Your plan was to steal the diamond yourself

and let the others conceal your crime

by unknowingly stealing a second model that you'd made.

So Phipps wouldn't realize he'd been tricked

until after it was all over.

Then who could he complain to?

And while the police were chasing them,

you cut the diamond into smaller shapes

so that you could dispose of them without being traced.
