On a regular basis, violent crimes are committed by individuals angry at society.

This gives us an overview into the fallen morals of our society.

Three experts who will provide detailed analysis and insight are with us.

Kil Ji-yong is a professor of social psychology at Yonsei University.

Huh Yun-chol is the editor-in-chief ofthe Chosun llbo.

Since the Chuseok holidays,

these murders have dominated the headlines,

which I'm sure you have seen and certainly have thoughts about.

Professor Kil, let's start with you.

Before responding as a professor of psychology,

first and foremost I was shocked and saddened as a human being.

Of course the murders were extremely violent,

but I was struck by the fact that people around the killer

thought of him as quiet, trustworthy and kind.

That was chilling as well as saddening.

It seems our sense of community is disappearing.

We've got to start at the very beginning.

The problems begin with education at home and at school.

But aren't there limits to what formal education can achieve?

Isn't there simply too much sex and violence to deal with?

Perhaps that's the moral climate we live in.

Look at our popular culture...
