The killer started firing
the second Officer Palmer

entered the building.

this detective

showed up.

Started asking me questions
about how drunk I was

and how I started
the whole thing.

Made it clear that it was
my word against theirs.

You think he was trying to get
you to drop the complaint?

He pretended to be sincere,
acting like he was worried

I'd get discharged or arrested
for assaulting an officer.

So you let it go.

That detective was right
about one thing.

and it allows you
to isolate the DNA

so you can test it,
and I did it, and it worked.

to talk to Taggert

Turns out that the beating
that Blakely gave him

put him into a coma.
