss recorded every conversation he had with Kim Tae On on a burn phone.

There's a recording of her

giving orders to hand over right of indemnity files to the credit companies.

What if you hand her the phone with a spyware app on it?

Spyware app?

It'll be like putting a bug on her phone.

Hang a bell around the cat's neck.

Send more guards to the facility that gets the job done.

Okay.

Will you personally take care of Director Jeong?

Send some cops to deal with her.

I'll be at the facility.

I have to see for myself if they are taken care of once and for all.

One more thing.

We were worried if you didn't show up.

But thank you for showing up here.

Get your hands off of me!

This is a parking lot of a certain nursing facility.

There has been a violent attack

between a group that tried to help a CEO who was imprisoned here

and a group led by his daughter to keep him locked up.

S.W.A.T. resolved the situation without any casualties.

The weapons laying on the floor and the damaged ambulance

show how brutal and intense the attack was.

I'll be waiting with tofu when you get out.

Don't bother coming.

We are even now, okay?

Okay.

Is Ga On okay?

Why wouldn't he wake up?

He's probably sedated.

The ambulance will be here soon.

Let's get him checked out thoroughly.

Everybody okay?

Yeah.

All of you did a great job.

Thank you.

Thank you, Min Joon.

We have to expose Kim Tae On's insurance corruptions

and what she'd done to Ee Hyeon.

That's the only way she won't get away with this.

Don't worry.

We'll keep Ga On safe this time.

You should come with us.

We have to get her crimes in order

and turn them over to Prosecutor Jang.

I'll get the car up front.

Look after Ga On for me.

Okay.

Receiving wrongful insurance money.

Extortion involving the right of indemnity.

Overuse of power against insurance planners and wrongful accusations.

These are the corruption charges

committed by a family who has vast knowledge of insurance legislations.

When there were obstacles for her to go up the ladder,

she tried to get rid of her own father and half-brother.

She committed the crimes but demanded that the victims provide evidence.

She thought she could cover up her crimes with power and money.

That person is Managing Director Kim Tae On of FB Insurance.

What could be done to unmask her brutal and shameless actions?

Ga On, are you okay?

Where's mommy?

Are you feeling okay?

Do you feel sick?

I'm okay.

Mommy's out right now, but she'll be here soon.

Yesterday...

my mom came for me, didn't she?

Yes, that's right.

It wasn't a dream.

Hey, Hera uploaded an exposé video of Kim Tae On on her channel.

Both videos are over half a million hits.

When I get back from handing these over to Prosecutor Jang,

we'll be filing an annulment and a refund for Mr. Gu's right of indemnity.

Please get the papers ready and Jeong Woo's case as well.

Okay.

"Prosecutor Jang Seon Ho"

Yes, I'm getting ready to meet you.

What?

Is Ga On awake?

He woke up and then went back to sleep.

He asked for you. When will you be here?

I have to upload a video apologizing that Ee Hyeon's scandal wasn't true.

I'll be there after this.

Okay, be careful on your way.

You were still here.

Is something wrong?

Assistant Yeon confessed that

she ordered to kill Kang Dae Sik and cause President Kim's car crash.

How could that happen?

Where's Min Joon?

He'll visit the prosecutor's office then head to Kim's hospital.

If Kim Tae On gets released with Yeon's confession,

all we have left is President Kim's and Ga On's imprisonment.

He'll try to persuade President Kim.

I'll take you to President Kim if you wanna go.

I'll go with you.

Are you saying you orchestrated all this?

I did everything on my own for the Managing Director.

How is it going?

It's true that Assistant Yeon

made contact with the nurse and the person who sabotaged the car.

If she's released, she'll be capable of anything.

A father couldn't sell out his own daughter.

Then what about Ga On?

Ga On is precious to me, too.

However, the person that can save FB Group in this crisis is...

my daughter Tae On.

So, in order to save FB Group,

you'll cover up your daughter's crimes?

I need a place to return to.

That's what'll get me through this time.

She tried to kill you.

It's a position that requires you to be that strong and determined.

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

Like father, like daughter.

You think Ga On will be any different?

We are done here.

Stop.

You still don't know your place.

You're merely a nanny who raised my son for a while.

Stop getting on my nerve...

and get out of my face.

Don't you ever say Ga On's name again.

I'll never let you near my son.

It looks different from the previous one.

It's a special treatment from your daughter.

Tae On...

Nurse.

Nurse!

Nurse!

Nurse!

Doctor ordered to change the medical fluid.

Medical fluid? I see.

He won't be needing that.

I'm checking him out.

You're checking him out?

Kim Tae On got released.

Yeon confessed that she committed all crimes on her own.

What?

We have to get Ga On to a safe place.

Min Joon is taking care of the check-out.

- Can you help me? - Sure.

He's ready to leave the hospital.

Choi asked to see me.

I'll go and meet him.

Make sure Hera and Ga On are safe.

- Okay. - Okay.

"Jeong Joo Yeon"

Yes.

There's PR material on the inauguration of Kim Tae On to be the company's President.

- President of the company? - Yes.

She also requested correct on the news of her involvement with the nursing facility.

There's nothing we can do to get Kim Tae On?

I'm afraid for Ga On...

I'll try to come up with an idea.

Yeon, should I wear something bold?

Assistant Yeon isn't here...

Before you appear for the ceremony video on the beginning and growth of FB Group

with the previous President and your mother will be screened.

Yes.

Okay.

They're watching it now. It's time to go.

For the past 50 years, FB Group has flourished with the effort of

our previous President Kim Seon Dong and Mrs. Kim Yeong Sook.

With the challenge and effort so far, the next century for

FB Group will set its goal to become a global corporation.

Let's welcome our new leader of FB Group,

President Kim Tae On to the stage.

"President Kim Tae On"

Congratulations, President Kim Tae On.

It seems the employees don't feel the same way.

Or they don't accept someone like you as their boss.

Assistant Nam, drag her out of here right now.

Kim Tae On.

You are under arrest for instigation to commit the murder of Cha Ee Hyeon.

It's Cha Ee Hyeon's murder charge?

Can you prove any of that?

Mr. Choi confessed to everything.

You ordered him to kidnap her,

then he threw her in the sea.

I heard Kim Tae On got released.

I'm not giving up, yet.

Then what?

Do you have a plan?

What if I confess?

Instigation to murder is considered same as committing murder.

There's no statute of limitations, right?

Yes.

I did it.

Cha Ee Hyeon, your sister...

I threw her in the sea.

At the nursing facility,

I saw her son.

When I saw him...

I felt guilty of my actions.

I'm sorry.

I'm really sorry.

You are going down for good this time.

Kang Hera...

You ruined everything!

Kang Hera!

Min Joon...

Kang Hera.

How dare someone like you ruin my life!

I'll make you pay!

Let go of me!

Min Joon, hold on.

Min Joon...

Min Joon...

My sister...

where did you throw her?

After the day of the KEY Ferry accident,

off the coast of Gunsan Port...

Near the motel your sister was staying...

she was talking to someone on the payphone.

I'm fine. So don't worry about me.

I'll call you again.

Ee Hyeon, don't hang up. Hey, sis!

Min Joon, wake up!

Min Joon!

Crake, crake, crake.

Crake cries in the field.

Cuckoo, cuckoo, cuckoo.

Cuckoo cries in the woods.

Are you awake?

I thought of a name for you, my baby.

Ga On.

Do you like it?

We have to hide here for a while,

but when you grow up,

it'd be nice to be someone who loves and be loved by everyone.

It'd also be nice to give warmth to the others.

Ga On...

Ga On...

Mommy.

Are you ready?

Let's see.

- Shall we go? - Yes, mom.

Ta-Da!

What is this?

Well, I'm the owner, so it's a welcome present.

I thought an orchid would be nice on a newspaper CEO's desk.

Thank you.

Make some money and get a nicer office.

Then I'll get you a big one.

Okay, I'll do that.

Where's Hera?

"MAY YOU REST IN PEACE"

Ga On, pay your respects.

Hello. I'm Ga On.

"The Late Cha Ee Hyeon"

I came with Ga On.

He's a big boy now.

I thought you wanted to meet him.

I promised you that I would protect Ga On.

I'll keep that promise till the last day.

Also...

I wanted to say I'm sorry.

Mom, don't cry.

Let's go meet Mr. Lawyer.

Okay.

The remains they found was her after all.

It seems she was drifted to where the others were drowned.

Finding the remain would at least give them closure.

How's Min Joon doing?

Hang on.

When is he going to wake up?

I think he wants to rest a bit more.

I think he had lots of rest.

He had a rough time. So he wants to rest more.

He's not a mister to you. He's your uncle.

Can't I call him Mr. Lawyer?

You must be hungry.

I'll arrange the flowers in the vase then let's go.

Take a seat here.

Dear God,

I want Mr. Lawyer to stay at the Gusan building with me and my mom.

Please, wake him from his sleep.

May God's grace be with him. Amen.

Mr. Lawyer, please wake up soon.

You have to wake up.

So my mom can smile more often.

I'll take that.

How did it go?

Kim Tae On claims that she had a nervous breakdown during the crimes.

She turned in the doctor's report and medical certificate.

That's just nonsense.

Prosecutor Jang said he'll keep trying, but...

Hello.

Mom, I'm hungry.

Okay.

I'll see you in court tomorrow.

Call me if anything happens.

Okay.

Let's go.

The first trial of President Kim Tae On of FB Life Insurance will take place here.

Her lawyers stated that she was treated for mental illness before

and claim that illness recurred during the act of crime.

We will have to watch how the situation develops.

Medical certificate submitted by the defendant

and considering the current of her mind,

the claim that she was under tremendous stress with schizophrenia relapse

is admissible.

The court sentences Kim Tae On

7 years in prison.

Damn it!

This is unbelievable.

Yes.

Min Joon is what?

What happened?

Min Joon disappeared.

I have to go find him.

You're awake.

A nervous breakdown.

Stick with it.

It turns out President Kim gifted his share to Ga On.

Under the current situation, I will be Ga On's sole guardian.

Your father is in a coma and you are...

having a nervous breakdown again.

I'll have an emergency board meeting and vote for a dismissal from President.

While you serve your sentence,

I'll start the process of giving FB Group to society.

What I meant to say is...

your FB Group will no longer exist.

Cha Min Joon.

Cha Min Joon!

Hey, sis...

Sis...

- You couldn't find him? - No.

We even went to his old house,

but he wasn't there.

No luck finding him?

I looked everywhere, but couldn't find him.

Where could he be...

I'd like to assign you on a case, Hera.

Min Joon.

If you make up your mind, I'll have your back.

I don't think it's an easy decision.

I'll have to see what kind of case it is.

Give me some time.

"Petition"

a bereaved family

Hey, representative of the bereaved families on line 1.

Yes, I'm reviewing the settlement agreement.

I'll call you when I'm done. Thanks.

I'll work on terms of the final agreement with the representative and FB legal team.

- I'll call you when it's over. - Okay.

Someone will be here for the assistant job.

If you find her competent, ask that person to join us.

- Okay. - Don't be picky.

Min Joon, is it a girl?

Are you going somewhere?

Yeah, to see the world.

To see the world?

All by yourself?

For how long?

A couple of days?

You can't see the world in a couple of days.

About 2 years?

2 years?

Who's going with you?

I'm going on my own.

It's on my bucket list.

Travel all alone for 2 years?

Nope! You can't go.

Who are you to stop me? Even my father didn't stop me.

That's why I'm stopping you.

Your father could be indifferent sometimes.

Are you speaking ill of my father?

Of course not.

What about money?

You didn't regain the building, yet.

You need to work to pay the rent.

Ta-Da!

I withdrew my instalment savings!

I dreamed to see the world and saved money for 10 years.

It's expired!

It covers all my rent and travel money!

Right, you've got mail. Check it out.

Eun Hae.

You said 2 years?

Huh? Yes.

You can go.

What?

I was gonna go anyway.

I got the draft notice.

What?

Oh my gosh. You didn't serve the army, yet?

Let me take a look.

You're really drafted.

It makes you happy?

I'll be gone.

I mean...

you can go serve your country if you haven't done it already.

Crap.

What's wrong with him?

Hey, did I hurt your feelings?

It's less than 2 years. You'll be back in no time.

Are you crazy?

Have you lost it?

You get called for duty and suddenly you wanna kiss anybody?

You did it first before.

Before?

At the club.

I was kind of undercover...

I thought my heart was gonna explode.

Every time I see you after that day, it drove me crazy.

Why would your heart...

Wait for me.

2 years. You can see the world and do whatever you want.

But don't meet any guys.

Wait for me.

Take this.

If you have it on, it's a "yes".

If you're not wearing it, it's a "no".

What's gotten into him...

Hey, army life isn't so bad.

The same people live there, you know.

2 years flies faster than you think.

That's not why I'm agitated.

Then what's the matter?

I mean, why now?

I haven't done anything, yet.

You proposed to her, didn't you?

You think she'll wear it?

Well, if I were a lady...

why would I say "yes"?

I'm not that bad.

Excuse me.

I heard you're hiring an assistant.

Do you work here?

Yes. You're here for the interview...

Do you have a girlfriend?

No.

- Okay, you passed. - What?

You passed. I'll work here.

- Hey. - I'm sorry.

You're not my type anymore.

I had to quit my job and it changed my perspectives on the job.

I'll work for a company that doesn't break the law.

Also...

a colleague that could live without the law and has the chance of hooking up.

Okay! You passed.

You moved from job to job a lot.

20 jobs for the past 7 years.

It's one job.

I've only had one job for 7 years.

The company changed its name frequently.

Oh, I see.

It only says "H-company" and "S-company".

What kind of companies are these?

It stands for Happy Credit and Saebit Credit Information.

Those are companies that changed their names a lot.

I'm clean with people problems and money problems.

Let's just say I'm an expert on non-monetary institutions.

I see.

You're lucky to have me.

Pardon me?

You're also my type.

Congratulations.

I thought my heart was gonna explode.

My gosh. So what?

It's driving me crazy.

Why don't you say "yes"?

You'll be travelling while he's gone.

Army isn't the problem.

I'm talking about our age difference.

What are you talking about?

You guys are friends.

Friends with 12 years apart.

Hey, stop it. Go to sleep!

You're mean. You even have a son.

- Check the cause of exemption. - Okay.

Assistant Seo.

- Make a copy, please. - Sure.

- Coffee for you. - Thanks.

What did you say? Cause of exemption...

Please come in.

You called earlier, right? Have a seat, please.

Cheers.

Time flies.

Two of you are leaving tomorrow.

Are you ready?

I packed my bags already.

How about you? You packed everything you need?

Kind of.

Don't worry. You'll do just fine.

Stop drawing long breath.

I should have left a month ago.

I delayed my trip a month and had to put up with him.

It became a habit. You'll get picked on in the army for that.

Was I too harsh?

He's frustrated as he is. Go on.

Maybe I should.

Kim Hyeon Seong.

Are you angry?

I'm sorry.

I get comfortable around you.

Frankly, you've been breathing heavily for a month.

There's nothing else to say?

Huh?

Take care.

I'll be fine.

Wait.

Will this be enough?

Do you know how old I am?

None of that matters.

Nobody can replace you.

Yes. I left out the statement?

I'll fax it over right away. Okay.

I have to go to the office to fax something.

Do Yoon, be careful out there.

What?

You could get punched in the face.

I don't think they'll notice me.

How long do we have to wait for them?

I have no idea.

I was wondering...

will you keep your channel?

If no one wants my help, I won't have a choice.

But if clients want my help, I'll keep my channel.

If I knew what kind of a person you are,

I wouldn't have hired you for revenge.

Don't worry.

I can't stop worrying.

I'm worried that I'll be worried for the rest of my life.

Then there's only one solution.

Wait till the day no one wants revenge.

I wonder...

if that day will ever come.

Till that day comes...

I'll have your back.

So, the two of you had a nice chat?

Where's my passport?

There's nothing to talk about.

I waited too long in the dark hallway.

Is it a client?

Yes.

She's a kindergarten teacher.

She was sure a student was being abused by her foster parents,

so she called the police.

But the child was sent back to the foster parents.

She got worried and went to their house.

She says she can hear the child crying.

You're gonna go there now?

I think I should go right away.

To a child, a few seconds could feel like life and death.

I'll go with you.

Foster parents could deny everything and use violence.

Okay.

- I'll go with you. - Me, too.

You two should get some rest for tomorrow.

I'll go with Min Joon on this one.

Nonsense. I'd rather give up my trip.

I can't leave like this, either.

I'll go to the police station.

Then we can all go together.

Some people can't tell the truth about their pain and unjust.

Till the day that those people are loved and respected...

Kang Hera's Live Revenge Show will be back with a new episode.
