We'd like you to monitor the situation.

-When is this gonna happen?

We're working with the FBI on this.

They gave us the heads up.

They can't monitor American companies here in Canada,

which is why they came to us.

-Anything we can glean about how they're

moving money out of the country,

what sort of domestic institutions

they're using to launder the money,

and where offshore it's landing.

-Sounds like it's a basic follow the money investigation.

the Blackmire Group is exactly?

-It's an affiliation of both Canadian

and American resource companies

with massive Canadian holdings.

They're basically getting together to figure out

how to move the money around to avoid

paying taxes here.

We're talking huge amounts of tax dodging.

Billions of dollars annually.

-The head of security is an ex-CSIS agent, Dave Baker.
