Julia and Olivia started the leg in last.

JULIA: First place, let's go!

But twirled their way to the top

for their first win of the race.

JON: You're team #1! JULIA: Yes!

Followed by Lauren and Nicole,

and Taylor and Katie...

-You're team #3. -Woohoo!

...rounding out the podium.

COLIN: I feel like there's daggers going into my knees.

And while Colin had two left feet and a bum knee...

COLIN: This is painful.

It was Brad who was left flatfooted.

BRAD: I'm not close.

Sending Team Mayday crashing down.

BRAD: I'm so sorry. SAM: I love you.

BRAD: The Amazing Race Canada,

thank you for the opportunity.

I was stealing time... with my daughter.

SAM: Yeah.

AMARI: The Prairies, baby.

Now, 7 teams are back in Regina

as they continue their race to win

the first ever 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV RS...

A trip for two around the world from Expedia...

A quarter of a million dollars cash...

JULIA: We have huge momentum.

We proved to everyone that we can come from the back

and make it all the way into first.

JULIA: Leg six! OLIVIA: Let's go!

JON: Julia and Olivia won the last leg of the race,

and will depart first, at 9:05 am.

JULIA: "Make your way to Guelph, Ontario."

OLIVIA: Nice.

JULIA: "Caution, Double Pass ahead."

OLIVIA: Wow. JULIA: Let's go. Taxi!

OLIVIA: In my past life, I was definitely a UFC fighter.

JULIA: Ha-ha. SFX: [Match bell ringing]

LAUREN: Double Pass is a little sus.

What does that mean again?

NICOLE: If someone put your name up,

you gotta wait for the person behind you to pass you.

LAUREN: That's annoying.

So, we still have the Express Pass in our back pocket,

and so we need to use that this leg of the race.

NICOLE: I wonder if people almost wouldn't pass us

because, why pass us if we have the Express Pass?

TAYLOR: We are feeling good, feeling that girl power going

into today, and we're gonna come out on top.

KATIE: The wrestlers are ready for a win.

With the top three teams being all female teams,

we're ready to keep that going.

TAYLOR: Hello, friends. Girl power.

[Laughing]

KATIE: Doesn't that feel good?

MICHAEL: We are headed back east.

TYSON So, unfortunately, last leg,

we burned our Express Pass.

That's gonna make things a little bit more difficult.

KEVIN: Saskatchewan was rough for us, honestly.

We're happy to get out of here and go to a new province.

GURLEEN: We went from assassins to cockroaches.

Now we're two lone wolves.

Baby, we are red headband energy,

and that is gonna keep us going.

MICHAEL: We do have the Express Pass, and...

might have to use it to gain some ground.

COLIN: "Caution, Double Pass ahead."

-Alright, let's go. -Oh, that sucks.

COLIN: Yeah, my knees are feeling a little bit sore.

You know, if I have to hobble across the hurdles,

I'm gonna hobble across them.

MATT: Did you get a shot of pain there?

COLIN: Well, just when I started to run.

[Laughing]

KEVIN: There's a Double Pass board ahead.

Are you guys gonna pass somebody?

NICOLE: I mean, I'm not gonna throw you guys on.

I don't think I'm gonna throw anyone on there.

I mean, if you guys randomly get there before us,

I mean, don't put us on, again.

GURLEEN: We won't put you guys up.

We're not gonna go against you. No.

NICOLE: After these last few legs,

I wouldn't say I totally trust Kevin and Gurleen.

They put our name for the U-Turn vote.

KEVIN: We're very worried that a lot of chips

are going into here, these two beautiful people,

but we're gonna throw a vote on them and

hopefully it's okay.

The lesson is to definitely be careful

about who you trust.

We will forgive them, but we'll never forget.

So dramatic. [Laughing] Ha-ha!

NICOLE: Yeah. Okay. See you guys.

JON: All teams are traveling on the same flight,

over 2000 kilometres from the prairies

to Pearson International Airport.

Once they land,

they'll hop in a 2024 Chevrolet Trax RS,

and drive over 70 kilometres

to the city of Guelph, Ontario.

♪

Once here, they'll search for McCrae House,

the birthplace of poet, doctor,

and lieutenant-colonel, John McRae.

The wartime poem "In Flanders Fields"

was originally penned by McRae on the battlefields of

World War I in East Belgium.

Over 100 years later,

those powerful and lasting words are

a tribute to those who sacrificed so much to secure

the rights and freedoms that we enjoy today.

♪

JULIA: So pretty.

"In Flanders Fields the poppies blow,

between the crosses, row on row."

TYSON: "If ye break faith with us who die,

we shall not sleep while poppies grow

in Flanders Fields."

GURLEEN: That's so amazing. KEVIN: It's beautiful.

GURLEEN: Yeah.

MATT: "A century after the war's end,

McRae's words remain an important symbol

of remembrance."

COLIN: I'm a teacher, and every single year on

Remembrance Day, I teach my students the poem,

"In Flanders Field".

We're just reflecting on the lives that were lost and,

very grateful for the service that

they have provided our country.

MICHAEL: Because there were so many Indigenous soldiers

that died in the war, they went there and

they did a ceremony where they called

the spirits back home. Pretty amazing.

KATIE: To learn about what he did,

and the things he accomplished,

and just the legacy he left is a real honour to be here.

TAYLOR: Both of my great grandpas

served during the war so,

they're definitely crossing my mind right now.

And, I'm forever grateful for their contributions.

JON: Teams will now leave McRae House,

based on their order of arrival.

JULIA: "Road Block. Who can be letter perfect?"

OLIVIA: You. JULIA: I can.

MICHAEL: "Who can be letter perfect?" It's me.

GURLEEN: I think I should do it.

KEVIN: I think so too.

JON: In this Road Block,

one racer will experience the Elora Quarry...

in all of its glory.

Woo-hoo-hoo-hoo!

Racers must search the quarry to find and collect

three caches of protein-packed,

ready-to-drink Boost.

Then, racers will scale a rope ladder

90 feet to the top of the quarry,

where they'll need to unscramble a secret word

using the nutritional information

found on the four different types of Boost

that they've collected.

SFX: [Bell rings]

Once they solve the secret word,

Santiago will give them their next clue...

and a Boost to keep them fueled up for the

rest of this leg of the race.

KATIE: I'm gonna do this Road Block.

AMARI: Alright, I can do it. COLIN: I'll do it.

LAUREN: I'm doing this.

JULIA: We've been to Elora Gorge. Right, Liv?

Didn't we jump off the cliff?

OLIVIA: This is epic. I've beached right there...

with a little less clothing.

OLIVIA: There you go! JULIA: This is beauty!

OLIVIA: Come on, babe!

Get those buoys!

Don't worry about behind. Look ahead!

MICHAEL: T, baby! TYSON: Atta boy!

He looks like he's doing well right now.

He's off to a good start.

We're trying to catch Olivia and Julia right now.

OLIVIA: Come on, Julia! Climb it up!

You've got big legs for a reason!

MICHAEL: Climb with my feet, if I like.

MICHAEL: [Effort grunting]

OLIVIA: Perfect for this challenge.

JULIA: I need to spell out a word relating to Boost.

I need to add up the protein,

and it has to equal 188 grams.

The first thing that comes to my mind

when I think of Boost is protein.

I'm seeing some of the letters already, P-R-O.

TAYLOR: You got it, Katie! Looking strong and beautiful!

KATIE: Gotta find a way to have fun.

MICHAEL: Good job, Son!

Amari just got to the first buoy.

AMARI: Alright, let's out of here.

KEVIN: This is all you, baby! You're almost there, babe!

MATT: You've got it, babe!

GURLEEN: Oh my god.

KEVIN: Yeah, baby, get in there.

GURLEEN: I'm trying!

Oh, [Beep] I didn't use my gloves.

KEVIN: It's hard. It's hard to watch her struggle.

we've just been wrong on every Road Block.

Somehow, she gets the physical one

every single time.

MICHAEL: Yeah, Amari!

KEVIN: There's a Double Pass ahead.

Express Passes are still in play.

GURLEEN: My hands.

KEVIN: Oh, she just [Beep]!

GURLEEN: I feel so defeated.

This can't be the more perfect challenge...

because honestly, I need a Boost, y'all.

MICHAEL: I'm starting to visualize what words

JULIA: Let's just do a check.

TYSON: Are we gone? MICHAEL: Let's go, baby!

OLIVIA: Come on, Julia-aah-ah-ah!

SFX: [Ripping paper]

MICHAEL: "Drive yourselves to Elora, Ontario."

JULIA: "...and search the downtown walking bridge

for your next clue."

JON: Racers will now search the town of Elora

for the Jack R. MacDonald Bridge.

Here, teams will take in the epic view of the Grand River

and, they'll find the pass.

Two teams will be able to stop two other teams

in their tracks until another team passes them.

All while remaining anonymous. Ha-ha-ha.

Let's see if some bridges get burnt.

TYSON: We're currently in first place right now.

We might get to the, the board first

for the Double Pass.

Figuring out what's the best strategic play.

MICHAEL: We'll see when we get there.

So we've just got to kind of monitor the race and

see where we're at.

OLIVIA: If Kevin and Gurleen were in the back of the pack,

it might influence my decision.

You know, they came to the challenge that

we just left, third.

KEVIN: Baby, you're so close!

GURLEEN: Am I almost there?

KEVIN: You can do this!

NICOLE: You got it, Lauren!

Good job, Laur, you're killing it!

KEVIN: Babe, I'm so proud of you!

Yeah! She made it, she got up there.

It's so good.

AMARI: Alright. Let me pick a station.

KATIE: I was able to pass Gurleen in the canoe.

So, I'd like to keep that lead.

JULIA: I don't know if we're gonna do anything.

JON: Teams must now make their way to

the town of Fergus, and find the

Wellington County Museum and Archives.

Once here, teams must search through hundreds of

historical articles on microfilm for a series of

stories that reflect their adventures on

The Amazing Race Canada.

When they present the headline of the article

relating to this leg of the race,

the librarian will give them their next clue.

TYSON: We've got no blood on our hands right now.

We got out of there quick,

and we'll let the other teams duke it out.

JULIA: Kevin and Gurleen picking us to be U-Turned

is in the past.

We don't want just karma coming back to us again.

We'll let the other teams behind us take care of it.

OLIVIA: It is what it is. Go, team.

JULIA: You feel okay with that decision?

OLIVIA: I don't know.

AMARI: Is it natural? Is it nutrition?

Nutrition.

-Yup! -Alright!

-Good job. Alright. -Thank you, sir. Thanks.

GURLEEN: Amari, what is it?

AMARI: What is it? Nutrition.

GURLEEN: The challenge is pretty strenuous.

Check.

-SFX: [Bell rings] -Great, good job.

AMARI: Gurleen was asking what it was.

Hopefully, it repays us later.

MICHAEL: We feel comfortable because...

we still have the Express Pass.

KEVIN: I think we're gonna get passed.

The whole cast is coming out for us.

It's just, we're just outsiders.

KATIE: We are gonna be putting Kevin and Gurleen

up on this pass board. No hesitation.

TAYLOR: They're a stronger team and

they also like to stab people in the back.

So, this is revenge for Julia and Olivia.

COLIN: [Breathing heavily]

I'm sure his knees are hurting a lot.

He's using a lot of arms right now to get up.

but I know we'll catch up.

But just it's always nice to not start at the back.

We've got to put ourselves ahead.

We don't want to play around with Express Passes

coming near the end challenges so,

we need to gain some flexibility.

TYSON: Wellington County Museum and Archives.

We're looking for a single page in the newspaper...

where every article is about this season of

The Amazing Race Canada.

TYSON: There's hundreds of pages in here.

All this fine print. They're trying to hide it.

JULIA: Great. Happy to be here.

KATIE: Let's choose this one.

MICHAEL: Hey, did you guys put anybody on the board?

TAYLOR: We put Kevin and Gurleen up.

MICHAEL: I like it. TYSON: Of course, you did.

TAYLOR: Yeah.

AMARI: Okay. MICHAEL: Ooh! Uh...

AMARI: Just leave it? MICHAEL: Yeah.

AMARI: Okay. MICHAEL: Okay, let's go.

KEVIN: Hey! Not really surprised.

GURLEEN: Put the twins up.

KEVIN: Yeah, that's the only thing we can do.

There's two teams behind us.

We think that Colin and Matt are in last,

so we might as well try to slow down the twins

a little bit, you know. It's our only move.

LAUREN: Hopefully, nobody passed us, Nicole.

NICOLE: I'm hoping no one put us on there

because it would just have to-

it would suck to have to wait for Colin and Matt.

LAUREN: I'd be so annoyed.

If Kevin and Gurleen passed us, that'd be so rude.

I would never trust them again if they did that.

MICHAEL: We get to the archives,

and we see Julia and Olivia, Michael and Tyson,

and we see the wrestlers.

AMARI: If we can get ahead on some of these other teams and

then use our Express Pass,

that'll put us in a really good spot.

MICHAEL: When I was young,

I used to go with Uchem to the library,

and this would be there.

OLIVIA: "Welcomed with open arms, us coming back."

JULIA: Sure. Can we do a check?

A couple welcomed with open arms?

LIBRARIAN: I'm sorry, that's not correct.

-SFX: [Buzzer] -Thank you. Thanks.

This is gonna be a long challenge.

We've been here for a while.

NICOLE: Kevin and Gurleen are the most untrustworthy team

in the race.

LAUREN: We've been nice to them.

They put our name on the U-Turn,

and then we worked with them again.

And then they did this again.

NICOLE: They're so shady.

They look like snakes in their picture.

GURLEEN: The twins feel backstabbed.

They feel hurt. That's just the way it goes.

KEVIN: We're the ones who could be crying.

Everybody's coming after us.

LAUREN: We're probably just gonna use the

Express Pass to get ahead.

Can Colin and Matt hurry?

COLIN: A Boost word. [Sighing]

I'm very stressed because every other team is gone,

and I have no idea what this word is.

I thought I was good at words. Apparently not.

SFX: [Buzzer]

MICHAEL: We're trying to get ahead to the date,

AMARI: So what I notice in the paragraph is

it's talking about us choosing our next Detour,

so I take that headline and I write it down.

MICHAEL: [Whispering] Just the title.

JULIA: Michael and Amari just got it.

They got it pretty quickly.

AMARI: "Detour. Flames or frames?"

JON: Here in Wellington County,

the arts take centre stage, and in this Detour,

teams will show off their artistic side

as they create using Flames...

or Frames.

In Flames, teams must locate the

Kitras Art Glass Studio in the town of Fergus.

Once here, they'll choose a glass smith

who will instruct them on the precarious process

of blowing glass, using a pipe,

glory hole, and extreme heat.

Teams will have to shape this blob of molten glass

into one of these beautiful orbs.

Ha, what could go wrong?

SFX: [Glass shattering] Ah!

'Frames' requires teams to make their way to

the Elora Centre for the Arts.

Once here, they'll find this work of art in the gallery.

Teams will need to memorize all the

intricate details of this painting,

and then recreate it from memory in real life.

Once they've painted the perfect living picture,

Sonia will give them their next clue.

AMARI: We're choosing Flame.

Got here in fourth and we we're leaving in first,

I believe, baby!

MICHAEL: Yes, let's go get them.

COLIN: Oh, Jesus, I'm an idiot.

I forgot I have to add up to 188.

just pass them anyway. So, dumb move for them.
