I've found !

Let's use the motors to

return the load to the eel.

I said don't exceed 1000 volts.

I thought it would work.

You will have the Nautilus. But once my goal is achieved.

And what is this goal?

Heading for Halvar.

I need to know where Nemo is taking the Nautilus.

And you're going to tell me.

You are ready ?

Atlantis.

Did the Company build the Nautilus for that?

You took this in my office!

They must have been poisoned on the island.

Renouka.

Have you seen a ghost?

What is that ?

The Ring of Fire.

Impossible to deviate.

You have to take care of it.

As long as you can.

You can't help us.

You're not there.

Mya!

What were you doing with these plans?

I wanted to help you.

Suyin?

Are you doing well ?

I had a dream

that seemed so real.

Same for me.

Mrs. Foxley-Pope?

Dreams are private.

And what did you dream of?

I prefer to forget.

I saw my sons.

It's cooled down here.

What happened ?

-Humility! - What does she have ?

She is out.

It's none of your business, Cuff!

- What did he do ? - He stole my plans.

Nemo!

Start the engines. U-turn.

Hold on ! What is going on ?

Humility.

Humility.

Take the diving suit off him.

Right away !

Cuff.

You will pull this lever.

It's understood ?

It's what ?

A component of my stun guns.

What are you going to do to him?

Bring her back to life.

Jiacomo, please.

Step back.

Once again.

Once again.

Start again!

Another miracle.

You saved our lives.

Once again.

Mr. Haris?

He can't have disappeared.

Mr. Haris will inform us at the slightest signal.

We are not very far anymore.

It's already a miracle.

A coffee.

What does your Indian give, Millais?

He is alive ?

I gave you an order.

I can make him talk.

Let me question him.

Don't take this the wrong way, but

the mentality of the natives escapes you.

I didn't know they all had the same one.

You have to have read their

literature, studied their

religion, and listened to them

jabber on the markets to know the mentality...

Indians.

How many of their languages ??do you speak?

Only Bengali.

Only Bengali?

I would pass for a native

in Hindustani, Gujarati,

Marathi, and perhaps

even in Punjabi and Sindhi.

- Pass for a native? - Insurance question.

Insurance, you

have it in spades.

And that's a compliment.

I admit that my Telugu and

Toda are somewhat

rudimentary, but not through my fault.

This Indian in question,

he is not Bengali?

I think Lord Pitt had a more general view.

Perfectly.

Which one, Lord Pitt?

Which of which?

You don't know it yourself.

Shut up, Punch!

Do you have documentation

on the Nautilus escapees?

Yes.

Does it include information about their families?

I'm not sure of it.

Bring everything to my cabin.

I will force the Indian to tell

me why Nemo chose this place and what he knows about our plans.

The project is to force a

dent in the Chinese market.

Come on, Crawley.

You think you're keeping a big secret,

but you're not the only one in the know.

The extent of your knowledge could fit on a stamp.

Please excuse me.

Choose this place?

What's so important here?

We question his subordinates, not his superiors.

You would know, if you were a real gentleman.

I'm not fooled by your little charade.

The reluctant soldier, worn out by blood and gunpowder.

I know about your schemes, Millais.

Your past with Nemo kept secret.

What you did To be

at the officers' table.

You don't know anything about me!

Lord.

GOOD.

I will forget this affront.

Because unlike consanguineous, of the

simpleton and the brave idiot sitting next to

it, I know you will have the nerve to kill Nemo.

Bring me what I asked you.

Miss Lucas! Please sit down.

Teacher !

Have you left your books?

Quite.

THANKS.

- A fruit ? - Yes thanks.

You want some ?

Miss Lucas, are you better?

I'm doing well and you ?

I'm better, thank you.

Miss Humility?

You are still shaken.

I just remembered

what I saw in the ocean.

Describe it.

A kind...

of ark?

Carved from a rock.

She almost seemed... built by man.

- Come with me. - What ?

Come.

Wait !

We were all sick.

- It was a hallucination. - Maybe.

It's possible.

Don't doubt yourself.

I'm sure she really saw it.

What are you sure she saw?

Atlantis.

Are you serious ?

I always dreamed of finding it.

It is a myth elaborated by Plato, nothing more.

Developed from Solon's work.

Lost writings. If they even existed.

Even if Plato says the truth, we

are in the Pacific. It locates Atlantis

In the Atlantic.

But I found a manuscript in Karajaan

Which contained the first translation of Solon's text.

And this card.

She's here, Nemo.

Atlantis is here.

You led us here.

You wanted to go through the ring of fire.

Over, not through.

I didn't want to risk our lives.

Yet you did it.

All this for what ? A childish dream!

As childish as hoping

find the treasure of Halvar

To take revenge.

And what's more, you crippled the submarine.

It was my fault.

Pardon ?

I am a scientist.

- We'll come back to that. - To revenge too.

If there's even the slightest chance

Let it be Atlantis, I have to go.

It is my duty to explore it.

Benot is right,

Such a discovery would change the world.

Out of the question.

We,

men of action,

We like to make fun of the simple administrative employee.

From the soporific notary with his documents.

But their registers and

official documents Are the

true foundations of the Company's power.

Take this census of a village near Habra.

Reported by a poor employee

who had to curse his superiors

in London as he walked through

cow dung to fulfill his duties.

I hope he died of malaria.

Is this your family?

Jaswinder

and Chitra?

Your parents.

Ajay and Aarman.

Your brothers.

You could help me ?

This employee had dirty handwriting.

Probably malaria.

Upinder.

My sister.

Pity.

They have nothing to do with any of this.

I know.

But if you stand up to Crawley, your

family will pay the price for your courage.

Tell me what you know.

And I promise

to burn them.

My dear...

That's the promise of an Englishman.

The Pillars of Halvar.

The Nautilus is heading towards Halvar.

Halvar?

He's going to hunt for treasure.

I was surely wrong To lead

us here without telling you.

But everything I've read,

everything I've studied, leads

me to believe that Atlantis exists.

That in this ocean, there

exists a place where we

live in harmony, with

those around us, and with nature.

A place where war does not exist.

Humans are incapable of living in peace.

You don't think so.

I am convinced of it.

Nemo, I

beg you.

This is why I exist.

This is my reason for being.

Yours is darker.

Your thirst for revenge has driven you for three years.

Forget the past.

Go ahead.

Admire what is available to you.

Mobilis in mobile.

Even if it means never asking

you anything again, Grant me this.

Am I not your friend?

An expedition.

No more.

THANKS.

Crawley won't find them.

You don't hunt down Nemo for them.

But for you.

What did he do to you?

Farewell, Mr. Gosh.

If you find the Nautilus, you

won't just have Nemo to fight.

We tasted freedom, no one will take it back from us.

I'm the one who wears the chains,

but you're the slave, Captain Millais!

You should stay here.

It's understandable, to hesitate to return there.

If Benot is right, it's unmissable.

Nemo.

When you were...

Lost, you said a name.

Renouka.

I dreamed that I was with

my wife and my daughter.

Were you not there that day?

When they were...

I was at Oxford.

I was finishing my studies.

By the time we reached

Bombay, it was already too late.

Men from the Company were waiting for me.

They told me everything.

They knew how I would react.

They didn't need much more to imprison me in Kalpani.

I am sincerely sorry.

- It's terrible. - Captain!

Rockets.

Listen carefully. It contains

oxygen and magnesium.

Be careful.

You unscrew the head, and boom.

It's a scientific expedition.

Not a hunting trip.

No underwater rifle.

This paralyzes, it does not kill.

Nemo.

Why take Cuff?

He is not reliable.

We don't know what awaits us.

He's a soldier. He comes.

Fill the airlock.

All right.

I go.

You care about her.

I care about my livelihood.

Stairs !

Stairs !

Come.

It's breathable.

It smells musty, but it must not

have been aired for centuries.

Imagine the power it takes to build this.

If this was built well.

It's impossible otherwise.

If it was built, imagine the

power of what destroyed it.

Did the Company know that the Nautilus would be used for this?

Why this question ?

Who are you really?

Cuff.

Watch over her.

Everything is fine.

Good, Captain.

It slips.

Are you doing well ?

Attention.

Let's go?

Where is your city under the sea?

Thanks to all this

air, We can look for it.

Jiacomo.

Stay here.

Miss Lucas?

THANKS. Call me Humility.

Humility.

Sculptures ?

Fossils.

Were these things alive?

Millions of years ago.

Maybe more.

At the time, this stone...

Was just mud.

Anything.

There's nothing that old.

You haven't read Vestiges of Natural History?

It sold well.

Are these ferns?

Marine animals.

Precisely, echinoderms.

Crinoids.

Starfish?

Paleontology holds the answers

to many questions about the past.

People are asking too many questions these days.

Better to take things as they come.

Where would we be if everyone thought that?

Do you really think this structure is natural?

You're the one who always talks about the wonders of nature.

Nemo!

Look at.

Hieroglyphics.

Scratches.

I wish you were right.

Really.

You are an engineer.

Where does your knowledge of paleontology come from?

It's more of a hobby.

I have a lot. And you ?

In my world, we have...

Little time for leisure.

Of course.

Where are you from ?

Edward, is that right?

From Spitalfields.

My father made furniture.

When he wasn't drinking.

Was the Company your escape?

"Travel the world", what they said.

Go bully others, instead of getting bullied.

It is not the same, on the Nautilus.

Are we going to live forever as happy misfits?

It's a fairy tale.

It was what ?

Let's leave this place.

Come.

Edward?

Follow me.

Edward.

Curious creature.

I try to remove it.

She's well hung.

I'm going to cut it. Ready ?

Don't move, you'll be fine.

- Humility? - This way !

Come and help me.

Keep him on his back.

One last one, Cuff.

Your hand.

- How are you. - It was what ?

A living fossil.

A crinoid.

A starfish.

How much ?

Two or three...

Hundreds?

Go! NOW !

Come on !

Benedict?

Benedict!

-Jiacomo! - We're going !

Hurry!

We have to get out of here quickly.

Your diving suits!

Where is Benot?

Do we have rockets?

Benedict!

Light them all around!

Come on !

We have to wait for Benot.

- Go back. - Not without you or Benot.

If something bad happens, Someone has to pilot the Nautilus.

Pardon ?

Humility, pity.

All right.

Come back quickly.

Benedict!

Nemo! Guess what I found.

- Not now ! - Listen to me.

I discovered...

You, listen to me. We were discovered.

- By an enemy? - Not a friend.

Benot, we have to hurry.

Stay close to the light...

Course !

Quickly ! Accelerated !

Come on !

Put this on.

We have to leave.

Come on !

I hold you.

Nemo!

Benedict!

Take my hand !

Hold on !

Take it.

Nemo.

Come, its good!

I'm doing well.

- How are you ? - Yes.

I'm doing well.

Benedict?

Messenger ship! In position !

A message for Director Crawley.

To be delivered by hand.

Not to a subordinate.

Clear it.

Tell me.

What lies beneath the Pillars of Halvar?

It's an old tale, which our professor read

at Ravenforth, taken from the Nordic sagas.

They are said to contain the burial

ship of Freyja, queen of the Norse

Isles, and decades of accumulated loot.

The strangest things can be true.

Director Crawley, if you told

me why the Company had the

Nautilus built, I could be more...

Come in.

The simpleton.

Yes sir. Well no, Lieutenant Punch.

A message to the

director's council...

No, a message from the governing council...

Close your mouth.

You read it.

The envelope opened.

Tell me what it says there.

You are summoned by Lord Parmoor.

A ship is waiting for you

To take you to London.

Well.

This is not a good sign that the government

is interested in the Company's activities.

I'll take care of Parmoor.

Find me the Nautilus.

- Pardon... - What the hell !

My excuses.

Good luck, the terrible director.

It is not logical.

If Nemo heads to Halvar, he is going the wrong way.

Not if he hopes to cut...

Over there.

The Arctic?

The northeast passage.

No one has ever successfully navigated it.

That won't stop Nemo.

We are faster.

We'll wait for him there, then.

Hooray!

By producing electrolysis of

water, the two molecules

divide and transform into two

different gases, thanks to two

distinct reactions of spontaneous evolution.

So H multiplied by O2,

plus E to the power...

Benoit...

You are a genius !

I shouldn't have given in.

- He would have wanted you. - But he would be alive.

You have been a loyal friend.

You allowed him to touch his dream.

A mirage.

Because of me, he thought he would find something there.

If it's not my fault, it's not yours.

Humility, come! I found the solution...

Who does this Nemo think he is?

How do you cope with it?

He annoys me to no end.

Nemo, I...

He is vain, narrow-minded,

arrogant, selfish, stupid...

Nemo...

That was before I knew you.

A smug idiot!

He has no consideration for others!

Be patient with him.

For what ?

His heart bears an immense wound.

A wound which, I hope, thanks

to the passage of time and the

wonders of the ocean that we

will encounter, will be able to heal.
