CSIS has had excellent relations with the CIA.

We've had a long history of co-operation and collaboration.

-I wasn't aware that had changed.

on the inside of the Blackmire group?

-You understand the protocol where

operators or informants are involved.

have access to that information.

our operators or informants muddying the waters,

or putting their investigation at risk.

They were given intelligence by the FBI

about our Blackmire operation which was not intended

for anyone else beyond the FBI.

When I inquired what the nature of their interest

in Blackmire was, Agent Cruickshank refused to tell me.

-We rely on the CIA for a great deal of our intelligence.

and if you challenge them,

they have a tendency to turn off the tap.

-I'm conducting an investigation

on behalf of Financial Investigations

into Blackmire's tax evasion scheme.

I take my direction from them, not the FBI.

Or God forbid, the CIA.

If Financial tells me to pull the plug

on my Blackmire operation, I'll pull it.
